Definitions

  • the invention relates to a concealed siphon with one inlet opening and one Outflow opening housing and an L-shaped insert into the housing trained dip tube, with an approximately horizontal inlet pipe part of the dip tube from the inlet opening arranged on a side wall of the housing into an approximately vertical arranged dip tube part of the dip tube opens, the dip tube part in a riser tube part flows and this with an overflow edge in a downward channel of the Housing merges, which opens into a discharge channel via the outflow opening, and wherein the Inlet pipe part in line with a drain pipe, such as a sink drain pipe, is sealingly connectable
  • a similar, generic concealed siphon is known from DE-C - 34 47 098. This ends with this concealed siphon Dip tube spaced above the bottom of the case and it extends from the bottom of the housing up a storage wall in order to close a water bag that serves to block the odor form. Between the storage wall and a housing side wall there is also a downward leading one Drain channel of the concealed siphon is formed, which leads to the outflow opening of the housing.
  • the invention aims at avoiding these disadvantages and difficulties and presents itself the task of creating a concealed siphon of the type described in the introduction, which in simple Way can be cleaned.
  • strong deformations of the Cleaning pen can be avoided.
  • a concealed siphon in which in a wall walled box a housing is detachably inserted, which housing by a vertical

  • the end part of the inlet pipe part forms the Dip tube itself the support ring for stiffening the from a soft elastic material manufactured ring seal.
  • the immersion tube made of a relatively rigid material, e.g. Plastic, formed, can the inlet pipe part of the immersion pipe expediently beyond the housing, i.e. whose Extend inlet opening, then advantageously on the end part of the inlet pipe part the discharge pipe can be rigidly attached, for example screwed on or in some other way is attachable.
  • a relatively rigid material e.g. Plastic
  • the inlet pipe part is expedient in its the inlet opening of the housing penetrating area with a radially outwardly extending ring flange, which can be sealed off from the housing at the inlet opening by means of an annular seal and wherein the ring flange is at least partially overlapping the ring flange Ring nut can be screwed onto the housing.
  • a thread at the free end of the inlet pipe part is advantageous for connecting one Drain pipe provided.
  • the dip tube is made of a relatively rigid Material formed, screwed to the housing and is a seal made of soft elastic Material with a plug opening for the drain pipe can be used.
  • a space-saving accommodation of the riser pipe part is given when the riser pipe part is formed by two half shells arranged diametrically to the immersion tube part.
