Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a spin bowl mounted in a central position on a bucket with two basins.
  • the U.S. Patent No. 5 611 104 is an advanced system of cleaning a floor with a mop that does not have the disadvantages of the system described. However, it has the disadvantage of needing three adjacent buckets, one bucket for water containing detergent, a bucket for clear water to rinse the floor and between the two buckets a third bucket to rinse the mop and carrying the means for wring it out to remove detergent water or clear water or water to rinse the swab.
  • the sequence of the different movements of the mop to follow during the cleaning becomes complicated.
  • the U.S. Patent No. 3 280 414 is an example of a bucket for two compartments which has just been described, but the mop wringing bowl is suspended from the central partition and hangs in one of the basins.
  • This system has the disadvantage described in the previous paragraph and especially that the basin spin is very poorly accessible to the mop.
  • the object of the present invention is to provide a practical and safe system without disadvantage for cleaning floors or other surfaces using a mop, giving to this mop the possibility of being able to have access to the two basins of the bucket.
  • the object of the invention is favorably achieved.
  • Adopting the central position of the spin bowl advantageously provided of a screen, in combination with a partition dividing the pools shaped in a way or, depending on a variant, a spin basin whose lateral screen forms a single piece with a lower pipe appendage, in combination with a bulkhead flat separation, allows, keeping the detergent liquid and the rinsing liquid separate, which you can always access without having to move the bowl, to channel the water spin to and in only one of the two basins.
  • Figure 1 is a perspective view, taken from above, of a bucket 1 having two basins 13 and 14 separated by a partition 2 which has, in its central part, a semi-circular handle which makes it possible to receive, in the central position, a spin bowl resting on the edges 4 of the bucket 1.
  • Perforated ears 3 allow the coupling of extreme nipples of a pair of handles 10.
  • FIG. 2 is a plan view of the bucket 1 comprising the two separate basins 13 and 14 by the partition 2. We see in this figure the upper outer edge 4 and the two pairs of ears 3 symmetrical, perforated, for engaging the nipples of a pair of handles 10.
  • FIG 3 is a sectional view of the bucket 1 taken along line A-A of Figure 2. We see in this figure the upper edge 4.
  • FIG 4 is a sectional view, taken along line B-B of Figure 2, of the bucket 1 comprising the two basins 13 and 14 separated by the shaped partition 2.
  • FIG. 5 is a perspective view, taken from the top, of a spin basin 7 for a floor mop, this bowl being connected, by means of flat surfaces and a frustoconical surface 5, reinforced by a series of ribs, with U-shaped profiles inverted 6 intended to support the bowl 7 on the edges 4 of the bucket. It should be noted that the surface of the bowl 7 is perforated over its entire side wall and bottom, to allow a easy drainage of the wiping water from the mop pressed against the side wall and the bottom of the bowl.
  • Figure 6 is a plan view of the bowl 7 for spinning a mop, this bowl being connected, by means of structure 5 (flat surfaces and frustoconical surface) to the two profiles 6 in the shape of an inverted U arranged symmetrically on the two lateral ends.
  • Figure 7 is a sectional view, taken along line B-B of Figure 6, of the bowl 7 of wringing out a mop, bowl which is connected, by means of flat surfaces which appear, in the figure, connect to the inverted U profiles 6, and a frustoconical surface 5 which appears in the figure, connect to the upper edge of the bowl 7, to the profiles 6 in the form of U inverted.
  • These profiles 6 are intended for snap fitting of the bowl 7 on the edges 4 from bucket 1.
  • Figure 8 is a sectional view, taken along line A-A of Figure 6, of the bowl spinning a mop.
  • This figure shows the frustoconical surface 5 ensuring the connection of the bowl 7 and we can see in this figure how the surface 5 is connected to the bowl wring 7.
