Für den Druckplattenwechsel wird das Magazin zunächst ein Stück nach oben verschoben und dann an den Plattenzylinder angeschwenkt. Dadurch entsteht sowohl unterhalb des Magazins sowie darüber jeweils ein Spalt, der aus Gründen der Arbeitssicherheit mit zusätzlichen Verschutzungsmitteln abzusichern ist. Ferner schwenkt das Magazin mit seinem oberen Ende in den Raum zwischen den Druckwerken. Hier ist daher durch weitere aufwendige Schutzmaßnahmen zu gewährleisten, daß keine Person sich zwischen den Druckwerken befindet bzw. daß dadurch keine Verletzungsgefahr besteht. Auch besteht Verletzungsgefahr beim Zurückschwenken des Magazins in die Vertikalposition, da hier die Kanten von Magazin und Druckwerk wie die Teile einer Schere zusammenwirken. In dem pneumatisch bewegbaren Schiebeschutz vor den Druckwerkszylindern ist dazu eine schwenkbar und an den Plattenzylinder an- und abstellbar gelagerte Leiteinrichtung vorgesehen, welche als sich über die Formatbreite der Druckplatte ersteckendes Blechprofil mit einem an dem Ende angeformten Einführschiene ausgebildet ist. Bei dieser Einrichtung ergreift der Drucker die herausgeförderte alte Druckplatte und zieht sie aus der geöffneten Druckanfangs-Spannschiene. Sodann wird die Leiteinrichtung an den Plattenzylinder angestellt und der Drucker führt eine neue Druckplatte über die Leiteinrichtung in die Druckanfangs-Spannschiene. Durch die Einführschiene der Leiteinrichtung ergibt sich ein selbsttätiges Einfädeln der Druckplattenvorderkante in den Erfassungsbereich der Druckanfangs-Spannschiene. Sowohl beim Drucken als auch beim Ausführen einer gebrauchten Druckplatte wird die Leiteinrichtung vom Plattenzylinder abgestellt. In dieser Grundstellung der Leiteinrichtung kann das als Schutz ausgebildete Magazin zu Wartungszwecken vertikal nach oben geschoben werden. In Fig. 3 ist mit a die Grundposition der Leiteinrichtung 8, 9 und somit auch die Grundposition von Andrückrolle 25 sowie Abkantleiste 26 dargestellt. Beim Aufziehen der neuen Druckplatte um den Außenumfang des Plattenzylinders 1 ist die Andrückrolle 25 an diesen angestellt, die Abkantleiste 26 jedoch vom Plattenzylinder 1 abgestellt. Die an der Abkantleiste 26 angebrachte Leiteinrichtung 8, 9 nimmt somit die gestrichelt dargestellte Position b ein. Die an dem Plattenzylinder 1 angestellte Andrückrolle 25 ist dabei ebenfalls gestrichelt dargestellt. Die Länge der an der Abkantleiste 26 angebrachten Leiteinrichtung 8, 9 ist dabei derartig, daß eine durch den Schlitz 21 eingeführte und auf den Anschlägen 16 abgestellte neue Druckplatte nicht behindert wird. Nachdem eine neue Druckplatte am Druckende DE in der Spannschiene 4 befestigt wurde, werden Andrückrolle 25 nebst Abkantleiste 26 wieder vom Plattenzylinder abgestellt und es wird die Position gemäß Fig. 3 angefahren. Sodann wird die Andrückrolle 25 über die Stellmittel an den Plattenzylinder 1 angestellt, wobei Anschlagmittel verhindern, daß die Andrückrolle 25 in die Zylindergrube 2 hinein fällt. Die Leiteinrichtung 8, 9 wird somit von der Stellung a in die Stellung b verschwenkt. Sodann erfolgt das Anstellen der Abkantleiste 26 und damit das Verschwenken der Leiteinrichtung 8, 9 in die Druckplattenzuführstellung, also in die Stellung c. Wie dargestellt ist dabei die erfindungsgemäße Leiteinrichtung 8, 9 derartig geformt, daß sich ein Teil des Blechprofiles an die Oberseite der vorderen Spannschiene 3 anschmiegt und somit der mittlere Abschnitt der Leiteinrichtung 8, 9, die sogenannte Einführschiene 9, mit der zum Plattenzylinder 1 gewandten Seite die Einführfläche 15 für die neu zuzuführende Druckplatte bildet. Durch das Verschwenken der Leiteinrichtung 8, 9 wurde mit deren schwenkbaren Ende die auf den Anschlägen 16 abgestellte Druckplatte von diesen abgenommen und kann nun von Hand in den Erfassungsbereich 17 eingeführt werden.3, the guide device 8, 9 as a wide and Metal rail bent by two obtuse angles. Auch der Abkantleiste 26 sind nicht dargestellte Anschlagmittel zugeordnet, die an der Leiteinrichtung 8, 9 angebracht