に刷版を運搬する時間が短縮され作業能率が向上すると
ともに、刷版を版胴へ装着するときには版尻側が安全カ
バーで保持され、版尻の保持作業が不要となって作業性
、安全性が向上する。また、版替え時の必須動作である
安全カバーの開放動作に追随して、それ壕で収納位置に
あった刷版が装着のために適切な位置を占めるので、特
別な動作を必要とせず作業性がきわめて良好であり、そ
のあとの装着作業とともに作業がきわめて円滑に進行す
る。さらに既設の安全カバーに刷版の保持装置を設けた
ことにより、特別な保持装置を必要としないので、装置
を安価に提供することができ、装置の占有スペースを縮
小することができる。
