Abstract

Preßmantel für eine Preßvorrichtung zur Entwässerung einer Materialbahn in einem Preßspalt, insbesondere einer Papierbahn in einer Schuhpresse, welcher zumindest im Preßbereich mit Sacklöchern (1) zur Wasseraufnahme versehen ist, die in der dem Preßspalt zugewandten Oberfläche (2) des Preßmantels münden, wobei zur Verbesserung der Trocknungseigenschaften und zur Verhinderung eines hohen hydraulischen Druckes die Sacklöcher (1) an mindestens abschnittsweise in Bahnlaufrichtung (4) erstreckte Nuten (5) angeschlossen sind, und wobei die Länge der Nuten (5) in Bahnlaufrichtung (4) größer ist als die Preßspaltlänge.