sein können und ein Abstützen auf der Oberseite der Spannschiene 3 oder den Schmitzringen des Plattenzylinders 1 bewirken. In der Ausführungsform gemäß Fig. 3 sind die Leitflächen 18 insbesondere als axial voneinander beabstandete, biegsame Kunststoffzungen ausgebildet und an dem Führungsblech 11 angebracht. Eine derartige Ausführung behindert daher nicht das Abnehmen der auf den Anschlägen 16 abgestellten neuen Druckplatte durch Vorschwenken der Leiteinrichtung 8, 9 aus der Stellung b in die Stellung c. Abschließend sei noch erwähnt, daß das Ausführen einer gebrauchten Druckplatte aus dem Schlitz 22 über die Leitflächen 18 erfolgt. Claims (10)

  1. Cassette for automatically exchanging printing plates of a printing press, particularly an offset sheet printing press, wherein the cassette is installed as a protection (6) vertically movable in front of the printing unit and serves for the feeding in of a new printing plate readied in the magazine to the plate cylinder (1) as well as for receiving a used printing plate from the plate cylinder (1),
    characterised in that,
    within the cassette constructed as a protection (6) in front of the printing unit stops (16) are installed on to which a printing plate located in the protection (6) can be deposited with its front edge, and that below the cassette a guide device (8, 9) which can be set against the plate cylinder (1) is arranged by means of which after setting on the guide device (8, 9) against the plate cylinder (1) the new printing plate can be fed substantially tangentially against the periphery of the plate cylinder (1).
  2. Cassette according to Claim 1,
    characterised in that,
    the cassette forming the protection (6) in front of the printing unit has two slots (21, 22) at the upper end of the protection (6), wherein in each case one slot (21, 22) is provided for receiving the new as well as the used printing plate.
  3. Cassette according to Claim 1 or 2,
    characterised in that,
    the stops (16) installed within the protection (6) of the cassette penetrate through perforations within the guide device (8, 9).
  4. Cassette at least according to Claims 1 and 2,
    characterised in that,
    a rubber lip (23) is installed at the slot (22) provided for the used printing plate, by means of which the printing plate can be held against the force of its weight.
  5. Cassette according to one of the preceding claims
    characterised in that the guide device (8, 9) is constructed as a curved sheet metal profile (8) suspended on a horizontal swivel axis (7) with a running-in rail (9) installed on its swivellable end.
  6. Cassette according to Claim 5,
    characterised in that,
    the horizontal swivel axis (7) is installed in the vertically movable cassette which is constructed as a protection (6) in front of the printing unit.
  7. Cassette according to one of the preceding Claims,
    characterised in that,
    additional to the guide device (8, 9) a further guide surface (18) is provided on the side turned towards the plate cylinder (1) via which a used printing plate may be fed away.
  8. Cassette according to at least one of the preceding Claims 1, 2, 3, 4 or 7,
    characterised in that the guide device (8, 9) can be set against the plate cylinder (1) via linear guides.
  9. Cassette according to at least one of the preceding Claims 1, 2, 3, 4 or 7,
    characterised in that,
    the guide device (8, 9) is mounted swivellably about an axis fixed with respect to the frame and running parallel to the axis of the plate cylinder (1).
  10. Cassette at least according to Claim 9,
    characterised in that,
    the guide device (8, 9) is installed on a bending-off bar (26) which serves for bending off and introducing the print end edge of the printing plate and is arranged relative to a pressing-on roller (25) mounted fixed with respect to the frame and which can be set against the plate cylinder (1), wherein the bending-off bar (26) is mounted movably with respect to the pressing-on roller (25).
