- the invention relates to a tamper-evident closure for nozzle-like openings of Containers with a closure part according to the preamble of claim 1.
- An originality closure is to be understood as a closure that only once opened and then can not be closed again or that again can be closed, but does not reach its original closed state, so that an unnoticed closure after a previous opening the lock is impossible.
- Tamper-evident closures are preferred for containers used where the user wants to be safe or be safe must open it for the first time, i.e. an originally closed container with intact content. Tamper-evident closures come from there especially for containers in the consumer goods industry, for example for Food, cosmetics, detergents and also motor oil, for containers Laboratory technology, e.g. for storing chemicals and samples and for medical technology containers, for example for infusion solutions and dialysis solutions, for use.
- the object of the invention is to provide a tamper-evident seal of the type mentioned Art to create the reliable and clearly recognizable way the original closure of the container until it opens for the first time and exactly defined opening cross section without the occurrence of splinters from broken off or removed closure parts.
- this object is achieved with a tamper-evident closure at the beginning specified type solved in that the annular portion to his lower edge conically widened or narrowed.
- the closure can be opened pull the annular section of the closure part out of the annular gap. After this pulling out, the annular section of the closure part can be however, do not push it back into the annular gap so that after opening the closure is impossible to close again with the closure part.
- the closure part expediently consists of a plastic injection molded part, so that the annular portion of the closure member has a certain elastic deformability.
- a preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the annular section is in a substantially Complementarily designed annular gap of the opening area is held.
- the closure part becomes less than certain elastic deformation of its peripheral portion or one flank or both flanks of the annular gap jamming on or in the area of the nozzle-like opening of the container held so that the full opening cross-section of the container when the closure part is pulled off is released. Since the closure member is jammed with its peripheral portion is held between the flanks of the annular gap, fall when the closure part is removed no fragments or splinters that could contaminate the contents of the container. As before the opening of the closure part in a position clamping its peripheral edge is held, it can no longer be pushed back into the clamped position after being pulled out be, so that the production of the press fit by the closure opening person is no longer possible.
- the closure part can with its annular peripheral portion a portion of the inside the opening area of the opening or an annular one connected to it Reach behind the intermediate piece, the diameter of the peripheral portion of the closure part is larger than the inside diameter of the engaging portion.
- a peripheral portion of the closure member clamped on the inside held the opening, wherein the clamping pressure exerted on the peripheral portion Can be of any kind.
- the closure part is expediently formed in a cap or hat shape.
- the cap-shaped closure part can have a conically widening peripheral wall have with which it is on a complementary inner cone-shaped section of the opening area is present.
- any suitable means can be provided be through which the edge of the peripheral wall of the closure part is clamped to the inner cone-shaped Section of the opening area is held.
- annular insert part is provided is that with a portion of the opening area on the edge or the peripheral wall of the closure part clamping annular gap limited.
- the edge or the peripheral wall of the closure part can also be fixed in an annular gap be between the outer peripheral wall of a portion of the opening area and a retaining ring enclosing this is formed.
- the peripheral edge of the annular portion of the cap-shaped Closure part between an inner conical opening edge with a connecting pipe piece connected sleeve-like retaining ring and one of its retracted Overlapped intermediate ring with radial sealing wall (septum) made of elastomer Material is clamped. After removing the closure part, the closure wall can pierced by a lapel pin held on the intermediate ring become.
- the intermediate ring can have an outer section offset by a circumferential ring shoulder have a clamping annular gap with the inner-conical opening edge forms.
- the stepped section can also be conical.
- the intermediate ring between the retracted edge of the retaining ring is expedient And clamped on the face or a face step of the pipe section.
- a rotating cap is attached, which is delimited by a ring step with a middle one Breakthrough is provided on which the conical or cap-shaped closure part supported with an approximately complementary ring step with elastic preload.
- the ring-shaped section is expediently formed in one piece with the rotary cap, so that this forms the closure part.
- the rotary cap can overlap the retaining ring or the opening with a cylindrical peripheral section and over an inner ring step with wedge-shaped or curved rises in the axial direction Sections on approximately complementary sections of an outer ring step of the retaining ring or support the opening. This way you can turn it around a small one Angle the closure part pulled out of its clamp seat and this together with the Removable rotating cap. It would also be easy to open the closure Tilting of the rotating cap possible.
- the tamper-evident closure according to the invention can be made from simple injection molded plastic parts produce.
- the closure can be automatically assembled in a simple manner, such as will be described below using an exemplary embodiment.
- the closure leaves do not outsmart yourself in such a way that after opening it for the first time it returns to its original Locked state could be brought.
- the tamper-evident seal according to the invention remains sealed before, during and after steam or hot water sterilization, which is of particular importance if in the container sealed by this sterile substances are stored.
- the tamper-evident seal according to the invention is used, for example the closure of containers with infusion solutions, it covers the intermediate ring with a radial closure wall (septum), sterile and tight until it opens.
- the closure according to the invention can be opened in an easily visible manner, so that the Studying an instruction manual is unnecessary.
- the embodiment of the tamper-evident closure consists of a Connection pipe section 1, on which an intermediate ring 2 made of elastomeric material with radial Closure wall (septum) is held by a sleeve-like retaining ring 4 made of plastic.
- the sleeve-like retaining ring 4 is provided with a retracted edge, one of which Binding ring 4 bordered by an annular shoulder and with this one Limited annular gap in which the lower edge of the cap-shaped closure part 3 Plastic is held clamped.
