Abstract

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine faltbare Verpackung, mit einem Bodenteil (1) und einem davon abtrennbaren oberen Verpackungsteil (2) die jeweils in Reihe aneinander angelenkte Seitenwände (3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) aufweisen, wobei an Längskanten des Bodenteils (1) Bodenlaschen (15,16,17,18) angelenkt sind. An den den Seitenwänden (3,4,7,9) des Bodenteils (1) gegenüberliegenden Längskanten (19,20) von wenigstens zwei Bodenlaschen (15,17) sind Verbindungslaschen (21,22) angelenkt, die diese Bodenlaschen (15,17) mit Längskanten der Seitenwände (5,6) des oberen Verpackungsteils (2) lösbar verbinden. Die Verpackung kann aus einem einzigen Zuschnitt hergestellt und mit einer herkömmlichen Aufrichtmaschine befüllfertig hergerichtet werden. Zum Abnehmen des oberen Verpackungsteils (2) werden die Verbindungen zwischen den Verbindungslaschen (21,22) und den zugehörigen Längskanten der Seitenwände des oberen Verpackungsteils (2) gelöst und dieser obere Teil (2) wird aus dem Bodenteil (1) nach oben herausgezogen. <IMAGE>

Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft eine faltbare Verpackung mit einem Bodenteil und einem davon abtrennbaren oberen Packungsteil, die jeweils in Reihe aneinander angelenkte Seitenwände aufweisen, wobei an den Längskanten des Bodenteils Bodenlaschen angeordnet sind.
  • Für den Einzelhandel bestimmte Waren werden häufig in faltbaren Verpackungen verpackt. Die Verpackungen sollen während der Anlieferung den darin enthaltenen Waren einen ausreichenden Schutz vor insbesondere mechanischen äußeren Einflüssen bieten und müssen häufig stapelbar sein. Im Regal des Einzelhändlers wird dann der obere Verpackungsteil vom Bodenteil abgetrennt, der auch Warentray genannte Bodenteil dient der Präsentation der zu verkaufenden Waren. Das Abtrennen des oberen Verpackungsteils vom Bodenteil soll an letzterem keine oder allenfalls wenig sichtbare mechanische Beschädigungen hinterlassen, um den optischen Eindruck der Verkaufspräsentation nicht zu beeinträchtigen.
  • Aus DE-B-39 40 872 ist eine Verpackung gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Hauptanspruchs bekannt. Die Seitenwände des Bodenteils weisen Befestigungslaschen auf, die mit den Seitenwänden des oberen Verpackungsteils verklebt werden und so die Verbindung zwischen Bodenteil und oberem Verpackungsteil herstellen. Zum Abtrennen des oberen Verpackungsteils werden Perforationsverbindungen zwischen den Befestigungslaschen und den Seitenwänden des Bodenteils gelöst, anschließend wird der obere Verpackungsteil mit den daran haftenden Befestigungslaschen vom Bodenteil abgehoben.
  • Nachteilig bei dieser bekannten Verpackung ist die verhältnismäßig aufwendige Herstellung. Boden- und oberer Verpackungsteil müssen als getrennte Zuschnitte hergestellt und in einem separaten Schritt miteinander verklebt werden. Nach dem Auftrennen der Perforationsverbindungen zwischen Befestigungslaschen und Seitenwänden des Bodenteils und dem Abnehmen des oberen Verpackungsteils verbleiben zudem in den Seitenwänden des Bodenteils in den Bereichen der abgetrennten Befestigungslaschen U-förmige Aussparungen, die den ästhetischen Eindruck des Bodenteils als zur Warenpräsentation vorgesehene Verkaufsverpackung beeinträchtigen.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine faltbare Verpackung der eingangs genannten Art zu schaffen, die einfach herzustellen und aufzufalten ist, und bei der der obere Verpackungsteil einfach und ohne optische Beeinträchtigung des Bodenteils von diesem abtrennbar ist.
  • Die Erfindung löst diese Aufgabe dadurch, daß an den den Seitenwänden des Bodenteils gegenüberliegenden Längskanten von wenigstens zwei Bodenlaschen Verbindungslaschen angelenkt sind, die diese Bodenlaschen mit Längskanten der Seitenwände des oberen Verpackungsteils lösbar verbinden.
  • Im Rahmen der Erfindung bezeichnet der Begriff "Längskanten" diejenigen Kanten der Laschen bzw. Seitenwände, die im wesentlichen senkrecht zu den Faltlinien verlaufen, die benachbarte Seitenwände (Längsseitenwände und Stirnseitenwände) miteinander verbinden. Die Längskanten der Seitenwände sind also diejenigen Kanten, die im aufgefalteten, gebrauchsfertigen Zustand der Verpackung nach oben und unten weisen. Die Längskanten der Bodenlaschen sind diejenigen Kanten, die mit den Längskanten der Seitenwände des Bodenteils verbunden sind, bzw. diesen gegenüberliegen.
