Definitions
- the invention relates to a walking aid.
- Such walking aids are known from practice and are used for example in hospitals. They consist of a frame that includes three or four wheels and either is square and the user on all sides surrounds or which has a substantially U-shaped plan.
- the frame is designed as a tubular frame and the user can either be on the frame or on specially trained Hold on to the handles. People with reduced mobility can with the help of such a walking aid yourself move.
- the known devices have the disadvantage that they allow people with mobility problems to move, but are themselves very heavy and voluminous. she are intended for use either in rehabilitation centers or in the case of the "Easy Stand Mobil" for use at home for people who are unable to walk.
- GB-PS 1 262 751, GB 2 140 773 A and the GB-PS 1 407 033 standing aids are known, one basically weakened but capable of getting up from the sitting posture and sitting down from the Stand should facilitate. These devices are neither provided still suitable for running the person over to relieve long distances. Rather, they mean an additional one Load, because the walking person uses the standing aid - if it is equipped with wheels at all - push and steer got to.
- a toilet wheelchair is known from DE 34 32 630, the be driven and moved by means of a hand crank can.
- This toilet wheelchair is not a walking aid for people represents that are executable to a limited extent, but in themselves known way a means of transportation for non-runnable Persons.
- this device can not Run supportive, but only in the Sitting can be used.
- This is due to the frame construction Toilet lift is voluminous and can be used in many Vehicles, especially in cars, not or only under very much large circumstances.
- a drive and Steering column can be climbed from its position of use or left the toilet chair, whereby the dimensions of the toilet chair folded down in this Enlarging the condition of the column and making it portable Toilet chair more difficult.
- Document FR - A - 1 349 016 discloses a walking aid, with a frame, wherein the walking aid by means of wheels arranged on the frame is movable, and wherein the frame is a support for a has an upright person with the prop in front of the user is arranged, and wherein on the support a hand-operated crank is arranged as well as means for power transmission from the crank at least one impeller, and wherein the walking aid is a first assembly in the form of a floor assembly with wheels and a step plate for the User includes and a second assembly in the form of a support, wherein the tread plate (22) is designed as a standing surface for the user.
- the support of the walking aid known from this document is opposite the floor assembly can be removed from a position of use, and the first The assembly is then foldable, so that the walking aid is in a transport position can be brought, in which the occupied by the walking aid Volume is smaller than with the one in its use position Support.
- the invention has for its object a generic To improve walking aid so that it can be easily transported is.
- the invention proposes a collapsible or creating dismountable walking aids.
- the user can use his home area or the Leave the clinic area and the walking aid in the trunk, for example of a car with you. It is therefore possible that Take walking aids from home to a friend or the like in a city and to move there as freely as possible.
- the walking aid according to the invention has two assemblies which are arranged essentially at right angles to one another: A substantially horizontally oriented floor assembly which includes wheels and an upright support assembly which provides support for the user.
- a substantially horizontally oriented floor assembly which includes wheels and an upright support assembly which provides support for the user.
- Such a foldable support facilitates handling the walking aid, since the two modules mentioned are not separate from each other separated and therefore not joined together later have to.
- Significant weight savings for the items to be transported Walking aid can, however, result from the fact that the support cannot be folded down relative to the floor assembly, but is completely detachable from it, so that in particular weaker people both individual assemblies can handle separately.
- a walking aid with a walking aid is generally referred to, which essentially consists of three assemblies: a floor assembly 2, one front support 3 and a rear seat 4.
- the floor assembly 2 has a longitudinal frame tube 5 on which a rear cross member 6 is attached, the two Wheels 7 carries.
- a front wheel 8 is on the support 3rd attached and pivoted together with the entire support 3 on the Floor assembly 2 attached so that this front wheel 8 as steerable wheel is formed.
- the walking aid 1 is designed to be dismantled.
- the seat 4 can be removed from the floor assembly 2 by the Support struts 9 are deducted upwards from two connecting pieces 11 where they are fixed in height.
- the support 3 can be detached from the floor assembly 2, by removing a locking screw 12 and the Front vertical head area of floor assembly 2 by two hinge pins 14 is pulled off the support 3.
- the front support 3 comprises a tube on which the hinge pin 14 are attached and which below a fork for receiving of the front wheel 8.
- the support 3 has a handle 15, with its Help the walking aid 1 can be pulled so that the user the walking aid is then easily transported by a helper can become when the user himself is exhausted.
- the support 3 has a crank 16 which via, for example, a V-belt, toothed belt or the like. trained power transmission connected to the front wheel 8 is.
