Am Druckplattenspeicher 24 ist die Druckplattenbereitstellungseinrichtung 28 bezüglich der Zylinderachse 2 schwenkbar gelagert. Die Druckplattenbereitstellungseinrichtung 28 weist zu beiden Seiten des Abführschachtes 27 jeweils einen Schwenkarm 32 auf, die mit dem Druckplattenspeicher 24 mittels Achszapfen 33 schwenkbar verbunden sind. Diese Schwenkarme 32 sind an ihrem zylindernahen Ende durch eine erste Einhängeleiste 34 verbunden. Diese Einhängeleiste 34 erstreckt sich axial, parallel zur Zylinderachse 2 und weist nasenförmigen Querschnitt auf. Ein vom Plattenzylinder 1 wegweisendes Ende der Einhängeleiste 34 ist mit einer Fase 38 versehen, die derart ausgebildet ist, daß eine Höhe h38 der Fase 38 bzgl. der Auflagefläche 36 größer als eine Höhe h21 der hinteren Einhängeabkantung 21 der Druckplatte 11. Somit dient die Fase 38 der Einhängeleiste 34 als Führungsfläche für die hintere Einhängeabkantung 21 der Druckplatte 11. Zusätzlich zur ersten Einhängeleiste 34 kann wie im vorliegenden Beispiel in einem Abstand a eine zweite, zylinderferne Einhängeleiste 39 zwischen den Schwenkarmen 32 befestigt sein. Sie kann aber auch eigene Schwenkarme 32 aufweisen und somit unabhängig von der ersten Einhängeleiste 34 schwenkbar gelagert sein. Durch das Schwenken der Druckplattenbereitstellungseinrichtung 28 um ca. 90° wird eine Bereitstellungspositon "B" erreicht in der die Auflagefläche 36 der Einhängeleiste 34 und damit die Druckplatte 11 annähernd vertikal steht. Ist nur eine Einhängeleiste 34 vorhanden, kann der Schwenkvorgang beispielsweise wiederholt werden.
