Definitions
- the invention relates to a shower device with a flexible and flat spray disc.
- a shower head is known from US Pat. No. 3,383,050 known, the one for adjusting the shower jets has flexible spray disc. By means of a central Screw the curvature can be varied.
- a similar Jet disc is described in DE-OS 2 235 217.
- a shower is known from the G 79 04 756, the one has elastically deformable spray disc. Through the The deformability of the spray disc can affect this in certain areas manually pressed in, causing annoying limescale deposits on their surfaces and in the area of through holes formed water passage channels are detached. Through a Pressing in the spray disc deforms it so far that Deposits can be loosened and washed away.
- Lime deposits have an adverse effect on the the optical impression of the shower the disadvantage that it Clogged water passages up to clogging, which the function of the shower may be severely restricted becomes. Furthermore, limescale and other deposits are unsanitary.
- This task is performed by a shower device with a flexible and flat spray disc solved at least a surface area of the spray disc is curved outwards and when a certain one is exercised on it Impression force abruptly with the bulge inwards jumps around a space behind and when the force is released jumps back to the starting position by itself.
- These jumps when the jet disc is deformed cause acceleration forces in addition to this deformation as well as a vibration of the jet disc.
- the peculiarity of the invention improves three factors a release of limescale or other deposits.
- the spray disc can vary in shape, especially in outline Limits can be designed arbitrarily.
- the at least one area can be pressed in with one finger be. This can happen, for example, while using the shower equipment happen so that dissolved lime or other Deposits of the shower water from the shower device be washed out.
- the surface of the spray disc in particular the at least one impressionable area, larger than one Be fingertip.
- a jet disc advantageously has a defined contact surface for applying a force, for example over Finger pressure, on.
- the contact surface is preferably smaller than the area and in particular has a diameter on that is slightly less than half the diameter of the Area.
- the contact surface can have any shape have, the surface centers preferably coinciding. Essentially circular are advantageous Viewed designs.
- a Jet disc with at least one material weakening in particular along a substantially closed line Mistake can spread over a width extend approximately in the range of the average thickness of the Spray disc lies. It can be done in different ways be.
- the wall thickness of the material weakening is advantageous, especially a material thinning in one area between 10% and 60% of the mean thickness of the spray disc, preferably about 30%. Such a weakening of materials enables a defined jumping around of the curved spray disc.
- the material weakening is preferably a film hinge educated.
- the shower device can have a solid component, outwardly weakening material, especially the spray disc. Preferably can it frame the spray disc. Around the spray disc This component can be particularly strong to give necessary strength be made torsionally rigid, for example by a Wall thickness that is significantly above the average thickness of the Spray disc lies.
- the structure of the shower device will simplified if the massive component directly to the Material weakening follows.
- the massive component serves as a kind of frame that both the jet disc and material weakening contains, as well as especially in their deformation forces occurring, in particular in approximately the radial direction occurring forces, absorbs without yielding.
- the spray disc is preferably with the massive component connectable or connected. Very cheap the two are made in one piece as a structural unit. The facilitates manufacture, assembly and handling.
- the solid component can be a cylindrical pipe section have, which can preferably be connected to a shower housing is. This is a one-piece design of the component regarded as particularly favorable with the pipe section.
- the Connection to the shower housing is for example via a Screw thread possible.
- the massive component can be one massive flange connected to the outside of the spray disc have, which can preferably be connected to the shower housing is. Such a flange improves the stability of the Component, especially across from the spray disc Push-in or push-back process emanating radial forces.
- the contact surface is preferably with a stiffener or the like. provided, in particular as a stiffening ring or stiffening rib can be formed.
- the stiffening favors the constant jumping and especially the automatic Jump back of a pressed-in spray disc. If the stiffening on the outside of the contact surface, especially as a rib, it can be used as a centering aid serve for a finger placed on the contact surface, so that the impression force is intuitive to that for the snap action optimal place.
- the contact surface can preferably have a diameter of approximately 5 mm to 15 mm, in particular about 10 mm. This Size range is particularly good for both intuitive Feel with your finger as well as to be sufficiently precise defined application of the impression force.
- the spray disc with an average wall thickness is advantageous in the range from 0.4 mm to 1 mm, especially with approx. 0.7 mm.
- Such a material thickness is used for preferably used plastics as sufficient Considered flexibility. It gives the spray disc one for use in a shower facility necessary strength. This means that the spray disc can be one of an unaware or careless user Resist force that is a multiple of preferably to The intended indentation force is.
- the material thickness of the material weakening can be preferred between 0.1 mm and 0.5 mm, in particular between 0.2 mm and 0.3 mm. So is a clear, on a low Limited decrease in the wall thickness of the material in the Area of material weakening compared to the rest Given spray disc with formation of the film hinge.
- the material is weakened executed as a perforation type of perforation, the Wall thickness in the area of the webs of the surrounding material between the holes approximately the material thickness of the spray disc correspond.
- the material weakening is advantageously designed in a ring shape. It can have a diameter of approximately 10 mm to 60 mm, with a diameter of about 20 mm to 40 mm as is viewed particularly favorably.
- the spray disc is made of plastic.

Its modulus of elasticity is between 800 N / mm 2 and 1600 N / mm 2 , preferably around 1200 N / mm 2 , and is considered to be advantageous for the configuration and use of the spray disc in a shower device.
- These plastics can be produced with a very smooth surface, which complicates the formation of deposits and facilitates their detachment by means of a snap-off process according to the invention. It is possible to manufacture the spray disc by injection molding.
- the flexibility of the spray disc is achieved by its design with a small wall thickness.
- the jet disc is constructed with a film hinge in the form of the material weakening, which encloses the at least one surface area that can be pressed in. This position can be changed along this film or ring hinge in relation to the rest of the shower device, in particular to the solid component.
- the spray disc can be rotationally symmetrical or be produced, wherein they prefer this rotational symmetry both in the starting position and in the maximum after keeps arched condition inside.
- the Rotational symmetry even during an intended Get indentation or springback.
- the spray disc at particularly preferred Embodiments not only suddenly, but created by this sudden change preferably cracking noise. This sound signals a user that the spray disc jumps around and Lime and other deposits can be blasted off. Consequently there is an acoustic feedback about the jumping process.
- Water passage channels for flowing through the shower device Water is preferred through holes within the Weakening of materials, especially within the contact surface, educated.
- the holes can be designed differently be, for example with different cross-sectional shapes or diameters. This way, the water in a variety of water jets are split up that depending on the design of the water passage channels are procured. Massage jets are also possible especially discontinuously with high exit speed emerge from the spray disc.
