In der Darstellung gemäß Fig. 8 ist gezeigt, wie sowohl die
Vorder- als auch die Hinterkante 15, 16 der Druckform 22
angedrückt werden, um einen minimalen Spalt zu erzielen. Über
die Stelleinheit 18 schwenkt die Schutzeinrichtung 8 in den
Spalt zwischen den Druckwerkzylindern 10, 12 zurück, mittels
der Stelleinheit 20 wird das Halteelement 5 in eine vom
Umfang des Druckformzylinders 12 abgestellte Lage gebracht,
die schwenkbare Druckformladeeinheit 2 kann nunmehr in ihre

Claims (11)
- Apparatus for changing printing plates on cylinders of printing machines, comprising a pivotable printing-plate loading unit, which includes a printing-plate feed compartment and a printing-plate removal compartment, it being possible for the printing-plate loading unit to be pivoted into a working position at the channel in a printing-plate cylinder having clamping devices, and into a loading position, in which the printing-plate loading unit is retracted from the working position, characterized in that the printing-plate loading unit (2), which can be pivoted into a vertical loading position, can be pivoted against a holding element (5), on which there are provided an inlet area (13) for a printing plate (14) to be taken off the printing-plate cylinder (12), and conveying devices (6) for a printing plate (22) to be fitted to the printing-plate cylinder (12).
- Apparatus according to Claim 1, characterized in that the inlet area (13) is assigned to the printing-plate removal compartment (2.1) of the printing-plate loading unit (2).
- Apparatus according to Claim 1, characterized in that the conveying devices (6) on the holding element (5) act in the conveying plane of the printing plate (22) that is to be fitted and is located in the printing-plate feed compartment (2.2).
- Apparatus according to Claim 1, characterized in that, in its working position, the printing-plate loading unit (2) is supported by a protective device (8).
- Apparatus according to Claim 1, characterized in that the operations of taking off the printing plate (14) and pulling on the printing plate (22) to be fitted are aided by a roll (7) which can be brought into contact with the printing-plate cylinder (12).
- Apparatus according to Claim 5, characterized in that the roll (7) which can be brought into contact with the cylinder is the damping-solution applicator roll of a printing unit.
- Apparatus according to Claim 1, characterized in that the printing-plate removal compartment (2.1) and the printing-plate feed compartment (2.2) of the printing-plate loading unit (2) are each assigned an actuating unit (23, 29), which actuate locking means (3, 4) for the printing plates (14, 22).
- Apparatus according to Claim 7, characterized in that the locking means (3) comprises a pre-tensioned lever (28, 30).
- Apparatus according to Claim 7, characterized in that the locking means (3) can be moved parallel to the printing-plate removal compartment (2.1).
- Apparatus according to Claim 7, characterized in that the locking means (3) can be moved in a slotted guide (31).
- Apparatus according to Claim 7, characterized in that the locking means (4), which is assigned to the printing-plate feed compartment (2.2), grips the trailing edge (16) of the printing plate (22) that is about to be fitted.
