Definitions

  • the invention relates to a holder for attaching an accessory in the eaves area of a roof.
  • gutter brackets or formwork boards are attached as accessories. While gutter brackets are usually attached to the top of the rafters and have to be bent according to the roof pitch, formwork boards are usually nailed to the front of the rafters. The disadvantage here is that the distance between the fastening points depends on the distance between the rafters.
  • the object of the present invention is to provide a holder which, regardless of the rafter spacing, enables a quick assembly of an accessory with simple means.
  • the holder has an adapter and a longitudinal member that can be mounted parallel to the eaves on the roof substructure with couplings spaced apart in the longitudinal direction, a coupling element being provided on the adapter, which can be inserted into one of the couplings of the longitudinal member.
  • the side member can be several meters long and have numerous couplings a few centimeters apart. It is then possible to attach the side member to the roof substructure in one operation, for example by nailing it to rafters, without having to take into account the exact position of the adapter in the longitudinal direction of the eaves. Adapters can then be inserted into the desired positions in couplings.
  • the long beam is designed as an eaves ventilation profile. For this purpose, corresponding ventilation openings can be provided, which release the usual ventilation cross section.
  • a particularly advantageous embodiment of the holder is that the side member has a height of at least 70 mm. This height corresponds to the height of a counter batten and two additional roof battens, as are required in the eaves area to compensate for the height.
  • the side member can therefore be attached directly to rafters at their eaves-side ends, and the roof tiles of the eaves-side row can be placed directly on the side member.
  • the longitudinal member is advantageously designed as a hollow profile.
  • the side wall facing the eaves should be bent at right angles from the lower wall forming the base, and the side wall of the side member facing the ridge can run obliquely from the rear edge of the lower wall to the upper edge of the side wall of the side member facing the eaves, so that a triangular cross-sectional profile is created.
  • a narrow upper wall can be connected parallel to the lower wall for supporting the roof tiles, so that a trapezoidal cross-sectional profile is created.
  • the lower wall can protrude towards the ridge so that a strip is available for nailing the longitudinal member onto the roof substructure.

This protrudes above the upper edge of the side member and closes any remaining free areas below the brim of the roof tiles.
  • the bird protection grille can be designed, for example, as a comb-like plastic part that attaches to tabs the side wall of the side member facing the eaves is inserted.
  • the adapter can be attached to the side member in a desired plane, in particular in a vertical plane, regardless of the inclination of the side member if the adapter can be pivoted about a swivel axis running parallel to the eaves and can be fixed in the desired swivel position. This can be done, for example, by clamping a swivel bearing arranged in the swivel axis or by fastening it to the roof substructure.

  • the adapter is guided around its pivot axis if the boom is designed in the form of a circular arc segment in the side view, the center of which lies in the pivot axis.
  • Fixing the adapter to the side member is made easier if a receptacle for fixing the boom is provided on the side member for each coupling.

To this In this way it is possible to leave enough material in the area of the rows of holes for a stable execution of the boom, despite the very fine adjustment. For example, with three openings in the receptacle and three rows of holes offset in relation to one another, it is possible to provide one hole aligned with one of the openings for each angular degree.
