Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for a machine of the graphic industry for Wash off according to the generic term of the independent Subclaim for this procedure.
- washing machines for washing rotating Rotational bodies of a graphic machine Industry, in particular printing machines, and the like turn from offset printing machines, are out known various writings.
- the detergent for washing the rotating body is in one Recirculation cycle.
- From the DE utility models G 91 15 948.2 and G 88 01 323.5 as well DE-C-30 05 236 and DE-A-41 16 762 it is known mechanical in the return of the recirculation circuit Arrange filters through which from the cleaning liquid, which from a rotating body to one Storage tank flows back, mechanical components be filtered.
- DE-A 30 25 639 it is known to use a centrifuge as a filter medium which solid contaminants from the cleaning liquid be segregated.
- the cleaning liquid in the graphics industry must not have a negative impact on print quality to have. That is why there are modern cleaning fluids mainly from high quality organic substances, which not only have a cleaning effect, but at the same time also effects that affect the printing process are advantageous, for example a metered Moisten the rotating body during the Printing process for the purpose that no ink from the printed print carrier adheres to the rotating body and is transferred to this, which damage the Print image on the print carrier would mean.
- As Cleaning liquid can also, for example "Dampening solution" are used, which in the same printing press is also used in Offset printing process on the printing plate of the Printing plate cylinder ink-repellent areas form.
- the invention is not for cleaning Printing unit cylinders, for example blanket cylinders, Impression cylinder or plate cylinder limited but for continuous or discontinuous cleaning of all cylinders and Rolling machines of the graphic industry applicable, for example for cleaning the cylinder from Printing units, the roles of inking units or Dampening, for cleaning guide rollers, the Cylinder of calenders, for cleaning rollers or Cylinders in glue applicators and laminating machines.
- the print media can be sheets, for example Sheets of paper for brochures or newspapers, or webs be from one unwinding reel to one Winding roll or run to a cutter, which cuts the web into arches.
- the object of the invention is to be achieved Rotary body of machines of the graphic industry of components dissolved in it without cleaning the Exchange cleaning fluid and without the Machine operation or print quality too affect. This task is to be solved by means which are not structurally large devices need which are not expensive and which harmless with regard to fire and explosion are.
- Fig. 1 shows broken off a rotating body 2 one Machine of the graphic industry, for example a rubber impression cylinder, impression cylinder, impression cylinder or an ink roller of an offset printing machine or similar.
- the car wash for cleaning the Rotating body 2 with a solvent-containing Cleaning fluid contains a rotating one Washing roller 4, which is continuous or discontinuously abuts the rotating body 2, which also rotates.
- the speeds and Direction of rotation of the rotating body 2 and Wash roller 4 are chosen such that between their relative surfaces on one another takes place. Instead of a washing roller 4 can also other washing element can be used.
- the Cleaning liquid is in a storage container 6 stored, which also fresh cleaning liquid can be supplied and from which the Cleaning liquid via a flow 8 Washer roller 4 fed and via a return 10 Storage container 6 is returned.
- the Flow 8 contains a pump 12 to promote the Cleaning liquid from the reservoir 6 too a nozzle device 14 with one or more nozzles at the end of the lead 8, which the Spray cleaning liquid on the washing roller 4.
- a nozzle device 14 with one or more nozzles at the end of the lead 8, which the Spray cleaning liquid on the washing roller 4.
- the washing roller 4 dripping fresh Cleaning liquid and from the rotating body 2 of the washing roller 4 stripped dirty Cleaning liquid and if necessary from Rotating body 2 spraying cleaning liquid is by a sump 16 at the beginning of the return 10 caught.
- the return 10 contains one after the other in Flow direction the collecting wall 16, one over a upstream line 18 connected to it Return tank 20, a 2/2-way valve 22, one Intermediate line 25 with a pump 24, a Filter device 26 with a coarse filter 28 and downstream fine filter 30 for filtering Solid particles from the cleaning liquid, and an ion exchanger 32 in a downstream one Return line section 33 between the Filter device 26 and the reservoir 6.
- the cleaning liquid circulates in the Storage container 6, flow 8 and return 10 existing recirculation cycle during the Cleaning operation when said first valve 22nd not the closed position shown, but Has open position while everyone else in the Valves shown drawing their closed position to have. Closed position here means that the valves do not let liquid through; Open position means here that the valves let fluid through.
- Level switch 34 effects via a control device, that pumps 12 and 24 are only switched on when the cleaning liquid in the return tank 20 has reached a certain level, but not at a lower level.
- a flush line 36 with a second valve 38 connects the reservoir 6 to the intermediate line 25 of the return 10 upstream of its pump 24.
- the filters 28 and 30 of the filter device 26 can be in Backwashed when the first valve is flushed 22 is closed, the second valve 38 is opened a third bridging the return pump 24 Valve 40 opened, one on the pressure side of the Return pump 24 arranged and from the third valve 40 also bypassed fourth valve 42 on the Pressure side of the return pump 24 is closed, the downstream return line section 33 upstream of the ion exchange 32 by a fifth Valve 44 is closed, the pressure side of the flow pump 12 by closing a sixth valve 46 from Flow separated and by opening a seventh valve 48 connected to the output of the filter device 26 the feed pump 12 is turned on while the return pump 24 is switched off.
- the ion exchanger 32 contains at least one, or several arranged in series or parallel to each other, of the cleaning liquid of the return 10 flowed through ion filter 50.
- the ion filter 50 contain filter media for ion exchange and thus for Filter out dissolved components of the Cleaning liquid, especially for ionic Filter out alkaline colors and acidic ones Colours.
- the Cleaning liquid contains organic components, which react with oxygen in air and thereby Form peroxides, for example in the collecting trough 16 the washing roller 4 and / or the rotating body 2, then preferably also contains the ion exchanger Ion filter mass, which with these peroxides one Generates ion exchange and thereby these peroxides filters out the cleaning liquid.
- the Ion filter media are preferred Ion exchange resins. Of course you can too other substances dissolved in the cleaning liquid this cleaning liquid by ion exchange be filtered out. Depending on the type of solved Substances that are to be filtered out must be Ion exchanger 32 one adapted for this Contain ion exchange mass.
- the Ion filter masses 50 exchanged or regenerated become.
- a cover 52 is for such an exchange of the ion exchanger 32 removable.
- this conditioner to regenerate the Ion exchanger 32, it is over at its lower end an eighth valve 54 can be connected to a tub 55, and at its upper end facing away from it a ninth Valve 56 with a second regenerant container 58 connectable, in which the Chemical solution.
- the ion exchanger 32 can also without one upstream filter device 26 for filtering Solid contaminants are used. According to other embodiments, the ion exchanger 32 also used in combination with other filter types become.
- a centrifugal separator e.g. a decanter, in the return 10 arranged upstream of the ion exchanger 32 become.
- the principle of operation of the invention or Ion exchanger is based on the fact that printing ink ingredients, such as manganese salts and Cobalt salts and peroxides, on strongly acidic and / or on strongly basic ion exchangers, preferably Ion exchange resins are bound.
- the Ion exchanger is preferably a so-called Mixed bed reactor, which according to the so-called Mixed bed process works. This will both Ink ingredients, which by acid Ion exchangers, as well as those which are made by basic Ion exchangers can be bound from the Cleaning liquid excreted.
- the invention can also be called “absorbent Solvent cleaning system for offset machines "or as "regeneration process for printing blanket cleaning” be designated.
