Definitions
- the present invention relates to the use of a pre-assembled Holder for electrical connection and mechanical Stop of a bimetallic switch of a temperature monitor, wherein the holder is made of an electrically insulating material manufactured carrier part, on which two before insertion of the rear derailleur attached to the support part, electrically conductive contact parts are held with their holding ends protrude above the carrier part.
- the invention further relates to a temperature monitor with a Bimetal switchgear and a holder for electrical connection and for mechanical hold of the rear derailleur, the holder is formed as above.
- a temperature monitor known from DE-U 90 04 941 has a plastic frame on top and bottom one electrically conductive contact plate is snapped onto each.
- the frame In the frame is a bimetal rear derailleur, which between the contact plates are jammed. The contact is made here by placing the upper contact plate on the cover and of the lower contact plate to the bottom of the rear derailleur.
- the upper one is first Contact plate snapped onto the frame before from the The rear derailleur is inserted into the frame. Finally, the bottom contact plate is placed from below, so that the rear derailleur is jammed between the two contact plates is held, the locking projections of the frame part the Form abutments for the clamping forces.
- Temperature monitor is disadvantageous in that the mechanical Tolerances of the sheet metal parts and the plastic frame are very small must be applied so that the necessary contact forces can be.
- these temperature monitors are mass-produced are the sheet metal parts and plastic frames in very large Quantity produced, the tolerances not always being met become. Furthermore, these items are in large lots delivered to the manufacturers, which always happens that sheet metal parts in the lot during transport or Bend pouring processes.
- Another disadvantage of the known temperature monitor is in connection with the required contact security between the bimetal rear derailleur and the ones that form the external connections Contact plates. Because the contact forces through bent tabs the contact plates are applied, this contacting is sufficient often not the long-term requirements, because the high loads in everyday operation, e.g. by continuous vibrations by the Devices protected by temperature monitors weaken the snap-in connection. Especially when the tolerances of the mated Contact reliability can add up to components in an unfavorable manner are no longer present after a short period of operation.
- the known temperature monitor or its Garr the high manufacturing costs due to the wage intensive Assembly, the high scrap rate and with the vertical integration associated storage costs perceived as disadvantageous.
- a Another disadvantage of the known temperature monitor is that Particularly in long-term operation, contact reliability is not always guaranteed.
- This temperature monitor also has the same disadvantages like the one discussed in detail above.
- the welded joint can result from the vibrations associated with the use open, the mechanical tolerances can be too small Ensure contact security and the required manufacturing time undesirably increases manufacturing costs.
- the object underlying the invention is achieved in this way completely solved.
- the holder is first pre-assembled by the two contact parts are attached to the carrier part, which protrude with their holding ends over the support part, where they form a receptacle for the rear derailleur.
- This holder can be stored as a pre-assembled component, so that the number of the individual parts for the final assembly of the temperature monitors significantly reduced.
- This assembly of the holder itself can namely already done at a supplier who relies on has specialized such sheet metal or plastic techniques.
- the manufacturer of the temperature monitor then obtains this himself pre-assembled holder, into which he made the himself Switchgear only pushes in.
- the associated lower manufacturing depth decreases because of lower number of individual parts and the reduced storage costs also the manufacturing costs for the temperature monitor noticeably. Furthermore, the costs are very high simple assembly reduces the insertion of the rear derailleur in the pre-assembled holder can namely by means of a manufacturing machine respectively.
- the holding ends of the Carrier part are kept under tension when the rear derailleur is inserted between the holding ends.
- an insulating cap on the Holding ends is postponed in the postponed state at least partially surrounds the rear derailleur and the holding ends on the rear derailleur.
- This measure increases in an advantageous and constructive manner simple way the contact security between the contact parts and the rear derailleur, while isolating the Derailleur and the holding ends is achieved.
- the insulating cap can also be attached using a production machine, so that the manufacturing costs are hardly increased, especially since Insulating cap is an inexpensive plastic part. Overall, this measure hardly increases overall Manufacturing costs significantly improve product safety.
- the increased mechanical and functional security is under other ensures that the insulating cap the rear derailleur not only includes, but in an immovable Holds position so that damage to an assembled Temperature monitor under adverse conditions e.g. while transporting as bulk goods can be prevented.
- the contact parts engage are inserted or shot into the carrier part.
- This measure advantageously enables the separate one Manufacture of the contact parts and the carrier part, with in production lines available in the plastics industry or -machine the supplied contact parts after production the carrier parts are pushed into it, snapped into place or "shot in” become.
- Such manufacturing processes have been introduced so that the pre-assembled holder with very low cost can be produced.
- connection ends have, which protrude beyond the carrier part.
- connection ends can Depending on the specification, as clamping ends, soldering ends or pins be trained.
- At least one of the holding ends a locking part, preferably a locking lug or a projection having.
- the advantage here is that by the latch or Head start for a captive hold of the inserted Rear derailleur can be taken care of, because in addition to the Clamping forces required for a frictional mounting of the rear derailleur care in the holder, there is also by the latch another positive locking.
- the switchgear at least partially surrounding protective cap is provided on their sides facing the holding ends Has openings through which the rear derailleur with the Stop ends in plant.
