Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Straßenkappe mit einem im wesentlichen hohlzylindrischen Rahmen, der an einer Stirnseite unter Bildung einer Schulter zu einem Ring aufgeweitet ist, und mit einem Deckel, der von dem Ring aufgenommen ist und auf der Schulter aufliegt.
Um in Fahrbahnen und Gehwegen unter der Erdoberfläche verlegte Absperreinrichtungen, Abzug- und Kontrollrohre von Gas- oder Wasserleitungen leicht zugänglich zu machen, werden Straßenkappen verwendet. Eine Straßenkappe besteht aus einem nahezu hohlzylindrischen - leicht kegelstumpfartigen - Rahmen, der an seinem einen - oberen - Ende ringförmig aufgeweitet ist und eine Schulter aufweist, sowie aus einem Deckel, der in den ringförmigen Teil eingelegt ist. Am entgegengesetzten Ende kann der Rahmen einen Flansch für die standfeste und auszugssichere Halterung in einer Fahrbahn oder einem Gehweg aufweisen. Straßenkappen sind Gegenstand mehrerer DIN-Normen (vgl. DIN 4055 bis 4059).
Straßenkappen bestehen in der Regel aus Grauguß. Bei ihnen ist u.a. die Passgenauigkeit zwischen Deckel und Rahmen gering, was zu dem bekannten "Klappern" des Deckels führt. Zur Vermeidung dieses "Klapperns" ist es bekannt, Straßenkappen aus Polyurethan-Schaum herzustellen (vgl. DE-U 81 25 409). Bei diesen Straßenkappen kann zwar der Deckel paßgenau in den Rahmen eingebracht werden; der Deckel klappert nicht in dem Rahmen. Der Ersatz von Straßenkappen aus Grauguß durch solche aus Polyurethan setzt aber den vollständigen Ausbau der Straßenkappe aus Grauguß voraus, die dann zu Schrott wird. Dies ist in zahlreichen Fällen ein nicht vertretbarer Aufwand. Um auch dem zu begegnen, ist es bekannt, nur den Bereich, in dem der Deckel in dem Rahmen aufliegt - Deckelsitz - oder einen den Deckel umgebenden Mantel aus Polyurethan herzustellen (vgl. DE-U 87 06 349). Dies beinhaltet jedoch den Nachteil, daß die Größe des Deckels von Anwendungsfall zu Anwendungsfall darauf abgestimmt werden muß, ob nur der Deckelsitz oder nur der Mantel oder beides aus Polyurethan hergestellt ist. Dadurch ist der konstruktive Aufwand erhöht. Schließlich ist es bekannt (vgl. EP-A-593 914), bei einem Straßenaufsatz, der einen Rahmen und ein Einlegeteil aufweist, die zusammenwirkenden Auflageflächen im Rahmen und im Einlegeteil vollflächig in einem durch Gießen in einer Dauerform aufgebrachten Belag aus einem dauerelastischen Elastomer zu beschichten.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine verbesserte Paßgenauigkeit zwischen Deckel und Rahmen zu schaffen, um auf diese Weise "Klappern" und Festrosten des Deckels zu verhindern, ohne den konstruktiven Aufwand wesentlich zu erhöhen. Gemäß der Erfindung wird diese Aufgabe dadurch gelöst, daß der im Wesentlichen als scheibenförmige Platte ausgeführte Deckel aus einem Kern aus Gusseisen besteht, welcher vollständig mit einer Beschichtung aus Kunststoff versehen ist.
Mit der Erfindung ist eine Straßenkappe geschaffen, mit deren Hilfe das "Klappern" wirksam verhindert ist. Darüber hinaus ist durch die Beschichtung mit Kunststoff, vorzugsweise Polyurethan, ein Festrosten sowie im Winter ein Festfrieren des Deckels in dem Rahmen wirksam verhindert. Durch die Verwendung eines Gußeisen-Kerns weist der Deckel die gleiche Stabilität auf, wie die bekannten Deckel ohne Ummantelung.
In weiterer Ausgestaltung der Erfindung ist in dem Deckel eine Aufnahme vorgesehen. Die Anordnung eines Bolzens in der Aufnahme ist möglich. Aufnahme und Bolzen ermöglichen es, den Deckel an dem Rahmen zu befestigen, so daß ein unbefugtes Herausnehmen des Deckels aus dem Rahmen erschwert ist.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung ist in der Zeichnung dargestellt und wird nachfolgend näher beschrieben. Es zeigen:

