Abstract

Cette invention concerne un implant endostéal pour prothèse dentaire fixe, lequel est sensiblement constitué d'un corps principal cylindrique destiné à être inséré dans un orifice pratiqué dans un maxillaire et pourvu à son extrémité supérieure d'un trou borgne. L'implant comporte également une chape d'écartement protégée contre la déformation par torsion, qui se place sur le bord supérieur du corps principal, un soutien d'implant insérable directement ou indirectement dans le trou borgne du corps principal et traversant au moins partiellement la chape d'écartement ainsi qu'une tête de fixation de la prothèse dentaire. Cet implant se caractérise par le fait que la chape d'écartement présente sur son pourtour un épaulement sur lequel est posée la prothèse dentaire. La distance périphérique entre l'épaulement et le bord terminal du corps principal varie afin de s'adapter aux données anatomiques du patient.
