Definitions
- the invention relates to a dirty water inlet with a grate, a leaf retention basin arranged under the grating and one with a drain provided container in which a float-controlled one before the expiration Valve is arranged, which closes the drain when the one in the container Liquid is lighter than water.
- a dirty water inlet of this type is known from the utility model DE-U-93 11 176.
- the well-known wastewater inlet serves for the drainage of Boiler rooms. It is provided with a permanently closed closure, the only opens when water runs in and remains closed when heating oil or another Liquid that is lighter than water runs into the container.
- This well-known dirty water inlet is suitable for removing surface water Streets, squares, courtyards and the like unsuitable because of the container or the Drain housing has no storage volume and is therefore smaller when it is drained off Amounts of water would overflow and the float and the valve in the drain stream are arranged that by the turbulence occurring there a reliable Do not close the valve when inflowing gasoline, diesel oil or heating oil is expected.
- the present invention is based on the object a dirty water inlet for streets, squares or courtyards to create, in which the shortcomings described known waste water inlets are avoided and in which it is ensured that Oil and petrol do not get into the sewage system.
- the one to be created Dirty water inlet can be produced at low cost, can be installed quickly and be reliable.
- the container by a separable floor is divided into an upper settling chamber and a lower one Collection chamber in which the drain inlet connected to the outlet with valve and floats are arranged and that the settling chamber via a downpipe with the Collection chamber is connected, the inlet opening is at a greater distance from the partition near the bottom of the deciduous retention basin and its outlet opening is below the drain.
- a compact multi-chamber system is created in which one below the leaf retention basin and above the collecting chamber Sedimentation chamber in which the sludge in the wastewater settles can. It is also achieved in a small space that the path of the sewage from Inlet to drain is relatively long, and the float and the valve get in a calm zone of the outflow. It is achieved that incoming water, petrol or oil mixture is collected in the collection chamber, the lighter liquid is separated from the water and floats and the Drain inlet is closed when the water level in the collection chamber so has dropped far that the valve connected to the float on the drain inlet puts it on and closes it.
- a drain of oil, petrol or the like into the sewage system is thereby prevented.
- the drain is advantageously via a U-shaped, siphon-like elbow connected to the drain inlet closable by the valve.
- a conical or spherical closing body On the horizontal Drain inlet is a conical or spherical closing body, which at the same time also serves as a float.
- the weight of this closing body is so balanced that its specific weight is lighter than water but heavier than Oil, gasoline, benzene or the like.
- the level of the one provided with a sealing lip Drain inlet is slightly below the lowest point of the drain.
- the float and closing body is essentially cylindrical Housing guided, which is tightly connected to the manifold below and in the upper Area breakthroughs through which the wastewater enters the guide housing flows.
- one of the collecting chamber prefferably separated by a vertical partition Separated valve chamber in which the valve with the guide housing is housed this partition is an overflow opening, which the valve chamber with connects the collection chamber. In this way it is achieved that the valve in a calm zone. It is expedient between the overflow opening a coalescence filter is arranged in the partition and the valve, so that Oil droplets are filtered out of the waste water flowing through the filter, climb up and settle on the water level.
- the container slide is connected to the frame supporting the grating and the frame on a Concrete ring is supported so that those acting on the grate and the frame Forces are not transferred to the container.
- the container can advantageously are made from recycled polyethylene.
- the dirty water inlet 1 is for streets, courtyards, squares and channels or trenches along highways. It has a frame 2, which of a concrete ring 29 is worn. The opening surrounded by frame 2 is covered by a grating 3. In the frame 2, brackets 9 are attached, on the the upper edge of the deciduous retention basin 4 settles.
- the frame 2 has one collar 22 which extends from the upper edge region of a container 5 is overlapped. The cross section of the collar 22 corresponds to the inside width of the Container 5.
- the container 5 is against the collar 22 via two seals 23 sealed.
- the sealing rings 23 are located in annular grooves which are in the outside of the Collar 22 or the inside of the container 5 are attached. In this way Forces that act on the grating 3 and the frame 2 can not on the Container 5 are transferred, since this is vertically displaceable with the collar 22 the concrete ring 29 supported frame 2 is connected.
- the outlet 6 of the container 5 is via a bend acting as a siphon 7 with the Container 5 connected.
- the manifold 7 has a horizontal drain inlet 8 from Closing body of a valve 10 is closable.
- the closing body of the valve 10 at the same time the float, which closes or opens the drain inlet 8.
- This floating and closing body 10 is lighter than water, so that it - like the Fig. 6 shows - floating on the water and thus opening the drain inlet 8. But will the conical or spherical floating and closing body 10 is surrounded by a liquid which lighter than water, this body sinks deeper into the fluid level and thus closes the drain inlet 8. A reliable and sealing system of the floating and closing body 10 is ensured, the upper edge of the U-shaped Krümers 7 provided with an elastic sealing lip.
- the valve formed by the drain inlet 8 and the floating and closing body 10 is located within a cylindrical guide housing 21 which the floating and Closing body moves vertically and its wall with openings is provided so that the waste water or the liquid to be retained in can flow into the guide housing.
- the container 5 is divided by an extractable partition 11 into an upper one Settling chamber 12 and a lower collecting chamber 13.
- Settling chamber 12 is over a down pipe 14 is connected to the collection chamber 13.
- the inlet opening 15 of the Downpipe 14 is located at a greater distance from the partition 11 near the Bottom of the leaf retention basin 4.
- the outlet opening 16 of the downpipe 14 is located itself below the sequence 6. In this way - as shown in FIG. 6 - a Sedimentation tank 12 created, in which the sludge in the wastewater can discontinue.
- Handle 28 on the partition 11 serve to better touch the partition 11 and can move.
- the height of the drain 6 is chosen so that the level of the Collection basin 13 and the water in the valve and filter chamber 18 Floats and closing body lifts and the drain inlet 8 opens. But would instead of water there is a lighter liquid in the valve and filter chamber 18, then the floating and closing body 10 sits on the one with an elastic Seal provided edge of the drain inlet 8 and closes this inlet.
- the operation of the dirty water inlet according to the invention is as follows.
- the wastewater flows through the grating into the deciduous retention basin 4.
- the wastewater freed from the sludge arrives then over the trailing edge 15 of the downpipe 14 into the collecting chamber 13 a calming of the flowing medium takes place.
- the rest of the suspended particles sink continue from, so that only water and the oils or fuels contained therein by the Overflow opening 19 in the partition 17 get into the valve and filter chamber 18.
- the liquids, which are lighter than water, collect above the water level. This oil can not enter the drain inlet 8 because of the floating and Closing body of the valve 10 immediately sits on this drain inlet 8 when it surrounded by a liquid that is lighter than water.
- a coalescence filter 20 is arranged, which is small from the flowing wastewater and filters out the smallest oil or gasoline droplets and turns them into larger droplets united, which then rise up to the one floating there on the wastewater Oil layer. If larger amounts of oil get behind the coalescence filter, then press this the water located under the oil layer through the drain inlet 8 until the Floating and closing body is only in the oil or fuel and thereby sinking and closes the drain inlet 8.
- the grate 3 is lifted off and that Leaf trap 4 sucked out and then lifted out of the inlet shaft.
- the sedimentation basin 12 can now be sucked out and then pivoted of the partition 11 are raised by a few degrees of the partition 11, so that also the collection chamber 13 and the valve and filter chamber 18 are sucked out and can be cleaned.
- the wall-shaped coalescence filter 20 can go up be pulled out and cleaned or replaced with a water jet become.
- the valve 10 is also accessible from above and its parts can be cleaned become.