- a rotary cap 5 is placed on the retaining ring has an average opening defined by a ring step. On this ring step the cap-shaped closure part 3 is supported with an approximately complementary ring step, as will be described in more detail below.
- the connecting pipe section 1 consisting of an injection-molded plastic part has one slightly tapered shaft portion 6, to which a lower section 7 with a larger Cone angle connects.
- the slightly cone-shaped shaft part 6 is at the top by a Ring collar 8 limited.
- the connecting pipe section 1 has a upper section 9 tapering slightly towards the outside.
- the through hole 10 of the connecting pipe piece has at its upper end formed by an annular step Expansion on, with an inner part 11 of the ring step through from the peripheral wall an axial annular groove 12 is divided.
- the outer section 9 of the connecting pipe section 1 is from an annular section 13 of the sleeve-like section which is expanded via an inner ring step Retaining rings 4 overlapped.
- the sleeve-like retaining ring 4 also consists of a Injection molded plastic part and is welded to the connecting pipe section 1.
- the intermediate ring 2 with septum consists of an elastomer and is between the ring step 11 of the connector 1 and the retracted edge 14 of the sleeve-like retaining ring, the overlaps an upper ring step 15 of the intermediate ring 2.
- the elastic clamping is shown in that the intermediate ring 2 in overlapping form with the this clamping parts of the connecting pipe section 1 and the sleeve-like retaining ring 4th is shown.
- the closure part 3 consists of a plastic injection molded part and has on its underside an annular portion 16 which is conical.
- the lower, conical Edge region of section 16 of the cap-shaped closure part 3 is between the inner cone-shaped inner wall of the retracted edge 14 of the holding 4 and the offset section 17 of the intermediate ring with conical peripheral edge clamping clamped, the clamping clamping is represented by the overlap.
- the rotary cap 5 also consists of an injection molded plastic part and has on the inside its peripheral wall has an inner annular step 18 with wedge in the axial direction or curved sections. The rotary cap 5 is based on their Ring step 18 on approximately complementary sections of an outer ring step 19 of the retaining ring 4 from.
- the rotary cap 5 which is provided with outer axial ribs, has an inner tubular section Indentation 20 provided at its opening edge with a radial ring step 21 is provided.
- the cap-shaped closure part 3 is supported with a complementary ring stage 22, the tension between the two ring stages 21, 22 is represented by the overlap.
- the connecting pipe section 1 of the tamper-evident closure forms the connection to the closure a container, for example a plastic bag for infusion solutions with a welded-in one Hose connector. After filling the bag through this hose connector the already fully assembled tamper-evident closure with its connecting pipe section 1 inserted into the hose connector, so that after the sterilization a firm and tight connection results.
- the connecting pipe section 1 can also be welded be connected to the hose connector of the plastic bag. Others too Connection technologies are possible.
- the septum formed by the intermediate ring 2 with a radial closure wall consists of an elastomer and makes the tamper-evident seal shown a so-called septum connector.
- the septum is pierced and sealed with a cannula doing the connection between the connector and the cannula after pulling out the The cannula closes the septum again.
- the intermediate ring 2 containing the septum is, as already described, under elastic Deformation clamped between the connecting pipe section 1 and the sleeve-like retaining ring 4.
- the sealing resulting from elastic deformation remains due to the heat resistance of the elastomer can also be obtained with steam or hot water sterilization.
- the intermediate ring 2 forms in the manner described together with the retracted Edge 14 of the retaining ring 4 has a clamping sealing gap for the lower edge of the cap-shaped Closure part 3.
- the cap-shaped closure part 3 retracted into the retaining ring 4 in such a way that the lower, conical edge region of the annular portion 16 on the inner tapered edge of the retracted end portion of the retaining ring 4 is applied.
- the intermediate ring 2 is inserted so that the lower, conical Edge region of the annular section 16 in the through the flanks of the retaining ring 4 and the intermediate ring 2 formed annular gap is clamped.
- the retaining ring 4 will then connected to the connecting pipe section 1.
- the rotary cap 5 is then pressed on, in such a way that the Ringschultem 21, 22 due to their sawtooth Profiles snap behind each other.
- connection of the retaining ring 4 with the connecting pipe piece can be by welding or but also by gluing, shrinking, snapping or screwing a snap-screw connection with an integrated turnstile is the result Particularly advantageous possibility of the tamper-evident closure as a sample container use, because the closure can then be done by hand.
- the tamper-evident seal according to the invention is an untreatable one and its original closed condition, securely recognizable closure.
- the tamper-evident seal according to the invention has in comparison to tamper-evident seals Crushed or torn parts have the special advantages that no predetermined breaking points have to be dimensioned that may be difficult to break through, and that there are no tight tolerances in the material and manufacturing must, which are due to the correct functioning of predetermined breaking points. Finally the tamper-evident closure according to the invention also does not result in chips Small parts that could contaminate the contents of the containers.
- the tamper-evident seal according to the invention can be easily recognized in a simple manner open what, for example, with closures with sealed membranes, with pull tabs, with tear tapes or with tear points is not always possible. because the points of attack difficult to find, difficult to grasp or difficult to operate. Often enough it happens that tear-open tabs tear off and the closure then by expensive rework must be opened.
- the tamper-evident closure according to the invention can be opened without additional tools, which usually have to be supplied with closures with separating membranes.
