Definitions
- the present invention relates to a diamond grinding tool for Surface processing of natural and artificial stone, e.g. from the US-A-2,883,807 is known with one for his Central axis rotatably arranged base body on which a number The segment carrier body holding the diamond grinding segment is detachably fastened are, the diamond grinding segments substantially coaxial to The central axis protrude from the base body, with each segment carrier body a separate receptacle is formed in the base body and the Recording has a radial and an axial stop surface on which the segment carrier body rests.
- Natural stones such as marble, granite, etc.
- artificial stones such as for example concrete, cast stone (cast stone consists of a Mix of concrete and natural stone aggregates. Because the supplements are the Determine the strength and the appearance of the concrete block here Aggregates of less abrasive soft rock such as marble, limestone down to very abrasive hard rock, such as very hard, quartz-rich granite), hard stone, brick, refractory stone or the like, are used in large grinding lines and bridge milling machines Surface machined to give you a flat and / or smooth surface receive. These grinding systems have up to ten connected in series Grinding heads, which are at least partially equipped with diamond grinding wheels are. Here, pot cutters are preferably used, depending on the Embodiment have a diameter of 200 mm to 1000 mm and rotate at high speed around its central axis.
- the natural or artificial stones are continuously on a conveyor belt fed to the grinding heads arranged in series, the feed speed is set so that infeed depths of the invention Grinding tools of several millimeters are possible.
- Diamond grinders for surface processing of glass, concrete and Known natural stone, in which the diamond grinding wheel on a round, disk-like base body rotating about its central axis is arranged.
- This diamond grinding wheel consists of one Segment carrier body and a diamond grinding segment soldered to it together. If the diamond grinding segments are now used up, so the diamond grinders must be removed from the diamond grinding tool and will be replaced by new ones. It is theoretically possible remove the grinding wheels individually, but this is done in practice not because the space under the pot cutter is too small is scarce, so that the fitter can work properly under it. That is why it is becoming increasingly common to observe that the fitters still do Remove the grinding tool as a whole and the grinding tools outside the Replace grinding system. But this leads to long set-up times and correspondingly long downtimes of the entire grinding system.
- a grinding tool according to US 2,720,733 is not in the Location, the high ones that occur when grinding natural and artificial stone Absorb forces as the individual, over the circumference of the grinding tool distributed grinding wheels are not sufficiently anchored. Much more there is the problem that the circumferential direction on the grinding wheel acting force can only be absorbed by the fastening screw must, which leads to a high load on this screw. Hence can the high forces that occur when working with natural and artificial stone not be included, so that a processing of natural and Artificial stone is not economically possible with this grinding tool.
- a grinding tool is known, the grinding tool are held individually in the base plate. These are cuboid Abrasives are provided in the appropriate grinding tool Recesses held by a preloaded spring. This too Grinding wheels are installed and removed in the axial direction. To do this by means of an auxiliary tool, the spring can be stretched further around the To release grinding wheel, which is then in the axial direction from Grinding tool can be removed. By using a It is also an auxiliary tool for replacing the grinding wheels Grinding tools of the DD 203, 852 not, or not in an economical manner, possible to replace the grinding wheels.
- the grinding tool of this grinding tool is also not for diamond grinding tools suitable because the high, when editing natural and Forced stone forces are not absorbed by the grinding wheel can be.
- the present invention is based on the object to create a diamond grinding tool in which the set-up times are short and the economic use of diamond abrasives is great.
- the invention proposed the diamond grinding tool of the type mentioned to further develop such that the recording is open to the outside is formed so that the segment carrier body in the radial direction on Base body is mountable that the radial stop surface opposite the Center axis is inclined, and that the segment carrier body is wedge-shaped, the radial to the base body coming side of the segment carrier body is designed as a wedge surface, those on the correspondingly inclined with respect to the central axis Abutment surface of the base body rests.
- the segment carrier body in radial direction, that is to say to install or remove from the side.
- a diamond grinding tool manufactured according to this technical teaching has the advantage that the segment carrier body is accessible from the side are, so that it is sufficient to replace the segment carrier body, a Remove the protective wall of the grinding system.
- the expansion of the complete Grinding tool is thus obsolete, with the result that the work of the Fitter is significantly simplified, and that the set-up times, including the Downtimes of the grinding system can be drastically reduced.
- segment carrier body in simpler Way from the side, that is, in the radial direction to the outside open recording can be inserted into the recording in to be fixed in a precisely defined position.
- the radial stop surface is inclined by up to 45 °, preferably 30 °, with respect to the central axis. This gives the segment carrier body a slightly wedge-shaped shape Design. This has the advantage that a precise positioning of the approximately 50 gram segment carrier body on the base body almost guaranteed tolerance-free.
- the segment carrier body has one right and one left running perpendicular to the circumferential direction Contact surface with which the segment carrier body on corresponding, counter surfaces in operative connection with the base body is present.
- the two counter surfaces form a guide and cause a reliable hold of the grinding wheel on the base body.
