Definitions
- the invention relates to an interception device for interception a shielded cable and to contact its shield, the interception device being an electrically conductive Interception housing includes, the inwardly projecting claws for contacting the shielding of the cable, and a Connection device for connecting a cable to a electrical circuit using the interceptor.
- EP 0 062 760 A1 describes a connector for a cable known of an outer sleeve with a constrictable first Section for attachment to the exposed shield of the Cable, a second section for receiving and fastening an insert part and a third section for enclosing one coaxially protruding from the insert Has plug part.
- the outer sleeve faces in its rear Area adjacent to the first section enlarged in diameter compared to the first section, constrictable fourth area on that on the outer jacket the cable can be clamped.
- an electrical connector for Connecting a cable known, in which two clamps for Connection of the connector with the shielding of the cable respectively the conductor of the cable are provided.
- the one of the two clamps used to contact the shield has claw-like projections, which from a side wall the ferrule are formed and related to the Extend the clamp inwards.
- the two claws lie opposite each other and are due to the insulating outer jacket of the cable pushed so that they are in contact come with the shield when the ferrule is pressed on the cable becomes.
- This connector can be connected to aligned outer conductor or the shielding of the Cable are made without the shield exposed must become.
- this connector Because of the special design of this connector it is not so important whether the clamp is more or less far from the front end of the outer jacket of the cable is removed as long as the front ends of the two plugs are at the same height. The assembly of this connector therefore requires a certain skill and a special one Crimping tool to ensure proper assembly.
- the invention is based on the object, a Interception device to intercept a cable and to make contact its shielding and a connection device for to provide a cable which saves on assembly effort, especially assembly time and tool effort, simple is to be assembled, including precise positioning the cable in the collecting device should be guaranteed.
- the individual parts of the device should be inexpensive to be manufactured.
- the interception device mentioned at the outset is to solve this problem characterized in that the interception housing an end wall with a recess for the ladder or ladders of the cable and wall elements protruding from the front wall has, of which at least a part each one Claw carries, and that a socket with a mouth for insertion and anchoring the interception housing is provided.
- the interception housing can use the claws using a tool, for example combination pliers, easily pressed into the outer sheath of the cable, and the interception housing can be inserted into the socket like a plug with the claws fully into the cable be pressed so that there is contact between the socket the interception housing to the shielding of the cable becomes.
- the interception housing can be simply over the Cable pushed and inserted into the socket, whereby the claws are pressed into the cable, making a contact for the shielding of the cable. It can be seen that with this arrangement easy assembly of the Interception housing on the cable is possible, and that that the interception housing is inserted into the socket like a plug secure positioning and interception of the Cable is made possible.
- the cable is also in the interception housing positioned more precisely because the cable with its front End at the inside of the front wall.
- the end wall has a polygonal base on, and the wall elements each extend over a straight line section of the polygonal base.
- the polygonal base is preferably a rectangular, in particular a square base. It can Interception housing unfolded from a simple blank by placing the wall elements around their connecting line the front wall to be unfolded.
- An advantageous embodiment of the interception housing according to the invention is characterized in that at least part of the wall elements running outwards before assembly Have wall sections on which the claws are provided are.
- the cable can be inserted into the interception housing be without the claws disturbing and the claws a sufficiently long way to get them through the Press the outer sheath of the cable into the shield.
- Interception device is characterized in that the wall elements from the end face, first in a first section roughly parallel to the central axis of the interception housing, then in a second section at an obtuse angle outwards and then in a third section again roughly run parallel to the central axis of the interception housing, and that in particular a fourth section of the wall element in turn runs outward at an obtuse angle.
- the claw is on the Transition from the third to the fourth section of the wall element.
- Interception device is characterized in that at least a wall element a barb for anchoring the Interception housing is provided in the socket. So that is ensures that the interception housing is not inadvertently can be removed from the socket.
- Interception device is characterized in that the interception housing what is formed in one piece from a sheet metal blank manufacturing costs reduced to a minimum.
- the socket has an electrically conductive contact part, the contact to the interception housing and continues the shielding.
- the socket is advantageously made of an electrical conductive material formed. So that is a continuous Shield from the shielding of the cable over the Interception housing to the socket ensured. By a suitable one The shield can then be assembled into a device by mounting the socket or another cable.
- An advantageous embodiment of the interception device according to the invention is characterized in that the internal dimensions the mouth of the socket the external dimensions of the Interception housing corresponds. Because the interception housing is complete is received in the socket, it is ensured that the Claws penetrate deep enough into the cable and thus one Make contact with the shield.
- Interception device is characterized in that the socket has a stop that the insertion of the interception housing limited what for the positioning of the cable respectively of the conductor or the conductor of the cable is advantageous.
- Interception housing is characterized in that the socket has at least one stop behind which the or grab the barbs of the interception housing.
- the interception housing is thus captive in an advantageous manner Socket added.
- Interception device is characterized in that the socket two openings for the interception housing and one electrically conductive Has connecting element in the socket by a insulating fastener is stored and the electrical Connection between the conductors of in the interception housing arranged cables forms. This can be advantageous for two cables be connected to each other.
- Interception device is characterized in that the connecting element a stick with a spike at each end, two Spring elements with contact springs at each end or a rod with a mandrel on one end and two contact springs on the other End.
- the connecting element a stick with a spike at each end, two Spring elements with contact springs at each end or a rod with a mandrel on one end and two contact springs on the other End.
- a connection device for connecting a Cable, the conductor of which is a wire, with an electrical Circuit using an interceptor of the above described type, is characterized in that at the Circuit contact springs are provided on the wire attack.
- connection device for connecting a Cable, whose inner conductor has a strand, with a electrical circuit using a connector of the type described above is characterized that a spike is provided on the circuit, which in the Wire engages.
- connection device it is advantageous that it Connection of a cable to a circuit in a simple manner enables, while achieving all the advantages that are in the Connection with the interception device have been described.
- Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of a first Embodiment of the interception housing 2 with the wall elements 4, 6, 8, 10 and an end wall 12 with a recess 14 for the conductor of a coaxial cable or the conductor of a shielded cable.