  • Mittels der Verbindungslaschen wird die lösbare Verbindung zwischen Bodenteil und oberem Verpackungsteil hergestellt. Die Verbindungen zwischen Verbindungslaschen und zugehörigen Seitenwänden des oberen Verpackungsteils sind bevorzugt im Bereich der Längskanten der Seitenwände des oberen Verpackungsteils lösbar. Zweckmäßigerweise handelt es sich bei diesen lösbaren Verbindungen um perforierte Abschnitte, besonders bevorzugt ist ein Abreißstreifen, durch dessen Abreißen die Verbindung zwischen Seitenwand und Verbindungslasche gelöst werden kann.
  • Zum Auffalten der erfindungsgemäßen Verpackung wird ausgehend vom flachen Zustand des Zuschnitts der obere Verpackungsteil mitsamt den Verbindungslaschen entlang der Faltlinie Verbindungslaschen-Bodenlaschen des Bodenteils umgeklappt und auf den Bodenteil gelegt. Die Quererstreckungen der Verbindungslaschen (senkrecht zu deren Längskanten) stimmen vorzugsweise mit den Quererstreckungen der damit verbundenen Bodenlaschen überein, so daß nach diesem Umklappen die unteren Längskanten der Seitenwände des oberen Verpackungsteils bündig mit den entsprechenden Längskanten der Seitenwände des Bodenteils abschließen. Die Verbindungslaschen liegen jetzt über den zugehörigen Bodenlaschen.
  • Anschließend wird die Verpackung in herkömmlicher und unten näher erläuterter Weise aufgefaltet und verklebt. Im aufgefalteten Zustand liegen die Verbindungslaschen oberhalb der Bodenlaschen, bilden einen Teil des Verpackungsbodens und verstärken diesen.
  • Wenn der Verpackungsboden eine hohe Tragfähigkeit aufweisen soll, kann es zweckmäßig sein, wenn die Längserstreckung jeder Verbindungslasche der Längserstreckung der damit verbundenen Bodenlasche entspricht, da auf diese Weise die gesamte Fläche des Verpackungsboden durch die Verbindungslaschen verstärkt wird. In diesem Fall erstreckt sich die Verbindung zwischen den Seitenwänden des oberen Verpackungsteils und den Verbindungslaschen zweckmäßigerweise nur über einen Teil der Längserstreckung jeder Verbindungslasche, in den übrigen Längenabschnitten existiert keine Verbindung. Diese Beschränkung der Verbindung auf einen bestimmten Längenabschnitt erleichtert das anschließende Lösen dieser Verbindung zwecks Abtrennung des oberen Verpackungsteils.
  • Es ist zweckmäßig, wenn an die Seitenwände des oberen Verpackungsteils zusätzlich Deckellaschen angelenkt sind, die beim Verschließen der Verpackung in herkömmlicher Weise zu einem Deckel gefaltet werden.
  • In einer besonders vorteilhaften Ausführungsform der Erfindung sind der Bodenteil und der obere Verpackungsteil einstückig miteinander verbunden, bestehen also aus einem einzigen gemeinsamen Zuschnitt. Die lösbare Verbindung zwischen den Seitenwänden des oberen Verpackungsteils und den Verbindungslaschen wird dann in der Regel als Perforation ausgebildet sein.
  • Ein vorteilhaftes Material für die erfindungsgemäße Verpackung ist Wellpappe.
  • Eine Ausführungsform wird im folgenden anhand der Zeichnungen beschrieben. Darin zeigen:

  • Die erfindungsgemäße Verpackung weist grundsätzlich einen Bodenteil 1 (Warentray) und einen oberen Verpackungsteil 2 (Haube) auf. Jeder dieser Teile weist Längsseitenwände 3, 4, 5, 6 sowie Stirnseitenwände 7, 8, 9, 10 auf. Die aneinander anliegenden Querkanten dieser Seitenwände sind über Faltlinien oder Falze miteinander verbunden. An den im aufgefalteten und aufgerichteten Zustand der Verpackung oberen Längskanten der Haubenseitenwände 5, 6, 8, 10 sind Deckellaschen 11, 12, 13, 14 angeordnet, mit denen sich die aufgefaltete Verpackung in bekannter Weise verschließen läßt.
  • An den im aufgefalteten Zustand unteren Längskanten der Seitenwände 3, 7, 4, 9 des Bodenteils 1 sind Bodenlaschen 15, 16, 17, 18 angeordnet, die den Boden der Verpackung bilden. Die Längskanten 19, 20 der zu den Längsseitenwänden 3, 4 gehörigen Bodenlaschen 15, 17 sind über Faltlinien mit Verbindungslaschen 21, 22 verbunden, deren diametral gegenüberliegenden Längskanten über Perforationsverbindungen bzw. Abreißstreifen 23, 24 mit den unteren Längskanten der Längsseitenwände 5 und 6 der Haube 2 verbunden sind.
