Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method for the remediation of Concrete in which the damaged area is loosened by removal or unsustainable concrete components until they are reached a stable underground is exposed, the exposed Concrete surfaces moistened with water and then the damaged area with mineral renovation mortar is filled, which is then covered with a film becomes.
  • Such a method is, for example, from the magazine "beton”, 4/1979, pp. 133-136.
  • the first step is to remove loose or unsustainable materials Concrete components using chisels, electric hammers, High pressure water jets or mechanical milling. If reinforcement steel is exposed, it is common reinforcement steel by sandblasting make and then treat with an anti-rust paint. The bare steel on the opposite side and on the side areas where the reinforcing steel entering the concrete is usually not possible at all, as well as these areas are usually not complete can be covered with anti-corrosion paint. After this pretreatment, the exposed concrete surfaces the damaged area either moistened with water or a so-called adhesive bridge is spread. Then the damaged area is either mineral Mortar or with plastic mortar to the level the concrete surface, sometimes being the top one Layer of fine mortar is also applied.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of a method for the rehabilitation of concrete of the type mentioned at the beginning to show what a flawless and lasting Remediation of damaged areas in the concrete enables.
  • the invention is therefore based on the idea of largely protecting the renovation mortar from drying out during the hydration and curing. This is achieved by combining several measures.
  • the stable subsurface exposed as before by the removal of loose or unsustainable concrete components is made wet with water. After moistening the exposed concrete surfaces with water and, if necessary, applying a cement slurry as an adhesive bridge to the damaged area, the renovation mortar is applied with excess in and onto the damaged area, so that it is about 4 to 5 mm thick with a layer thickness of a few millimeters the level of the concrete surface protrudes.
  • the renovation mortar is also applied beyond the damaged area to the areas of the intact concrete surface adjacent to the damaged area in a width of a few centimeters and with a layer thickness of a few millimeters.
  • a bridge adhering to this is created between the renovation mortar filling the damaged area and the intact areas of the concrete surface, which bridges tear off the renovation mortar during the hydration and hardening in the border area between the subsurface and the renovation mortar prevented.
  • the renovation mortar layer protruding with a layer thickness of a few millimeters above the level of the concrete surface also delays the drying out of the renovation mortar underneath.
  • the entire outer surface of the renovation mortar is covered with a liquid film, which forms a closed, hardening protective film after it has been applied.
  • This protective film effectively prevents evaporation of the water during the setting and hardening phase of the renovation mortar and thus prevents cracking both on the surface and at the border areas between the substrate and the renovation mortar.
  • the inventive method and other advantageous Procedural measures are described below using the attached Drawing explained in more detail.
  • the drawing shows a section of a concrete component to be renovated during the implementation of the various process steps.
  • Levitated water is extracted using a so-called Levitation machine generated, as in Friedrich Hacheney "Levitated water in research and application", Dingfelder-Verlag, D-82346 Andechs, 2nd edition 1994, pp. 15-23, is described in more detail.
  • Levitated water shows one increased willingness to absorb substances.
  • numerous Experiments and observations show that levitated water colloidal solution conditions favored. It was determined, that when mixing mineral remediation mortar the bending tensile strength, especially on the basis of cement and the tensile strength increased considerably, that Shrinkage is reduced and the active and passive corrosion protection effect can be increased (see above, pp. 39 - 60).
  • cement slurry 6 is then used as a bonding agent applied to the cleaned surface 1 and also the reinforcing steel 2 twice with the cement slurry 6 brushed in, these cement slurries preferably is made up with levitated water. This will achieved a significant increase in the adhesive effect. Due to the alkali content of the cement, after some Months of rust still present on the reinforcement steel 2 reshaped or rudimentary, similar to this is the case with fresh concrete.
  • This renovation mortar 4 is in accordance with Figure 3 with excess introduced in and over the damaged area and that so that it is in the area of the damaged area with a layer thickness d of a few millimeters, e.g. up to 5 mm, over the plane E-E of the concrete surface 5 protrudes.
  • the renovation mortar must be applied so that also the areas adjacent to the damaged area in one Width b about 3 to 4 cm and about the same Layer thickness are covered.