- the segment carrier body on the right and left is identical, can this in both right-handed and left-handed grinding tools be used so that the risk of incorrect assembly is minimized becomes.
- Another advantage of a grinding tool designed according to the invention results from the accident-proof method of working, especially at Grinding machine systems in which the same and in the same time Countercurrent is worked.
- the counter surfaces are on a projection formed on the base body. These counter surfaces limit the recording in the circumferential direction and ensure thus a reliable hold of the grinding wheel on the grinding tool.
- the opposite counter surfaces in a simple manner exactly parallel can be manufactured aligned around the also parallel system areas exhibiting segment carrier body fit and almost free of play to record. This recording, delimited by the four sides, encapsulates the Segment carrier body in the directions (circumferential, axial and radial direction), in which the forces act on the grinding wheel, so that the highest Forces occurring during grinding are reliably absorbed.
- the segment carrier body over the main body over.
- Another advantage is that especially when wet grinding by distancing the grinding segment from the base body coolant escaping the base body also the grinding segment then still adequately achieved when it is almost completely is worn, that is, when the gap between the workpiece and the Base body of the tool has assumed a minimum.
- the segment carrier body is a radially aligned screw held on the base body, so that the input and Removal of the segment carrier body in a simple manner is accomplished.
- a cover ring on the base body mounted which has the stop surfaces of all segment carrier bodies and against which all abrasive wheels rest.
- a further advantageous embodiment is between the radial Stop surface, the axial stop surface, the right and / or the left counter surface and the segment carrier body provided a grease film.
- the segment carrier body is made of metal, in particular sintered metal (sintered metal), on which the Diamond grinding segment advantageously soldered or welded is.
- sintered metal sintered metal
- the use of metal has the advantage that a very stable and unbreakable segment carrier body is created, which also the frictional heat that occurs, especially during dry grinding reliably derives into the base body.
- Diamond grinding tools can simultaneously be used for face and side grinding be used.
- the radially and tangentially occurring here Frictional forces are caused by the seated in the seat Segment carrier body reliably recorded.
- the grinding tool according to the invention can be used both in wet grinding and can be used advantageously in the dry grinding process.
- the grinding tool 1 shown in Figures 1 and 2 comprises a Base body 2 with a number of abrasive bodies 3 and a cover ring 4, which is attached in a groove of the base body 2 and serves as a stop for the grinding wheel 3.
- 66 (with a tool diameter of 800 mm) about 50 grams heavy grinding wheel 3 equidistant appropriate.
- a grinding tool can also be used can be used with a different number of grinding wheels 3.
- the segment carrier body 5 is wedge-shaped, the on the base body 2 for Coming side of the segment carrier body 5 as a wedge surface 7 is trained. In the assembled state, the wedge surface 7 lies on one accordingly inclined stop surface 8 of the base body 2 and offers the segment carrier body 5 thus a large area.
- this overhang 9 it is Diamond grinding segment 6 soldered so that it is vertically downwards protrudes from the base body 2.
- the diamond grinding segment 6 arranged parallel to the central axis of the base body 2.
- the segment carrier body 5 lies on a stop surface 10 of the cover ring 4 to a counter bearing for receiving the axial To form forces.
- the cover ring 4 is flat on its underside, so that all segment carrier body 5 get the same stop surface and even wear of the diamond grinding segments is guaranteed.
- the segment carrier body 5 has a through hole for receiving a screw 11. With this screw 11, the segment carrier body screwed to the base body 2 and by means of a spring ring 12 secured against loosening.
- Equidistant receptacles 14 are on the outside of the base body 2 incorporated, in which the segment carrier body 5 fits and almost are used without play.
- This receptacle 14 is in the radial direction the stop surface 8 in the axial direction through the stop surface 10 and limited in the circumferential direction by two counter surfaces 15.
- the counter surfaces 15 are arranged on projections 16 which are integral with the Base body 2 are connected. While the segment carrier body 5 with its wedge surface 7 rests on the stop surface 8 of the base body 2, the counter surfaces 15 come with corresponding ones on the segment carrier body 5 trained contact surfaces 17 for contact, so that the projection 16 supports the grinding body 3 in the circumferential direction.
- This diamond grinding tool 1 designed according to the invention can used in both wet and dry grinding processes become.
- the diamond grinding tool 1 in the wet grinding process is coolant due to the centrifugal force from the Water outlet 13 thrown out and hits the diamond grinding segment 6 for cooling.
- the screw 11 is loosened and removed before the grinding body manually in the radial direction from the base body 2 is pulled out of the receptacle 14. Because the present Diamond grinding tool 1 is aligned horizontally, the grinding wheel 3 removed from the diamond grinding tool 1 in the horizontal direction.
- the diamond grinding tool described above can be used in grinding machines, Grinding systems with belt feed or in double support machines opposing grinding tools can be used advantageously.
- the diamond grinding tool becomes horizontal or vertical as required aligned.
