- Device for unwinding a material strip (40) from a roll (3), having two supporting arms (4, 5) which are pivotably mounted cross-wise to the strip (40) at a distance from one another and which exhibit means (grip heads 6, 7) for the reception and rotatable holding of the roll (3), the swivel bearings (12) of the supporting arms (4, 5) being movable between two positions which are mutually offset horizontally cross-wise to the swivel axis, characterised in that the swivel bearings (12) of the supporting arms (4, 5), which are mounted such that they can be swivelled upwards from the roll reception position (a) in the direction of the roll unwind position (b), can be moved horizontally, supported on the ground.
- Device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the supporting arms (4, 5) are fastened in a rotation-proof manner to a rotatable shaft (8) which extends parallel to the rotational axis of the roll (3) and can be moved horizontally cross-wise to this axis.
- Device according to Claim 2, characterised in that the shaft (8) exhibits lateral rollers (10, 11) and is rotatably fastened on one side to a truck (14 - 17) which can be moved by means of a drive system (13).
- Device according to Claim 2 or 3, characterised by a swivel lever (27) fastened to the shaft (8) and having a pivot drive system (29 - 31).
- Device according to one of Claims 2 - 4 having a travel drive system (13) on one side, characterised by a synchronising device (19 - 24) for the uniform travel of the shaft (8) parallel to the roll axis.