Die als Ausführungsbeispiel gewählte Straßenkappe findet Anwendung bei Unterflurhydranten nach DIN 4055. Sie weist einen Rahmen 1 auf, in den ein Deckel 2 eingelegt ist. Der Rahmen 1 besteht im Ausführungsbeispiel aus Grauguß. Es ist möglich, den Rahmen 1 aus Polyurethan herzustellen oder ihn zu beschichten.
Der Rahmen 1 weist ein im wesentlichen hohlzylindrisches, leicht konisches Mittelteil 11 auf. An der einen Stirnseite des Rahmens 1 ist an das Mittelteil 11 unter Bildung einer Schulter 12 ein Ring 13 angeformt. Auf der Schulter 12 liegt der Deckel 2 auf. Gegenüber der Schulter 12 in Axialrichtung nach innen versetzt ist an der Innenwandung des Mittelteils 11 ein in den Hohlraum ragender Steg 14 angeformt. In dem Steg 14 ist eine Durchgangsbohrung 17 vorgesehen. Auf der dem Ring 13 abgewandten Stirnseite geht das Mittelteil 11 in einen Flansch 15 über.
Der Deckel 2 ist im wesentlichen als scheibenförmige Platte 21 ausgeführt. Ihre äußere Oberfläche 22 liegt bündig mit der Stirnfläche 16 des Rings 13. Für die Auflage auf die Schulter 12 und zur Stabilisierung weist der Deckel 2 einen Kragen 23 auf. Es ist möglich, auf der Innenseite des Deckels 2 Verstärkungsrippen vorzusehen. Der Deckel 2 weist mittig eine Vertiefung 24 für die Aufnahme von Betätigungs- und Halteorganen auf. In dem Deckel ist aus der Mitte versetzt eine Durchgangsbohrung 25 vorgesehen, die als Aufnahme für einen Bolzen 3 dient. Die Bohrung 25 ist zu der in dem Steg 14 vorgesehenen Durchgangsbohrung 17 fluchtend angeordnet.
Der Bolzen 3 weist einen Kopf 31 auf. Der Kopf 31 ist von der Bohrung 25 so aufgenommen, daß er außen bündig sowohl mit der Stirnfläche 16 des Rahmens 1 als auch mit der äußeren Oberfläche 22 des Deckels 2 liegt. Der Kopf 31 ist mit einem - nicht dargestellten - Innensechskant versehen. An seinem dem Kopf 31 abgewandten Ende weist der Bolzen 3 ein Gewinde 32 auf, auf das eine Mutter 33 aufgeschraubt ist. Der Bolzen 3 ist im Ausführungsbeispiel aus VA-Stahl hergestellt. In montiertem Zustand durchsetzt der Bolzen 3 die Bohrungen 17 und 25. Mit Hilfe des Bolzens 3 sowie der in dem Steg 14 befindlichen Bohrung 17 ist insbesondere bei kreisrunden Straßenkappen eine genaue Fixierung des Deckels 2 in dem Rahmen 1 ermöglicht und ein unbefugtes Ausbauen des Deckels 2 erschwert. Für größere Deckel kann auf der dem Schraubenbolzen 3 diametral gegenüberliegenden Seite ein weiterer Schraubenbolzen angeordnet sein.
Der Deckel 2 besteht aus einem Kern 26 aus Gußeisen. Der Kern 26 ist vollständig mit einer Beschichtung 4 aus Polyurethan versehen. Die Dicke der Beschichtung 4 ist auf den Durchmesser des Rings 13 des Rahmens 1 abgestimmt, so daß der Deckel 2 exakt in den Rahmen 1 paßt. Ist darüber hinaus der Rahmen 1 mit Polyurethan beschichtet oder vollständig aus Polyurethanschaum hergestellt, führt dies bei Verwendung eines beschichteten Deckels 2 zu einer absoluten Wasserdichtigkeit der Straßenkappe.

Claims (5)

  1. Straßenkappe mit einem im wesentlichen hohlzylindrischen Rahmen (1), der an einer Stirnseite unter Bildung einer Schulter (12) zu einem Ring (13) aufgeweitet ist, und mit einem Deckel (2), der von dem Ring (13) aufgenommen ist und auf der Schulter (12) aufliegt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der im Wesentlichen als scheibenförmige Platte (21) ausgeführte Deckel (2) aus einem Kern (26) aus Gusseisen besteht, welcher vollständig mit einer Beschichtung (4) aus Kunststoff versehen ist.
  2. Straßenkappe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Beschichtung (4) aus Polyurethan besteht.
  3. Straßenkappe nach einem der Ansprüche 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in dem Deckel (2) eine Bohrung (25) vorgesehen ist.
  4. Straßenkappe nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in der Bohrung (25) ein Bolzen (3) angeordnet ist.
  5. Straßenkappe nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Bolzen (3) aus VA-Stahl besteht.
