Definitions
- the invention relates to a tearable capsule for securing, in particular Tamper-evident protection and for additional sealing of an already with a pane or. stopper-shaped sealing element closed bottle-shaped container for in particular pharmaceutical content, according to the preamble of Claim 1.
- a corresponding capsule is known from DE-A-2 738 551. Furthermore, one
- tearable capsule described in DE-OS 27 27 743, it exists Made entirely of metal, especially aluminum.
- This capsule is called a crimp capsule trained, i.e. it overlaps the sealing element closing the container and the container neck and engages it in one below the one with a bead Edge of the container neck lying ring zone.
- This subsequent deformation namely The capsule is flanged by a mechanical device like a filling machine is subordinate and thus only forms the holding devices that the capsule on the Hold the container.
- An object of the invention described below is therefore a tearable capsule to create, which is not made of metal, but completely made of thermoplastic in Injection molding process can be produced and already receives its final shape, not only after the containers to be closed have been filled with an additional one Finally, the device must be deformed to completely seal the container and to secure its content and which is sensitive to manipulation of the closure, so that such effects can be recognized on the capsule at any time.
- Capsules made of plastic are also known, for example from DE-PS 41 35 470, in which a sealing cap made of plastic, in particular for glass containers of the most diverse areas of application, with a partial openable and a seal or opening exposing cover surface and a Cladding part surrounding the container neck is described, at the material weak points swiveling grippers or spring tongues with inwards, i.e. against the outer Container-shaped gripping edges, which are caused by vertical swiveling in the Reach under the container neck on all sides, are fastened.
- DE-PS 42 28 090 suggested screwing an auxiliary cap over the capsule through which the grippers or spring tongues are held in the radial direction against unwanted opening.
- Such an additional auxiliary cap also requires the arrangement of an external thread the outer circumference of the capsule or its gripper or spring tongues, whereby the Overall construction of such a closure device is very complex and complicated is operate.
- the tearable described above Capsule not only completely, but also made in one piece from plastic and continue to train so that they are similar to capsules made of aluminum is still tearable and protects the sealing element from dirt.
- This design of the capsule fulfills the objectives of the invention, namely on the one hand to create a tamper-evident device which ensures that tampering with the capsule due to deformations, in particular of the jacket area, is immediately noticeable, on the other hand also to make disposal as easy as possible, in particular without material separation and otherwise manufacture the capsule from a material that is easily recyclable.
- this design of the holding devices of the capsule is a simple to manufacture solution compared to the previously known holding devices explained in more detail above, which ensures that the capsule can be attached to the neck of a container without additional devices, which in turn act on the holding devices.
- the holding devices are designed in the manner of a console having a triangular cross-section, which has a contact surface which engages approximately horizontally under the lower edge of the bead. This design allows the capsule to be easily placed first on the container neck and then, with further depression, on the outside of the bead, the jacket expanding, sliding downward and then latching under the lower edge of the bead with its holding devices.
- these can be formed as lips which are formed on the inside of the lower edge of the jacket and which are directed at an acute angle into the interior of the capsule and are elastically deformable.
- This lip-shaped design of the holding devices ensures that they can compensate for production-related tolerances in the dimensions of the sealing element and the bulge of the container neck and hold the capsule in a particularly suitable manner.
- the tear-out part is designed as a strip of a certain width running over the diameter and is connected to the remaining adjacent circular segment-shaped areas of the cover surface by weakened areas made of thinner plastic material.
- the strip is also connected to at least one of the edges of the shell regions of the capsule lying against it by weakened regions made of thinner plastic material.
- Such a capsule has no openings or slots through which dirt could penetrate and contaminate the sealing plug.
- the jacket has in the area of its Outer circumference to a smaller outer diameter, so that the tear-off part a Gripping edge forms.
- This gripping edge of the pull-out part is from the end of the diameter-shaped strip formed immediately above the upper edge of the coat ends.
- the tear-off part can have a hinge-shaped transition to the casing at its edge opposite the gripping edge, at which it can be folded upwards after being released from the cover surface and can remain in this position.
- a hinge has the effect that the torn-out tear-off part is not completely detached from the capsule, if not desired, on the one hand, and also does not fold back again when it is released, and thus the insertion of a cannula into the exposed one Sealing element difficult.
- the linear weakening areas contained in the cover surface are advantageously extended into the jacket in their extension in accordance with the width of the strip. This development of the weakened areas ensures that the tear-off part can not only be folded up on the hinge-shaped design, but the capsule can be further torn open when the tear-off part is pulled further, so that it is possible to remove it entirely from the Remove container.
- notch-shaped areas are provided in the lower edge of the jacket in addition to the two linear weakening areas and to the thinner jacket area for the gripping edge, in which the jacket is also made thinner. These four notch-shaped areas are arranged at a distance from one another and from the linear weakening areas and from the thinner jacket area, which corresponds to approximately one eighth of the jacket circumference. These notch-shaped areas serve to facilitate the widening of the jacket in this area of its edge when it is placed on the container neck.
- the edge of the shell is extended downwards over its entire circumference, the edge being able to continuously thin downwards in those sections of this extension region in which the shell thickness is not reduced.
- This extension area is an additional protective measure to ensure the originality of the container contents.
- the extension area which is particularly sensitive as described above, is more flexible and downright soft than the other jacket area and should sit on the shoulder of the container. If someone tried to open the container sealed with such a capsule, they would have to reach under this extension area. However, this would not be possible without injuring the capsule in this extension area. This would make tampering with such a capsule obvious.
