Definitions
- Balance restoration body is a propellant, such as a pontoon, with which the Buoyancy of the device is significantly increased.
- Such a device is in the prior art known; as an example the dredger "Merwede 28" is the To mention the applicant, which has been in motion since 1968.
- the raw material being conveyed is sorted in this device and in fractions with different grain sizes Cut. These separate fractions will be on board the Device stored in silos and dosed from the dispensed relevant storage containers to a sand mixture with a certain desired grain size distribution form which mixture is then attached to a cargo ship can be delivered.
- the silos are not all made of the same raw material Weight to be filled, so that the weight distribution Board the ship at the location of the storage containers is uneven. This is reinforced by the fact that Making a sand mix with a specific one Composition, often more from a certain fraction is needed as from another fraction, so that from the relevant storage containers a different Quantity of material with associated different weight will be delivered.
- the Device with an uneven filling of the Storage container can get out of balance and or can tilt in the longitudinal direction. This tendency is very disadvantageous for such a device because certain Grain separation techniques on board such Applied, work optimally when the Device is aligned horizontally. In this The separation techniques can be related using Upstream separators and seven are mentioned.
- This invention is based on the above-mentioned object Improve device and will do so characterized in that the storage container and the Balance restoration body in such a way relative are provided to each other in the device that the common focus of the contents of the storage containers any loading of the storage containers at a distance of a transverse surface, which is through the point of application of the Upward force on the device even when empty Storage containers runs, which distance is less than the distance of each point of attack of the upward force the balance restoration bodies up to the aforementioned Transverse area, with the stated focus of the content of the Storage containers and the points of attack of the upward force the balance restoration bodies on the same side of the area mentioned.
- Positioning the balance restoration bodies to the Storage containers can be one of those in the storage containers different amounts of material Tilt is essentially avoided.
- the Transverse area through the point of application of the upward force on the The device is basically perpendicular to the longitudinal axis the device.
- One inclination to the other longitudinal side is characterized by the buoyancy of the Device on the other side of the above-mentioned transverse surface prevented.
- At least one of them is advantageous Balance recovery body at such a distance from called transverse surface of the device that the rest free length of the long side of the device, on the named Balance recovery body is attached to this Longitudinal mooring of a cargo ship with a Sufficient loading capacity of 200 - 3000 tons or more is.
- the cargo ships on the European inland waters have usually a dimension of about 80 meters in length and 10 Meters wide.
- the Balance restoration body preferably in such Arranged in such a way that said free length of one long side is at least 40 meters.
- the invention corresponds to or exceeds at least one of the widths Balance restoration body at least locally Width of the to be applied on this side of the device Cargo ships.
- the person concerned Balance recovery body is dimensioned such the free long side of the Balance restoration body, i.e. the long side, which is not attached to the driving device as additional berth for a cargo ship available.
- the Balance recovery body on both sides of the driving device executed in this way. This embodiment is based on a figure in the following explained in more detail.
- the balance restoration bodies are at Use of the device with a rigid coupling on the Device connected.
- the balance restoration body part of the driving device for example by forming the Balance restoration body as part of the space of the Device run.
- the desired one balance restoring performance can be adjusted by the distance between the device and the Balance recovery bodies chosen in a suitable manner to obtain the desired moment of force.
- the balance restoration bodies can also be used in a low loading of the storage container or the storage container partially filled with water if necessary and at a increasing loads are emptied accordingly.
- the driving device is generally designated A, whose longitudinal axis is indicated by L.
- M represents the Transverse area of the point of attack 16 of the outward force on the Device with unloaded storage containers 3 represents Device A includes one with a suction dredger coupling inlet 1 for conveying a raw material to Example sand and / or gravel from a river bottom or from a sand pit.
- 2 are the schematic Separation devices are shown that the raw material in separate individual material fractions, after which this material is stored in storage containers 3A-3D.
- At a even loading of the storage container is the Center of gravity of the load at 10.
- the dimensions of the Storage containers are not for the present invention important. In this context, even smaller ones Buffer spaces are meant, in which the fractions only one remain relatively short time, and which rooms no have a particularly large capacity.
- balance restoration bodies 7 and 8 Due to the illustrated positioning of the balance restoration bodies 7 and 8, four landing stages 6A-D are available for cargo ships.
- Two berths 6A, 6B are located at the location of the free length on the starboard or port side of the device, indicated by 4S or 4B.
- the free long sides 9 and 14 of the balance restoration body 7 and 8 respectively also form jetties 6C and 6D.
- the balance restoration bodies are slightly wider than the cargo ships that can dock at locations 6A and 6B. This enables the cargo ships, which are located at positions 6C and 6D, to be put on and taken off freely without any hindrance.
- the cargo ships at positions 6A and 6B are also not obstructed by cargo ships which may be moored at positions 6C and 6D.
- FIG. 2 shows a top view of a device according to the invention, in which the center of gravity 10 of the contents of the storage containers is shown, as well as the points of attack 11, 12 and 16 of the upward force on the balance restoration bodies 7, 8 and the device itself the contents of the storage containers exerted gravity R 1 , as well as the increases in the upward force on the device itself (R 2 ) and the balance restoration bodies 7 and 8 (R 3 and R 4 ) due to the weight of the contents of the storage containers.
- increase means the difference between the upward force with unloaded storage containers and that with loaded storage containers.
- the center of gravity 10 of the contents of the storage containers lies between storage containers 3B and 3C, which results in a downward resulting gravity R 1 .
- the weight distribution can vary between two extremes; in the one extreme case, this center of gravity will lie under the storage containers 3A at the location of 10A and result in a downward gravity R 1A . In the other extreme case, the focus of the contents of the storage containers under storage containers 3D, at the location of FIG. 10B, results in the resulting gravity R 1B .
- the distance from both focal points to the longitudinal axis L is preferably the same.
- the storage containers are surrounded by buoyancy, namely by both balance recovery bodies 7 and 8, and by the driving ability of the device itself, whatever their loading in a triangular shape. This ensures an optimal horizontal balance of the device receive.
