Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for removing Liquids from the surface of one out of one Strip processing machine, in particular a roll stand, conveyed belt by means of gas jets.
- the object of the invention is a device of the type explained above improve that with such a device a further improved cleaning of the surface of the tape over the entire width of which can be reached.
- a device for removing liquids from the surface of a from a tape processing machine especially one Roll stand, conveyor belt released, with at least spaced two in the conveying direction of the belt outlet nozzles arranged one behind the other, such are directed against each other that the out gas jets emerging from opposite outlet nozzles flow against each other with at least one partial flow and that the gas jets thus meeting each other a common against at least one of the side Edges of the band flow flowing together, and is equipped with a suction opening that the one Edge is assigned to which the common flow the gas jets flow.
- the device designed according to the invention achieved that the individual, out of the nozzles escaping gas jets to a volume flow unite, which has a particularly high mass impulse or can pass on a particularly high kinetic energy. This creates turbulence in the area in which the gas jets mix. These eddies favor the fogging of the belt surface adhering liquid. This is also favored Mixing of at least two outlet nozzles escaping gas jets in that at least one Partial stream of that emerging from the outlet nozzles Gas jet is directed against the gas jet that from the opposite outlet nozzle exit.
- the device according to the invention Because especially in the edge area of the tape a big one Volume flow to remove the there on the belt adhesive liquid is needed, it makes sense if the device according to the invention with a variety from side by side in rows across the width of the ribbon arranged outlet nozzles is equipped. In this Fall decreases the gas volume flow due to the fact that it an additional partial flow from each of the outlet nozzles is added to the side edge of the tape.
- the arrangement of the outlet nozzles can be chosen in this way be that the increase in volume flow across the width of the band due to the accumulation of the liquid predetermined conditions is optimally adapted.
- outlet nozzles side by side in rows On Another advantage of the arrangement of outlet nozzles side by side in rows is that a certain Number of nozzles can be aligned so that the out the gas jet escaping them directly in the direction of the side edge is inflated while a certain number of the remaining nozzles, for example in or against the conveying direction of the belt is aligned. Then in different Directions of colliding gas jet flows cause the gas jets to intensify under Swirling to a concentrated flow with high unite kinetic energy. It is also possible Rows of nozzles with different orientations combine with each other to create a cheap To achieve flow development.
- Outlet nozzle can also be designed as a flat jet nozzle.
- the Volume flow for example, beginning with the middle of the band linear to the side edge of the tape.
- the against the gas jet emerging from the flat jet nozzle the tape should be directed that when using two oppositely arranged flat jet nozzles gas jets emerging from them into a volume flow of also high kinetic energy.
- the outlet nozzles can be in the area of the outlet nozzles at least one guide device for deflecting the Gas jet can be arranged in the desired direction.
- the guide device such is formed that a partial flow of the Exit nozzle emerging gas jet in the direction of a side edge of the tape flows while the other partial flow towards the other edge of the Band flows, and if both edges of the Band is assigned a suction opening. On this can be the case with accumulations occurring on both sides of liquid across the entire surface of the belt Spread evenly of liquid adhering to it be freed.
- To support the side flow of the gas jet can also a direct supply of the gas jet in between outflow channel formed in the outlet nozzles. This can be achieved, for example, in that at least one more between the outlet nozzles, especially in the middle between the lateral edges of the Band positioned outlet opening is arranged over which a substantially transverse to the conveying direction of the Tape directed gas jet onto the tape surface meets.
- the versatility of the device according to the invention can also be enlarged in that the outlet nozzles in a nozzle body are formed, which is detachable in a Recess of a housing element is held, and that in the recess alternatively to the nozzle body this is essentially vertical to the surface of the belt movable seal carrier carrying a wiper seal can be used, which with the pressure of the gas jet is acted upon.
- two such nozzles can also be used be favorable, an outlet nozzle with a corresponding Combine wiper seal.
- the inventive device for removing Liquid from the top and bottom surfaces O ', O' ' one funded from a roll stand, not shown Band B has a housing 1, the housing halves 1a, 1b based on the band B mirror-symmetrical are, the upper housing half 1a of the upper Band surface O 'and the lower half 1b of the lower band surface O '' is assigned.
- the housing halves 1a, 1b are laterally over the edges R of volume B. They each assign a first Outlet nozzle 2, each one above or arranged below the band B, the housing halves 1a, 1b upstream in the conveying direction F of the belt Squeeze roller 3 are assigned.
