Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a dirty water inlet with a grate, a leaf retention basin arranged under the grating and one with a drain provided container in which a float-controlled one before the expiration Valve is arranged, which closes the drain when the one in the container Liquid is lighter than water.
A dirty water inlet of this type is known from the utility model DE-U-93 11 176. The well-known wastewater inlet serves for the drainage of Boiler rooms. It is provided with a permanently closed closure, the only opens when water runs in and remains closed when heating oil or another Liquid that is lighter than water runs into the container.
This well-known dirty water inlet is suitable for removing surface water Streets, squares, courtyards and the like unsuitable because of the container or the Drain housing has no storage volume and is therefore smaller when it is drained off Amounts of water would overflow and the float and the valve in the drain stream are arranged that by the turbulence occurring there a reliable Do not close the valve when inflowing gasoline, diesel oil or heating oil is expected.
To protect groundwater and surface water it is known in the Sewerage systems to be arranged in which light liquids such as petrol, Benzene, oil or diesel are separated from the water.
Despite these separation plants, considerable damage often occurs because For example, in the event of a collision of a tanker truck, oil or petrol into one Gully flows and from there through the sewers into the groundwater or streams and Flows. It should be noted that the sewage pipes are often not tight joined together and also not connected tightly to the inlet shaft of a gully are.
The present invention is based on the object a dirty water inlet for streets, squares or courtyards to create, in which the shortcomings described known waste water inlets are avoided and in which it is ensured that Oil and petrol do not get into the sewage system. The one to be created Dirty water inlet can be produced at low cost, can be installed quickly and be reliable.
This object is achieved in that the container by a separable floor is divided into an upper settling chamber and a lower one Collection chamber in which the drain inlet connected to the outlet with valve and floats are arranged and that the settling chamber via a downpipe with the Collection chamber is connected, the inlet opening is at a greater distance from the partition near the bottom of the deciduous retention basin and its outlet opening is below the drain.
With this device, a compact multi-chamber system is created in which one below the leaf retention basin and above the collecting chamber Sedimentation chamber in which the sludge in the wastewater settles can. It is also achieved in a small space that the path of the sewage from Inlet to drain is relatively long, and the float and the valve get in a calm zone of the outflow. It is achieved that incoming water, petrol or oil mixture is collected in the collection chamber, the lighter liquid is separated from the water and floats and the Drain inlet is closed when the water level in the collection chamber so has dropped far that the valve connected to the float on the drain inlet puts it on and closes it.
A drain of oil, petrol or the like into the sewage system is thereby prevented.
The drain is advantageously via a U-shaped, siphon-like elbow connected to the drain inlet closable by the valve. On the horizontal Drain inlet is a conical or spherical closing body, which at the same time also serves as a float. The weight of this closing body is so balanced that its specific weight is lighter than water but heavier than Oil, gasoline, benzene or the like. The level of the one provided with a sealing lip Drain inlet is slightly below the lowest point of the drain.
The float and closing body is essentially cylindrical Housing guided, which is tightly connected to the manifold below and in the upper Area breakthroughs through which the wastewater enters the guide housing flows.
It is expedient for one of the collecting chamber to be separated by a vertical partition Separated valve chamber in which the valve with the guide housing is housed this partition is an overflow opening, which the valve chamber with connects the collection chamber. In this way it is achieved that the valve in a calm zone. It is expedient between the overflow opening a coalescence filter is arranged in the partition and the valve, so that Oil droplets are filtered out of the waste water flowing through the filter, climb up and settle on the water level.
In a further embodiment of the invention it is proposed that the container slide is connected to the frame supporting the grating and the frame on a Concrete ring is supported so that those acting on the grate and the frame Forces are not transferred to the container. The container can advantageously are made from recycled polyethylene.

The
The
In the illustrated embodiment, the closing body of the

The
As shown in Fig. 6, the height of the
The operation of the dirty water inlet according to the invention is as follows.