- the crank 16 can be actuated by two handles 17 be, the distance between the two handles and thus the effective diameter of the crank 16 by two longitudinally adjustable Crank arms 18 adaptable to the wishes of the user is.
- the crank 16 can thereby on the central tube of the support 3 be attached that a bolt 19 from the crank 16 in the central tube of the support 3 extends.
- This bolt 19 can in the central tube of the support 3 through one or more sliding blocks be set free of play.
- the bolt 19 can be used as Threaded rod and have an adjusting nut 20, which limits the depth of penetration of the bolt 19. By Loosening the adjusting nut 20 can the bolt 19 deeper into the central Enter the tube of the support 3 so that the power transmission belt can lose tension and be removed, e.g. B. um to be replaced or for repairs to the crank 16 or on the front impeller 8.
- the support 3 can be delivered in different heights, so that when using the same assembly 2 a Adaptation to the user's height by each suitably high support 3 can be done.
- Walking aid 1 with a front wheel or a total of wheels have significantly larger diameter, so that this have better driving characteristics on uneven surfaces, for example for driving outside of buildings on pavement and similar bumps.
- the floor assembly 2 has a front cross member 21 which is pivotally mounted. Aligned transversely to the frame tube 5, serve the two cross members 6 and 21 to support Foot plates 22. Using the foot plates 22, the Walking aid 1 can be moved without the user using his legs must press. The drive is rather done with the hands about the handles 17 of the crank 16. Let this way even longer distances for people with walking difficulties return.
- Walking training can also be done with the help of walking aid 1 respectively.
- the tread plates 22 of the Floor group 2 removed.
- the tread plates 22 of the Floor group 2 removed.
- the frame tube 5 overlaps and the two tread plates 22 in their back area presses down.
- the retaining clip loosened 24 the tread plates 22 can be lifted up and off the bottom group 2 can be removed. Because the two step plates 22 with the help of holes 25 and locating pins 26 the rear cross member 6 and the front cross member 21 are defined, there is no need in addition to the holding bracket 24 further fasteners for the tread plates 22.
- the front cross member is now 21 pivoted longitudinally under the frame tube 5 and with a Locking screw 27 secured. Holes in the bottom of the Frame tube 5 can with the fixing pins 26 of the front Cross member 21 cooperate so that it is in its position is set longitudinally under the frame tube 5.
- the walking aid 1 now offers this Users have the ability to run freely and legs to be used so that walking training is possible.
- either the front wheel 8 or the Crank 16 a freewheel, so that during such training Despite the rotating impeller 8, the handles 17 of the crank 16 are fixed and allow the user a secure hold.
- Such a freewheel can be lockable, so that when driving the walking aid through the crank movement Maneuvering backwards is possible in this way to enable the walking aid 1 in the smallest space.
- running training can also be done with the freewheel locked respectively.
- This can be done by a controlled arm movement Speed can be controlled so that either the footwork can be supported or a conscious braking effect can be achieved.
- Floor assembly 2 is reached by rear support wheels 28 supported a certain angle of inclination so that a Rollover of walking aid 1 to the rear is prevented.
- the floor group 2 deliberately builds very deep, so that the tread plates 22 are only about 60 to 70 mm above the floor and enable easy climbing onto the tread plates.
- the seat 4 as a third assembly can be used for Running training must be disassembled and also with mounted step plates 22 and a drive via the crank 16 can, depending on the condition of the user to do without the seat 4.
- the seat 4 can however, be provided during walking training on the walking aid 1 To allow breaks and can be especially when assembled Foot plates 22 and a drive of the walking aid 1 by means of the crank 16 can be provided to a real vehicle to create which the crank 16 by the user himself can be driven or pulled by means of the handle 15 can be.
- the walking aid 1 can be used to hang up shopping baskets or offer shopping bags.
- a brake be either on floor group 2 for foot operation can be provided and acts on the rear wheels 7 or which can be manually operated and for example can be attached to the support 3.
- it can be provided be to act on the brake on the front wheel 8 leave, so that easy removal of the support 3 from floor group 2 is possible.
- it can also be a separable brake transmission, for example a brake linkage, be provided so that the rear wheels 7 can be operated when the brake operation itself in Area of the support 3 takes place.
- a Walking aid 1 can be used at airports, for example.
- the already in contrast to the illustrated embodiment addressed wheels with a larger diameter can to improve the driving properties of the walking aid 1 include pneumatic tires, for example, while the smaller ones Wheels advantageously use low-maintenance solid rubber tires can have.
- the walking aid 1 in a modification of the illustrated embodiment different structural designs of the walking aid 1 conceivable.