- a second outlet nozzle 4 is formed in the housing halves 1a, b, respectively a second outlet nozzle 4 is formed.
- a third Outlet nozzle 5 is in each of the Squeeze rollers 3 facing away from the edge area Housing halves 1a, 1b arranged.
- Exemplary embodiments are the outlet nozzles 2, 4, 5 each than over the width of the respective housing half 1a, 1b extending flat jet nozzles.
- the flat jet nozzle 2 is in each case against the Pinch rolls 3 directed that on the belt surfaces O ', O' 'sticking liquid through the from the Outlet nozzles 2 emerging gas jet G1, an air jet, for example, into the squeezing gap 6 is blown.
- an air jet for example, into the squeezing gap 6 is blown.
- the gas jet G1 acts outside of respective edge areas in the direction of the squeezing gap 6 directed as a barrier jet for the liquid on the Belt surfaces O ', O' '.
- the second flat jet nozzle 4 is directed in the conveying direction F of the belt B, while the third flat jet nozzle 5 against the conveying direction F is aligned.
- a suction opening 8a of a suction channel 8 is arranged, the to a suction device, not shown connected.
- each outlet nozzle 9 has an approximately groove-shaped, in the direction of the tape funnel-shaped widening outlet opening 9a long axis is transverse to the conveying direction F of the belt B extends. In this way, the gas jet Gz flows emerges under pressure from the outlet nozzle 9, in two Streams Gzl and Gzr directly to the left or . right edge R of volume B.
- the outlet nozzles 2, 4, 5, 9 are via connecting channels 10 with a central gas supply device, not shown connected via which the gas flow G below Pressure is fed into the connecting channels 10.
- FIG. 4b differs from the above explained in that there instead of outlet nozzles 4.5, each as Flat jet nozzles are designed, a variety of Slot nozzles 12 is used, the angular in Direction of the respective edge R aligned and symmetrical to the center M of the band B in a row are arranged side by side.
- the width of the Outlet openings of the slot nozzles 12 is relative low. This alignment of the slot nozzles 12 is ensured that the one emerging from them Gas jet G12 onto the one from the opposite Slit nozzles emerging gas jets G12 meet and meet with this to a lateral flow S2 below Whirling and entrainment of those adhering to the tape Liquid united.
- This also includes training this side flow S2 through the gas jets Gzl and Gzr supports that from the centrally located, emerge additional outlet nozzle 9.
- Fig. 5a flows from a first at least across the width of the Band B extending slot jet nozzle 13 a gas jet G13 in a direction of conveyance F of the belt B. Flow to band B. At the same time flows out of one
- the conveying direction F is spaced apart from the slit jet nozzle 13 arranged slot jet nozzle 14 against the Direction of delivery F directed gas jet G14.
- Jet nozzles 15, 16 are arranged, each of which is a directly aligned with the respective edge R.
- Gas jet G15, G16 emerges.
- the gas jets G15, G16 mix because of the different Mass impulses of the individual currents below Vortex formation with those from the slot nozzles 13, 14 escaping gas jets G13, G14 to one against the respective edge R directed side flow S2.
- Embodiment are in the embodiment according to Fig. 5c emerging from the jet nozzles 17,18 Gas jets G17 ', G18' not directly in or against the Direction of conveyance F of the belt B. Instead the gas jets G17 ', G18' flow in one at a time other edge R directed flow from the jet nozzles G17, G18 and meet against each other next adjacent edge R directed gas jets G15, G16. This leads to an even stronger one Vortex formation, which in turn causes the nebulization to the band accumulated liquid is favored.
- FIG. 4 Outlet nozzle 4 corresponding outlet nozzle 19 in one Nozzle body 20 formed.
- the nozzle body 20 is in a rail-like, spanning the width of each Housing half 1a, 1b extending recess 21 inserted and held releasably in this.
- Lip scraper 22 provided by a Seal body 23 is worn.
- the sealing body 23 is also detachable in a recess 24 respective housing half held so that it can be used if necessary against one designed in the manner of the nozzle body 20 Nozzle body can be replaced.
- the Sealing body 24 one against the depth T of Recess lower height H, so that the Sealing body 24, guided through the side walls of the Recess 24 can move in this.
