Description
In der US-A-4 447 817 ist eine Druckeinheit mit einem Transportmittel für zu bedruckende Blätter beschrieben, bei dem die Blätter ebenfalls mit Transportriemen transportiert werden. Damit ein rutschfreier Transport gesichert ist, befinden sich hinter den perforierten Transportriemen auf der dem Druckkopf abgewandten Riemenseite in Transportrichtung vor und hinter dem Druckkopf jeweils eine Unterdruckkammer. Der Unterdruck saugt die Blätter fest an die Riemen und verhindert damit ein Rutschen. Am Druckkopf befindet sich eine Kulisse mit Kanälen und Öffnungen, die an eine dritte Unterdruckkammer, die sich auf der Druckerseite befindet, angeschlossen sind.
Der Unterdruck in der Kulisse sorgt dafür, daß die zu bedruckenden Blätter im Druckbereich an der Kulisse anliegen und somit immer ein definierter Abstand zu den Druckdrüsen gewährleistet ist. Nachteilig hierbei ist die Notwendigkeit von drei Unterdruckkammern sowie die Nichtbedruckbarkeit von Sendungen mit einem relativ großen Dickenspektrum, da nur ein geringer Spalt am Druckkopf für das zu bedruckende Material vorhanden ist. Beide bekannten Druckeinrichtungen sind auch nicht geeignet, in hoher Geschwindigkeit an den Druckköpfen vorbeibewegte Sendungen zu bedrucken.

Claims (9)
- Vorrichtung zum Drucken von Markierungen auf flachen Sendungen (3) mit einer oder mehreren Druckstationen (8a), die jeweils mindestens einen Druckkopf (8) aufweisen, bei der die Sendungen (3) einzeln an den Druckstationen (8a) mittels einer Fördereinrichtung mit gelochtem Transportband (4) vorbeitransportiert und dabei an einer parallel zu den Druckflächen der Druckköpfe (8) angeordneten Kulisse (1) geführt werden, und bei der in der jeweiligen Druckstation (8a) eine Unterdruckvorrichtung (5) hinter dem gelochten Transportband (4) angeordnet ist, durch die mittels Unterdruck eine Normalkraft auf die Sendungen im wesentlichen senkrecht zur Förderrichtung der Sendungen ausgeübt wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daßdie Fördereinrichtung neben dem gelochten Transportband (4) noch ein Deckband (2) enthält, die paarweise angeordnet sind und zwischen denen die Sendungen (3) reibschlüssig mitgezogen werden,sich die Unterdruckvorrichtung (5), die Kulisse (1) und die Druckköpfe (8) auf der dem gelochten Transportband (4) zugewandten Seite befinden,sich die Fördereinrichtung und die dahinter angeordnete Unterdruckvorrichtung (5) in Transportrichtung seitlich von den Druckköpfen (8) befinden,die Öffnung der Unterdruckvorrichtung (5) an die Breite des Lochbereiches des Transportbandes (4) angepaßt ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Deckband (2) ein die Transportbandlöcher abdeckende Breite aufweist, so daß ein Verschluß der Löcher des Transportbandes (4) durch das Deckband (2) erfolgt, wenn sich keine Sendung (3) vor der Unterdruckvorrichtung (5) befindet.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 2, wobei im Bereich jeder Druckstation (8a) die Kulisse (1) derart angeordnet ist, daß die jeweils zu bedruckende Oberfläche der Sendungen (3) einen vorgegebenen Abstand von den Druckköpfen (8) hat.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, wobei eine Saugdruckeinstellvorrichtung vorgesehen ist, um die Normalkraft konstant zu halten.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, wobei als Druckköpfe (8) Tintenstrahldrucker vorgesehen sind.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 5, wobei die Druckköpfe (8) jeweils unter einem vorgegebenen Winkel α zur Transportrichtung angeordnet sind.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei jede Druckstation (8a) mindestens zwei in Transportrichtung hintereinander angeordnete Druckköpfe (8) aufweist, die jeweils zeitlich versetzt drucken.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 7, wobei die Druckköpfe (8) derart zeitlich versetzt drucken, daß eine einheitliche Markierung gedruckt wird.
- Druckvorrichtung zum Drucken von Markierungen auf flachen Sendungen, wobei mindestens zwei Vorrichtungen nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8 vorgesehen sind und eine dieser Vorrichtungen für das Bedrucken jeweils einer Seite der Sendungen (3) vorgesehen ist.
