  • the pivot angle appears to be quite limited by the insertion pins mentioned, so that the replacement of structural units is difficult for some installation conditions of the cooling module in the vehicle. Further state of the art emerges from the recently published DE 196 02 186 C1.
  • a support bracket is included, consisting of a horizontal bottom section (26) and an upright side wall (27).
  • the water cooler is attached to the side wall.
  • An upstream air conditioning condenser has in turn been attached directly to the water cooler.
  • the truss-like support bracket is large and requires a lot of material.
  • a prior art in accordance with the preamble of claim 1 has been described in JP-A-6-92150.
  • the elastic support disclosed there is probably intended for heavy vehicles. It requires four support points, two in the upper area and two in the lower area of the cooling module. If the air conditioning condenser has to be replaced when servicing, this is only possible if the water cooler is also removed.
  • the object of the invention consists in a cooling module which is to be very service-friendly in a space-saving design and which offers the possibility of replacing individual components without dismantling the entire module or adversely affecting the cooling circuits. Furthermore, the cooling module should be designed so that components can be added or omitted when using the same basic parts.
  • the left 2 and the right module carrier 3 in this exemplary embodiment are not designed with the same or mirror-image shape, because the special installation conditions of the vehicle and the cooling module 1 do not allow this.
  • the hook-like receptacles 20 are used to fasten the sealing strips 21.
  • the water cooler 5 is inserted with its support pin 6 into the lower carrier section 4, which has a V-shaped recess 15.

  • the capacitor 9 is assembled or disassembled in a similar manner, as shown in FIG. 5.
  • the screws 29 must be unscrewed from the bores 28 in order to be able to lift the capacitor out of the lower pockets 27 as well. If the screw connections described are considered disadvantageous in some cases, it is within the scope of the present invention if the screws 17; 29 is dispensed with and elastic clips or the like are used from the prior art.
