Claims (5)
- An aerial cableway installation with two stations, in particular a valley station and a mountain station, comprising a hauling cable (10), which is guided over deflection pulleys in the stations, one of the deflection pulleys being driven, a plurality of movable operating units (5), such as cars or chairs, which may be coupled to the hauling cable (10) and uncoupled therefrom, guide rails arranged in the area of the stations, along which the movable operating units (5) uncoupled from the hauling cable (10) may be moved out of the uncoupling area about the deflection pulleys into the coupling area, and groups of braking wheels (2), conveying wheels (3) and accelerating wheels (4), which come to rest against the movable operating units (5) displaced along the guide rails, at least some of the braking wheels (2), the conveying wheels (3) and/or the accelerating wheels (4) being capable of being made inoperative with respect to the movable operating units (5) uncoupled from the hauling cable (10), characterised in that at least some of the braking wheels (2) and/or the accelerating wheels (4) may be lifted, whereby these wheels (2, 4) are brought out of engagement with the movable operating units (5), such that, in the areas of the guide rail (1) associated with these wheels (2, 4), movable operating units may be stored when the installation is out of operation.
- An aerial cableway installation according to claim 1, characterised in that the wheels (2, 4) may be lifted against the action of a restoring force, in particular against the action of a restoring spring (65).
- An aerial cableway installation according to claim 2, characterised in that the wheels (2, 4) may be hydraulically lifted.
- An aerial cableway installation according to claims 1 to 3, characterised in that one of the wheels (2a) adjacent the liftable wheels (2, 4) may be uncoupled from the drive and is constructed with a brake.
- A method of storing movable operating units in an aerial cableway installation according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that at least some of the braking wheels (2) and/or the accelerating wheels (4) are made inoperative with respect to the movable operating units (5) uncoupled from the hauling cable (10), in that said wheels (2, 4) are lifted, whereby they are brought out of engagement with the movable operating units (5), whereupon the movable operating units (5) located on that section are moved into the station, uncoupled from the cable (10) and stored in the areas of the guide rail (1) associated with the wheels (2, 4) which are no longer operative.