  • Zum Falten einer erfindungsgemäßen Verpackung aus dem in Fig. 1 gezeigten Zuschnitt wird zunächst die Haube 2 zusammen mit den Verbindungslaschen 21, 22 entlang der Faltlinien 19, 20 umgeklappt und auf den Bodenteil 1 gelegt. Anschließend werden die Seitenwände 3, 7 sowie 5, 8 entlang der Faltlinien, die die Seitenwände 7 und 4 bzw. 8 und 6 miteinander verbinden, umgeklappt, so daß sie auf die Seitenwände 4, 9, 6, 10 zu liegen kommen. Die Kleblaschen 25, 26 (auch Industriekanten genannt) werden mit den entsprechenden Gegenflächen der Stirnseitenwände 9 bzw. 10 verklebt. In der Regel wird zu diesem Zweck ein Heißschmelzkleber eingesetzt. Üblicherweise wird der so verklebte Karton im flachen Zustand an den Kunden ausgeliefert.
  • Beim Kunden kann die Verpackung mit herkömmlichen Auffalt- und Befüllmaschinen aufgefaltet, befüllt und verschlossen werden. Fig. 2 zeigt in einer teilweisen Schnittansicht einen aufgerichteten und verschlossenen Karton.
  • Es ist zu erkennen, daß die Seitenwände 5, 6, 8, 10 der Haube mit ihren unteren Längskanten auf den Bodenlaschen der Verpackung aufstehen und daher die gesamten auf der Verpackung lastenden Kräfte aufnehmen und in den Boden ableiten könne. Bei ausreichender Materialstärke dieser Seitenwände sind erfindungsgemäße Verpackungen somit übereinander stapelbar. Die Seitenwände 3, 4, 7, 9 des Bodenteils 1 verlaufen außenliegend und überdecken die Seitenwände 5, 6, 8, 9 der Haube 2 teilweise. In Fig. 2 ist auch die übereinander liegende Anordnung der Verbindungslasche 22 und der Bodenlasche 17 zu erkennen, die beim Umklappen des in Fig. 1 gezeigten Zuschnitts entlang der Faltlinien 19, 20 entstanden ist. Die Verbindungslasche 22 und die in Fig. 2 nicht dargestellte Verbindungslasche 21 bilden also eine oberhalb der Bodenlaschen 15, 17 liegende Verstärkung des Behälterbodens. Die Bodenlaschen 16, 18 der Stirnseitenwände 7, 9 sowie die Verbindungslaschen 21, 22 schließen bündig miteinander ab und bilden zusammen einen glatten Boden.
  • Nach dem Einsortieren der Verpackung in die Verkaufsregale des Einzelhandels werden die mit reißverschlußartigen Perforationen versehenen Abreißstreifen 23, 24, die die Längsseitenwände 5, 6 mit den Verbindungslaschen 21, 22 verbinden, abgerissen. Die Abreißstreifen 23, 24 sind durch Aussparungen oder Ausstanzungen 27, 28 in den Längsseitenwänden 3, 4 des Bodenteils 1 von außen zuganglich. Nach dem Abreißen dieser Streifen 23, 24 kann die gesamte Haube 2 nach oben aus dem Bodenteil 1 herausgezogen werden. Die Verbindungslaschen 21, 22 verbleiben im Bodenteil. Aufgrund der im Vergleich zu den Seitenwänden der Haube 2 niedrigeren Seitenwänden des Bodenteils 1 ist nach dem Abnehmen der Haube 2 die in der Verpackung enthaltene Ware ohne weiteres zugänglich und kann aus dem Bodenteil 1 heraus verkauft werden. Das Abreißen der Streifen 23, 24 beschädigt die Seitenwände 3, 4, 7, 9 des Bodenteils 1 nicht, so daß eine gefällige Verkaufspräsentation möglich ist.

Faltbare Verpackung, mit einem Bodenteil (1) und einem davon abtrennbaren oberen Verpackungsteil (2), die jeweils in Reihe aneinander angelenkte Seitenwände (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10) aufweisen, wobei an Längskanten des Bodenteils (1) Bodenlaschen (15, 16, 17, 18) angelenkt sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß an den den Seitenwänden (3, 4, 7, 9) des Bodenteils (1) gegenüberliegenden Längskanten (19, 20) von wenigstens zwei Bodenlaschen (15, 17) Verbindungslaschen (21, 22) angelenkt sind, die diese Bodenlaschen (15, 17) mit Längskanten der Seitenwände (5, 6) des oberen Verpackungsteils (2) lösbar verbinden.
  2. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die lösbaren Verbindungen zwischen den Verbindungslaschen (21, 22) und den zugehörigen Seitenwänden (5, 6) des oberen Verpackungsteils (2) durch perforierte Abschnitte (23, 24) gebildet sind.
  3. Verpackung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die perforierten Abschnitte (23, 24) im aufgefalteten Zustand der Verpackung durch Aussparungen (27, 28) in den Seitenwänden (3, 4) des Bodenteils (1) zugänglich sind.
  4. Verpackung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Längserstreckung jeder Verbindungslasche (21, 22) der Längserstreckung der damit verbundenen Bodenlasche (15, 17) entspricht.
  5. Verpackung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß an den Seitenwänden (5, 6, 8, 10) des oberen Verpackungsteils (2) zusätzlich Deckellaschen (11, 12, 13, 14) angelenkt sind.
  6. Verpackung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Bodenteil (1) und der obere Verpackungsteil (2) einstückig miteinander verbunden sind.
  7. Verpackung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie aus Wellpappe besteht.
