Definitions
- the invention relates to a lower bed for supporting mattresses, which has a multiplicity of support elements arranged flat, each a support plate for the mattress and at least contain a spring element carrying the platen and the are supported on strips, rods or tubular abutments.
- Such a lower bed is known from EP 0 653 174 A2.
- the support elements consist of molded parts made of elastic Plastic and are on the bottom with fasteners provided, by means of which they on flat grate slats Slatted frame can be removably attached. On your On the top, these support elements support the support plates. Around To be able to follow resiliently, the support elements must be one have a certain height, which results from the travel and the Remaining height of the sprung spring element is composed. This Overall height extends due to the attachment of the support elements on the slats from the slats upwards and leads to a significant total height of the lower bed together with the mattress on top.
- the invention was therefore the object of the support elements a shape to go that the overall height of the lower bed too allowed to decrease.
- the task is identified by the in the indicator the main claim mentioned features solved.
- the abutment outstanding height of the support elements significantly reduced. It can be reduced to almost the travel, so that the remaining height of the sprung spring elements completely located below the abutment.
- Spring elements in the form of deformable structures made of elastic plastic or of spring steel or foam body of appropriate compression hardness are preferred.
- the invention can also be realized, for example, with gas-filled or water-filled bellows.
- the spring elements project through the abutments, which are generally arranged in one plane, down between them.
- a spring element can pass between the two abutments, on which it is supported from the inside or from the outside.
- band spring-like structures can also be designed so that they pass partly between, partly outside of the abutments on which they are supported or that they are only arranged outside of the abutments on which they are supported.
- the support elements are advantageously fastened by Clip on or clip on the abutment. Especially at deformable structures made of elastic material clip-on or clip-on eyes can be easily molded onto them will. The support elements are then securely held on the one hand, but can also be easily replaced.
- the lower bed 1 has a frame 2 which is rectangular in plan from longitudinal and transverse bars 3 and 4. It is understood that this frame 2 of the Lower bed 1 can have a plurality of partial frames which can be pivoted relative to one another.
- Abutments extend in between the longitudinal bars 3 of the frame 2 or subframe Form of advantageously rigid rods 5 or tubes or strips.
- support elements are attached or attached in a manner described in more detail later which in the plan view of FIG. 1 only the support plates used to support the mattress 6 7 are visible.
- a support element 8 consists of a support plate 7 from a Spring element 9, which in the embodiment of FIG. 2 from a functionally bent Leaf spring 10 is made of steel or plastic.
- This leaf spring 10 is, for example, with screws 11 attached to the support plate 7 and runs in a fastening device in the form of two Eyes 12 from which they can be clipped or clamped onto two adjacent rods 5 is. Part of the leaf spring 10 and thus the spring element 9 extends between the two rods 5, on which the spring element rests, downwards.
- leaf spring 10 can also be curved in a different shape or from several Spring leaves can exist.
- the spring element could also be, for example, a helically bent spring wire be.
- further eyes 12 ′ can also be on the spring 10 be formed by means of which the spring elements 9 at different heights can be clipped into the rods 5. This allows the height of the support plates 7 can be selected differently.
- the leaf spring 10 springs downward and allows the support plate to drop into the dot-dash position.
- the spring element 9 ' consists of two wavy curved bands 13, 13' made of elastic plastic, which can also be fastened to the rods 5 by means of eyes 12.
- the straps 13, 13 ' can be connected to one another by webs 14 in order to support one another as they bounce. Stiffening webs 14 'between the bulges of the straps 13, 13' can be provided with separable weakenings, by cutting through which the flexibility of the spring elements 9 'can be increased.
- the spring element 9 'of FIG. 3 can advantageously be produced using the injection molding process.
- the support plates 7 could indeed be made narrower than the light one Distance between adjacent bars 5, so that a support plate 7th with full deflection could even step between the rods 5. Doing so but the mattress 6 rest on the unyielding rods 5, which is hard could penetrate. To avoid this, are - in the embodiment 3 - on the spring element 9 'under the support plate 7 elastic buffer 15th molded onto the rods 5 when the spring element is fully deflected put on and so both noise and hard hitting when riding prevent.
- the spring element 9 ′′ consists of a Block 16 of elastic foam, which rests in a U-shaped receptacle 17 and carries the receiving plate 7 on its upper side.
- the rods 5 'of the abutment bearing 17 for example upright elongated round.
- the foam block 16 When loading the support plate 7 according to FIG. 5, the foam block 16 deformed.
- the gap 18 between the unloaded Foam block 16 and the receptacle 17 can be dimensioned that the foam block with full suspension of the spring element 9 '' around the travel A fully fills the mount and be Resistance to deformation increases sharply, so that here too hard riding with full bounce is avoided.
- Shoulders 19 of the foam block 16 under the support plate 7, which can rest on the rods 5 with full deflection this effect will be reinforced.
- the spring characteristic of the spring elements can be in the embodiments 2 and 3 in particular by the width and the thickness of the leaf spring 10 or the bands 13, 13 'different can be selected - in the embodiment of FIGS. 4 and 5 by the cross-sectional area and / or by the compression hardness of the Material of the foam block 16.
- support elements 8 different hardness and / or height, the hardness the lower bed 1 and / or the height of its support plates 7 as a whole or in certain areas, for example in the shoulder area or in the lumbar region of a resting person and also in the transverse direction be adjusted according to needs or desires.
- This setting can also be replaced by the support elements 8 can be easily changed.
- the eyes 12 of the spring elements 9, 9 ', 9' 'must be designed in this way be that this is possible.
- a first embodiment 6 in which the support elements 8 in longitudinal and Transversely aligned in rows, this will in that the one eye has two spaced-apart sections 20, 20 'and the other eye has only one area 21, between the subareas of the other eye (an adjacent one Support element) can grip.
- the outer width of the spaced areas of one eye 12 can advantageously be so be chosen so that the eyes are adjacent to each other Support elements 8 the intended distance between the support plates 7 is observed.
- a support element 8 On a support element 8 is the Support plate removed to the top view of the spring element 9 '' to allow.
- the support elements 8 are opposite to each other in one direction staggered.
- the eyes 12 ' are attached in the middle and so wide that the eyes the support elements 8 abut each other in adjacent rows and by a lateral Prevent moving the support elements on the rods 5.
- FIGS. 6 and 7 there are also a large number of others Outlines of the platen possible and advantageous in some cases.
- 8 shows regular hexagonal support plates 7 ', Fig. 9 dumbbell-shaped support plates 7' '. Also trapezoidal, round, cruciform support plates can be used.
- 8 are the Spring elements 9 indicated by dashed lines, in Fig. 9 is only because of the better recognizability one support element 8 each with a longitudinal or transverse support plate 7, the spring element 9 shown.
- Fig. 10 shows an embodiment in which the consisting of foam blocks Spring elements 9 are connected to one another in their foot region.
- This contiguous Row of spring elements 9 ⁇ rests in a groove 22, which is again on two rods 5th superimposed.
- the eyes 12 of this channel must be interrupted again to the eye of the to allow adjacent gutter to rest on the same rod 5.
- At this Embodiment are only whole rows of support elements 9 ⁇ against those of other hardness or height interchangeable.
- the preferred manner of attachment shown in Fig. 1 is one Support element 8 with protrusion between the two bars 5 on which it is supported, shown again schematically.
- the invention is not based on this form of training limited.
- the eyes 12 of the spring element can the rods 5, between which this after reaching down also extends from outside.

Abstract
