Definitions
- the invention is based on a connector according to the preamble of claim 1.
- EP 0600418 A1 describes a connector for an airbag system known, in the housing next to an electrical component several stamped contact elements are arranged, which for the connection of appropriate connecting cables with plug contacts are equipped.
- Such connectors are due the limited space in motor vehicles is extremely small dimensioned so that the positioning and connection individual contact elements in the housing are extremely precise and accordingly takes place consuming.
- DE 43 10 369 C2 is a contact set for one Connector described, which consists of a one-piece Stamped and bent part is produced. After completing the Shaping process with the inseparable stamped and bent part an electrical component and with connecting cables assembled. Only then is the separation of the Stamped-bent part into individual conductor tracks, either immediately subsequently or by closing a two-part Housing, the cutting pin on the housing the inserted Disconnect contact set at predetermined breaking points.
- the special one Design of the housing is in DE 44 13 756 C1 shown, wherein at least one housing part means for Has positioning and locking of the contact set, the no additional process steps are required.
- the complexity of the assembled contact set before assembly in the Housing, regardless of whether the separation of the conductor tracks has already taken place due to the minimal Dimensions of the connector are extremely complex and correspondingly expensive handling technology.
- Another housing for contact sets is from the DE 43 03 738 A1 known.
- To cover the transition from one Wiring harness on a connector is a dimensionally stable, from two Half-shell existing plastic part provided. The two Half shells are hinged together and foldable lockable with each other.
- EP 0 332 866 A2 describes a production method for a Multiple socket described, in which after bending and Align the stamped part the material bridges that the connect individual contact elements with each other, cut through and then realignment and overmolding of the contact record.
- the invention is therefore based on the object electrical connector according to the preamble of claim 1 so to design that a precise and effort-saving Installation with minimal space and with as much as possible low parts cost is made possible.
- the electrical connector according to claim 1 has the advantage that vibrations of the vehicle do not affect the Contact points impact and strain them because all components within the connector by appropriate design of the Housing are positioned stationary.
- the ladder tracks and the Contact points are defined by mandrels attached to one of the housing parts are formed, firmly bonded or precisely positioned pressed against the other housing part. Furthermore, it is possible, the components by appropriately shaped To fix admission profiles.
- the assembly of the contact elements or the housing with one electrical component is formed by in the lower housing part Supporting profiles supported, since the minimum dimensions of the Entire system with minor tolerances to problems to lead.
- the recording profile serves as an insertion aid, so that slight deviations can be compensated.
- the connecting arms of the electrical component are in the Junctions clamped and then soldered so that here a double attachment takes place, which causes contacting defects are almost impossible.
- the housing is locked by the upper and lower part protected against the entry of foreign bodies, so that too this means that it is not possible to influence the function.
- the method according to claim 5 has the advantage that the manufacture of the one-piece stamped and bent part and the separation into three separate contact elements within one Process step takes place in a tool. After this Removing the webs, the contact elements are related to the Housing shape, held precisely in the tool and synchronized in the housing part inserted. The exact orientation of the Contact elements to each other and to the housing part is already there given by the tool. This assembly process is neither Process-technically still technically complex and guaranteed high despite the minimal dimensions of the components Position accuracy, which is a problem-free assembly of the Lower housing part with the three contact elements. The then fixing the contact elements to the lower housing part takes place through a cohesive deformation of Thorns. The correctness of the fixation is visual controllable.
- the three contact elements directly on the top or Lower part of the housing attached.
- the process sequence eliminates the attachment of the undivided one-piece stamped and bent part on a support body, which then as served sufficiently stable base for the separation process, and later ensured that even after the separation of the Crosspieces the then separated conductor tracks their distance adhered to each other. Due to the exact arrangement of the Contact elements in the housing is also the subsequent assembly and the connection of the electrical components is unproblematic.
- the connector is assembled using cables different types of connection points, either for one Subsequent connection after closing the housing freely are arranged accessible, or which are within the housing suitable for immediate connection.
- Such a configuration of the connector supports that Manufacturing process.
- the soldering of a connection point is not as complex as other contacting processes that just a high-precision in this miniature application Require machine technology.
- the trained in the housing Support profiles for the components and contact elements support the positioning process of the machines, because Tolerances in the placement paths of the machines can be caused by the intake profiles, which then act as an insertion aid, are balanced become.
- Figures 1 and 2 represent a stamped and bent part 1 and three, respectively Contact elements 2, 3 and 4 on an enlarged scale of 5: 1 represents, while Figures 3 and 4 also a Represent insulating body 22 on the same scale of 5: 1.
- the one-piece stamped and bent part 1 is shown, the for example made of hardened brass sheet with a thickness of 0.25 mm. From this brass sheet a corresponding one was created the pattern of the connector 5 shaped blank punched out, the has three openings 6, 7 and 8, which are elsewhere are explained. Usually with the punching process several blanks and a carrier strip 9 made in one piece, so that there are no individual parts during further processing but the whole arrangement can be handled. The Outside dimensions of a blank including the Carrier strip 9 are approximately 25 x 25 mm. From every cut then three contact elements 2, 3 and 4 are bent, the are mechanically connected by webs 10 and 11 and that represent one-piece stamped and bent part 1.
- Each contact element 2, 3 and 4 has two different types Junctions 12, 13; 14, 15 and 16, 17 on by perforated conductor tracks 18, 19 and 20 electrically with each other are connected.
- the stamped and bent part 1 created in this way is shown in inserted a tool in which the two webs 10 and 11th separated and the carrier strip 9 are removed.
- Arise three individual contact elements 2, 3 and 4 (see Figure 2), which in Tool fixed according to the assembly picture of the connector 5 stay.
- the contact elements 2, 3 and 4 synchronously and precisely in position in a lower housing part 21 Insulated 22 introduced.
- the contact elements 2, 3 and 4 are formed in the lower housing part 21 Recording profiles 23, 24 and 25 used while at the same time the openings 6, 7 and 8 with in the lower housing part 21 trained thorns 26, 27 and 28 cooperate.
- the fixation the contact elements 2, 3 and 4 is by hot stamping the mandrels 26, 27 and 28 ended so that no change in position is more possible. (see Figure 3)
- the insulating body 22 is made of a plastic and is from an upper housing part 29 and the lower housing part 21 assembled so that the insulating body 22 closed a has an angled outer shape.
- the contact elements 2 and 4 each have a solder terminal contact realized junction 12, 17, between which a Recording profile 30 is formed in the lower housing part 21.
- Electrical component 40 here a choke coil, is after the Equipping the lower housing part 21 with the contact elements 2, 3 and 4 inserted into this receiving profile 30, the Connection arms 41 and 42 in the connection points 12 and 17 jammed and soldered.
- connection point 13 of the contact element 2 and the Junction 14 of the contact element 3 are parallel to each other in a housing leg 31 and are as Box contacts trained. In these connection points 13 and 14th stripped lines (not shown) become one Cable set inserted and soldered.
- the junction 15 of the Contact element 3 and the junction 16 of the Contact element 4 are also parallel to each other in one Housing legs 33 and are in their longitudinal extent bent solder tails formed.
- the connection points 15 and 16 are not yet connected to contact pins.
- the insulating body 22 has including the housing legs 31, 32 and 33 in the closed state an angled outer shape on ( Figure 4).
- the housing legs 31 and 32 are located one on top of the other and are over the cutouts 35 and the lugs 37 locked.