- this separate protective cap ensures mechanical Protection and electrical insulation of the rear derailleur what the Operational safety increased.
- it enables Locking the rear derailleur with the holding ends, like this already addressed in connection with the latch mentioned above has been.
- the protective cap one extending radially outward from one of the openings Guide groove is provided, the one locking lug on the facing Stop end is assigned.
- this measure is advantageous during assembly, because when inserting the protective cap containing the rear derailleur the locking lug of one holding end can be between the holding ends run in this guide groove, causing the insertion movement is performed so that there is no jamming or jamming is coming.
- the locking lug then engages in the one assigned to the guide groove Opening and not only ensures a positive fit Locking the protective cap with the bracket, but also at the same time for reliable electrical contact.
- the protective cap ensures that the contact area between the locking lug and the lid or the bottom part of the Switchgear is protected from external influences.
- the protective cap with connection surfaces is provided, which are connected to the rear derailleur and with the protective cap inserted between the holding ends the holders are in attachment.
- rear derailleurs are also used who can not take up a high contact pressure themselves. These rear derailleurs can now be inserted into the protective cap and connected to their pads, the Protective cap itself a very high one at their connecting surfaces Can take up contact pressure.
- encapsulated rear derailleurs that usually a housing with a metallic cover part as well have a metallic base part closed by this, can of course be contacted directly via this Cover part and this bottom part take place.
- the contact forces can be up to 50 kp, which is already the case with one purely frictional connection between the stop ends and the rear derailleur leads to a mechanically very secure fit.
- FIG. 1 is generally at 10 in an exploded view Shown temperature monitor 10 shown, the pre-assembled Holder 11 and a bimetallic derailleur 12 includes, in of the preassembled holder 11 to be described later is recorded and held.
- the holder 11 comprises an electrically insulating one Material manufactured support part 13 on which two contact parts 14, 15 are held.
- the contact parts 14, 15 are made of electrical conductive material, preferably metal, manufactured and in the Cast part 13 or sprayed with this. To this Purposes are on the contact parts 14, 15 projections 16, 17th provided, which prevent the contact parts 14, 15 from the support member 13 can be pulled out.
- the carrier part 13 first is cast or injection molded from plastic, with through holes be released for receiving the contact parts 14, 15. The contact parts 14, 15 are then subsequently in the carrier part 13 inserted ("shot").
- the contact parts 14, 15 protrude on both sides over the carrier part 13 and have connection ends 18, 19 on the right in FIG. 1 with which they are attached to a conveyor belt 21.
- This conveyor belt 21 has transport holes in a known manner 22 on and serves the contact parts 14, 15 and / or ready-assembled holder 11 "taped" ready.
- the rear derailleur comprising a cover part 27 and a base part 28 12 has a thickness indicated at 29, which is somewhat larger is as the distance 26.
- present switching mechanism 12 between the holding ends 24, 25 are pushed by the carrier part in the manner of cantilever beams 13 held apart parts, creating a frictional Connection between the holding ends 24, 25 and the Cover part 27 or the bottom part 28 comes about.
- the Distances 26 and 29 and the material of the support member 13 can 12 forces are exerted on the inserted switching mechanism, which are up to 50 kp. This is not just a very safe one mechanical hold of the switching mechanism 12 on the holder 11 is ensured, the electrical contact is also very reliable.
- the pre-assembled holder 11 can now or at the manufacturer of the plastic support part 13 pre-assembled are as shown in the right half of FIG. 1.
- a latch 30b can be provided which, when the switching mechanism 12 is inserted snap into the holder 11 together for a good to ensure mechanical hold of the switching mechanism 12.
- an insulating cap 31 is shown, the opening 32 is selected such that it is pushed over the holding ends 24, 25 can be and this presses on the rear derailleur 12.
- the insulating cap 31 ensures even with unfavorable tolerances thus for a secure seat of the rear derailleur on the holder 11.
- the insulating cap 31 has a recess in its interior 33, to which a nose 34 on the holding end 25 is assigned, that the pushed-on insulating cap snaps onto the holder 11.
- the insulating cap 31 ensures its inner profile 35 also for electrical insulation and mechanical Protection of the rear derailleur 12.
- FIG. 2 it is shown that the switching mechanism 12 in a protective cap 36 is received, the bottom opening 37 is selected so that the rear derailleur 12 inserted into the protective cap 36 can be.
- Protective cap 36 Remote from the bottom opening 37
- Protective cap 36 has an upper opening 38, to which an after externally open radially extending guide groove 39 connects.
- the guide groove 39 has a smaller depth than the upper opening 38.
- the guide groove 39 is a locking lug 41 at the upper holding end 24 assigned to a base 42 during the bottom opening 37 is assigned to the lower holding end 25.
- the latch 41 runs in the Guide groove 39, which prevents jamming. If the protective cap 36 far enough between the holding ends 24, 25 is inserted, the base 42 snaps into the bottom opening 37 and contacts the bottom part 28 at the same time the latch 41 in the upper opening 38 and contacted there the cover part 27. In this way, the protective cap 36 with the switching mechanism 12 located there captively the holder 11 held while by the pressure of the holding ends 24, 25 to each other to the locking lug 41 and the base 42 contact-safe rest on the cover part 27 or the bottom part 28.
