Der Schaft der Schraube 15 definiert somit in Verbindung mit den Abmessungen des Langloches 14 den möglichen Verschwenkweg zwischen Grund- und Arbeitsstellung der erfindungsgemäßen Stützvorrichtung 6. Claims (4)

  1. Device for feeding a printing plate to the plate cylinder of a printing press, particularly an offset sheet printing press, in which on the delivery side in front of the printing unit cylinders there is installed a vertically moveable protection (2), which has holding devices by means of which a printing plate (4) can be made ready on the side of the protection turned away from the printing unit cylinders, characterised in that the protection (2) has a swivellable support device (6) on the side turned away from the printing unit cylinders, which in a first position holds the printing plate (4) in an orientation running essentially parallel to the direction of extension of the protection and by which in a second position the printing plate (4) is carried in a direction running inclined to the direction of extension of the protection (2).
  2. Device according to claim 1 characterised in that the support device (6) is constructed as an essentially U-shaped bow linked rotatably in the lower region of the protection (2).
  3. Device according to claim 1 or 2 characterised in that the support device (6) by means of two links (9) on the lower region of the protection (2), is connected with this.
  4. Device according to one of the preceding claims characterised in that the support device (6) has on the side towards the printing plate (4) brushes (8) for damage-free holding of the printing plate (4).
