Definitions

  • the invention relates to a deposit lock for coupling shopping or baggage trolleys or the like to one another with a housing which can be attached to the shopping cart and has an insertion opening for a coupling member on one side and an insertion opening for a coin and / or a card on another side and in its interior has a holding device for fixing the coupling member and a receiving device for securely enclosing the inserted coin or card, as well as a release mechanism which releases the coupling member when the coin or card is inserted and releases the coin or card, when the coupling link is inserted.

  • a control part is moved during the insertion of the card or coin, which moves a locking bolt from a locking to an unlocked position.
  • the locking bolt is rotatable and connected to the control part in the form of a slide or carriage via a crank mechanism.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a deposit lock of the type mentioned at the outset which has a different structure which ensures reliable securing of the coupling member or of the inserted coin or card.
