ersten Einhängeleiste 34 kann wie im vorliegenden
Beispiel in einem Abstand a eine zweite, zylinderferne
Einhängeleiste 39 zwischen den Schwenkarmen 32 befestigt

mit weiteren Druckplatten 11 mehrfach wiederholt werden,
um die für den Plattenzylinder 1 in axialer Richtung
benötigten Druckplatten 11 einzuhängen.

nebeneinanderliegenden, zu wechselnden Druckplatten 11,
40 eines in Umfangsrichtung zwei Druckplatten 11, 40
aufweisenden Plattenzylinders 1 werden bei zwei
vorhandenen Einhängeleisten 34, 39 gemeinsam von der
Bereitstellungspositon "B" in die Warteposition "W"
bewegt. Ist nur eine Einhängeleiste 34 vorhanden, kann
der Schwenkvorgang beispielsweise wiederholt werden.
Ebenso ist es aber auch möglich jedem axialen, einer
Druckplatte 11, 40 zugehörigen Zylinderabschnitt eine
eigene, unabhängig schwenkbare
Druckplattenbereitstellungseinrichtung 28 zuzuordnen. Claims (11)
- Method for providing one or more printing plate (11; 40) or printing plates (11; 40) within the range of a handling apparatus (12) by means of a printing plate provision apparatus (28), in order to mount the printing plate (11; 40) on a plate cylinder (1) of a rotary printing machine, the printing plate (11; 40) being hooked, hanging vertically and pre-positioned, into a suspension strip (34; 39) of the printing plate provision apparatus (28) in a provision position (B) remote from the cylinder, characterized in that the printing plate (11; 40), together with the suspension strip (34; 39), is subsequently transported into a waiting position (W) close to the cylinder by means of the printing plate provision apparatus (28), and in that the printing plate (11; 40) is transported away from the suspension strip (34; 39) to the plate cylinder (1) by means of the handling apparatus (12).
- Method according to Claim 1, characterized in that all the printing plates (11; 40) to be mounted on the plate cylinder (1) are moved together from the provision position (B) into the waiting position (W).
- Method according to Claim 1, characterized in that a number of printing plates (11; 40) belonging to axial cylinder sections are moved independently of one another from the provision position (B) into the waiting position (W).
- Printing plate provision apparatus (28) for providing one or more printing plate (11; 40) or printing plates (11; 40), for them to be mounted on a plate cylinder (1) of a rotary printing machine, by means of a handling apparatus (12), the printing plate provision apparatus (28) being provided with at least one suspension strip (34; 39) used to accept printing plates (11), in which strip the hooked-in printing plates (11; 40) hang approximately vertically in a provision position (B) remote from the cylinder, the printing plate provision apparatus (28), together with the suspension strip (34; 39) being arranged such that it can be moved from the provision position (B) remote from the cylinder into a waiting position (W) close to the cylinder, characterized in that in the waiting position (W), the printing plate provision apparatus (28) is arranged in such a way that the printing plates (11) hooked into the suspension strip (34; 39) are approximately parallel to a transport plane (18) of the handling apparatus (12) and are approximately horizontal.
- Printing plate provision apparatus according to Claim 4, characterized in that at its end close to the cylinder, the suspension strip (34; 39) is provided with a nose-like cross section matched to a leading bent-over, hook-in edge (19) of the printing plate (11) .

- Printing plate provision apparatus according to Claim 4 or 5, characterized in that a printing plate provision apparatus (28) having two suspension strips (34; 39) offset from one another at a distance (a) is provided.
- Printing plate provision apparatus according to Claim 4 or 5, characterized in that a single printing plate provision apparatus (28) is provided for all the printing plates (11) to be mounted in the axial direction on the plate cylinder (1).
- Printing plate provision apparatus according to Claim 4 or 5, characterized in that a number of printing plate provision apparatus (28) which can be actuated independently of one another are provided in the axial direction along the plate cylinder (1).
- Printing plate provision apparatus according to Claim 4, characterized in that at its end close to the cylinder, the suspension strip (34; 39) is provided with a nose-like cross section which is bounded by a supporting surface (36) and a suspension surface (37), which form an opening angle (beta).
- Printing plate provision apparatus according to Claim 10, characterized in that the opening angle (beta) of the supporting surface (36) and the suspension surface (37) of the suspension strip (34; 39) of the printing plate provision apparatus (28) is matched to the opening angle (alpha) of the leading bent-over, hook-in edge (19) of the printing plate (11) .