  • FIG. 9 is a perspective view, taken from the top, of a screen cap 8, in funnel-shaped, which, by surrounding the perforated surface of the wringing bowl 7, prevents the spin water does not spray out far, collecting it and channeling it towards its lower opening. Centering fins 9, symmetrically spaced near the lower opening, cause the screen cap 8 to take a position coaxial with that of the bowl wring 7. This screen cap 8 can be easily separated from the bowl 7 in order to allow easy cleaning of various parts of the bowl.
  • FIG. 10 is a plan view of the cap forming a screen 8. This figure shows the symmetrical arrangement of the centering fins 9.
  • Figure 11 is a sectional view, taken along line A-A of Figure 10, of the cap 8.
  • a small gripping bead 15 which is formed on the upper edge of the cap to allow easy nesting and dislocation of the spin bowl 7.
  • Figure 12 shows in section the cap forming a screen 8 and the spin bowl 7 nested one inside the other, each of them being intended to assume its own function.
  • the fins 9 of the screen cap 8 cause this cap to assume a position coaxial and symmetrically spaced from the perforated surface of the bowl 7, thereby allowing the spin water coming out of the holes on the side surface of the bowl, to be collected by the inner surface of the cap 8 and to be forced to exit from its lower opening.
  • FIG. 13 is a perspective view, taken from the top, of the bucket 1 with two basins 13 and 14 separated by the shaped partition 2.
  • FIG. 14 is a perspective view of the bucket 1 provided with the pair of handles 10 and whose basins 13 and 14 are delimited by the shaped partition 2.
  • the profiles 6 in the shape of an inverted U which support, by means of the flat surfaces and of a frustoconical surface 5, provided with appropriate ribs, the wringing bowl 7.
  • the top of the shaped partition 2 may be at a higher level compared to the lower part of the bowl 7 which makes it possible to obtain a more large capacity of bucket 1 and simultaneously avoid possible mixing of liquids from both tanks during the bucket transport phase.
  • the screen cap 8 prevents dirty spin water from being able to flow, during the own spin phase, into the basin 13, and this by channeling it, to through its lower opening, only in the basin 14.
  • Figures 15 and 16 show in perspective, respectively from below and from on the side, the spinning bowl 7 with its perforated wiping surface highlighted.
  • Figure 17 is a perspective view of a cap forming a screen 11 collecting water wringing and surrounding the perforated surface of the wringing bowl 7, this cap being provided, at its lower part, of an appendage or "tile" 12 of almost hemispherical shape for the draining water in a single basin, again using a bucket 1 to two basins with a flat partition wall 2 arranged in the central part.
  • FIG. 18 is a plan view of the screen cap 11 provided with the appendix lower 12 channeling the spin water.
  • Figure 19 is a sectional view, taken along line C-C of Figure 18, of the cap forming a screen 11 which is provided with fins for centering and spacing the perforated surface of the wringing bowl 7, and which is further provided with the lower appendage 12 channeling the water Spin.
  • This appendage 12 having an almost hemispherical shape, ends with its edge lower located beyond the axis of symmetry, which allows the use of buckets with two basins with a flat partition wall.
  • This screen cap 11 also allows, if done rotate 180 ° around its central axis, to channel the spin water towards one or other of the two basins.
  • FIG 20 is a perspective view of the bucket 1, comprising the two basins 13 and 14 with an unshaped partition wall 2, seen in cross section, and the edges of which upper supports, in their central parts, the profiles 6 in the shape of an inverted U which in turn support, through the structure 5, the spin bowl 7.
  • the surface perforated with the wringing bowl 7 is surrounded on the outside by the screen cap 11 which collects the spin water and channels it, by means of the lower appendage 12, into the basin 14; a 180 ° rotation of the cap 11 around its central axis makes it possible to channel the water of spin, still by means of the lower appendage 12, in the basin 13.
  • the present invention allows perfect cleaning, easy access of the mop to the two basins, an energetic and safe spin of the mop, a clear distinction of the different cleaning fluids and high exploitation of bucket capacity.