- the lid surface advantageously has a ring-shaped bead on its underside which is intended to bear against the top of the sealing element. Since this bead, which is formed on the underside of the cover surface and has a certain height, is harder than the sealing element made of rubber, it can easily compensate for tolerances between the underside of the cover surface and the upper side of the sealing element, which are due to manufacturing-related dimensional tolerances in the dimensions of the sealing element, the container neck, the bead and the capsule itself can arise, namely in that it penetrates more strongly into a thicker sealing element than in a thinner one, forcing the sealing element to move laterally. This also ensures that the sealing element is always pressed firmly into the neck of the container.
- the container opening 3 of the bottle-shaped container 1 is plug-shaped Sealing element 7 closed, the contents of the container 1 sterile to the Closes atmosphere and for example by means of a not shown in the figures Cannula can be pierced to remove the contents of the container.
- the sealing element 7 is in turn for additional sealing and in particular Secured with a capsule 8 made completely and in one piece from plastic covered, which also covers the edge 4 with the bead 5 and has a device, by means of which the capsule 8 can be opened at least to the extent that the Sealing element 7 is partially exposed.
- the capsule 8 has a cover surface 9 of a certain thickness, in which a tear-out part 10 is provided which, after it has been released from the cover surface 9 Access to the sealing element 7, for example, as described above, for piercing by means of a cannula. Furthermore, the capsule 8 has a flange-shaped jacket 11 on a certain, the dimensions of the bead 5 and the sealing element 7 has adapted height and on the inside 12 at its lower edge 13th Holding devices 14, which as inward, ie the outer wall of the Container neck 2 facing projections 15 are formed, which under the lower edge 6th grip the bead 5.
- projections 15 are, as shown in particular in FIGS. 1, 3 and 4, with regard to their cross-sectional dimensions are designed so that when the capsule 8 on the edge 4 of the container neck 2 and with further depression without further ado this, especially over the bead 5, can slide, but after engaging under the Lower edge 6 of the bead 5 no longer, at least not without damage to the jacket, of the container neck 2 are removable.
- the projections 15 are, for example, a triangular cross section having console formed, the one the lower edge 6 of the bead 5 approximately Has horizontally engaging contact surface 16, so that when the capsule 8th on the edge 4 or the bead 5 of the container neck 2, the console to rest comes and with further depression of the capsule 8 on the outside of the bead 5, widening the jacket 11, slides down and then with his Contact surface 16 engages under the lower edge 6 of the bead 5.
- the holding devices 14 In order to maintain the holding effect of the holding devices 14 especially for those cases or to improve if necessary, in which a thinner sealing element a smaller bead or vice versa, a thicker one Sealing element combined with a larger, thicker bead are, the holding devices 14 as on the inside 12 of the lower edge 13th of the shell 11 shaped and at an acute angle into the interior of the capsule 8 directed and elastically deformable lips 17 formed.
- This lip 17 shown in Figures 5a, 5b and 5c can be the by the aforementioned dimensional differences caused different dimensions on the Adjust the lower edge 6 of the bead 5 'or 5' 'much better than that above described projection 15, because the lip 17 is due to their special training easier to deform, while still or just because of the deformation that to hold the capsule on the bottle neck has the necessary elasticity.
- Figures 5b and 5c each show the minimum and maximum dimensional deviations of the Sealing elements 7 'and 7' 'and the beads 5' and 5 '' and the resulting different position of the lip 17th
- the cover surface 9 of the capsule 8 has, as shown in Fig. 2, a tear-out part 10 on the is formed as a strip 18 of a certain width running over the diameter and with the remaining adjacent circular segment-shaped areas 9 'and 9' 'of Cover surface 9 through line-shaped weakening areas 19 and 20 of thinner Plastic material is connected.
- the jacket 11 is in this Area 21 of its outer circumference is thinner, i.e. with a smaller outside diameter formed, which corresponds to the width of the strip-shaped tear-out part 10, so that the Jacket 11 is exceeded by the gripping edge 22 of the tear-out part 10.
- the pull-out part has 10 on its edge opposite the gripping edge 22 has a hinge-shaped design 23 in the casing region 21 'of the capsule 8, on which the one released from the cover surface 9 Tear-out part 10 can be folded up and can remain on the capsule 8.
- linear weakening areas in the jacket 24 and 25 may be provided so that when the pull-out part is pulled further 10 also one Part of the shell 11 of the capsule 8 in the paths of the preformed weakened areas 24 and 25 continue to be detached from capsule 8 until fully released or if one of the line-shaped weakening areas 24 is not completely up to Edge of the shell 11 is guided, that is, in the event of incomplete triggering, on the shell 11 can get stuck, as shown in Fig.8.
- the capsule 8 has its lower edge 13 Jacket 11 in addition to the two linear weakening areas 24 and 25 as well as the thinner jacket region 21 for the gripping edge 22 in between for example, each have two notch-shaped areas 26 in which the jacket 11 is also made thinner, for example as thin as in the linear ones Attenuation areas 24 or 25 and / or in the thinner jacket area 21 for the Gripping edge 22.
- the edge 13 in those sections of the extension region of the jacket 11 in which the jacket thickness is not reduced can continuously thin downwards.
- This special design of the lower region of the edge 13 of the shell 11 of the capsule 8 additionally ensures that in the event of manipulation for the purpose of removing the capsule 8, this lower edge region is even more easily damaged or shows such non-recoverable traces that it can be determined immediately whether the lock has been tampered with.
