Definitions
- the invention relates to a building facade with the features of the preamble of claim 1.
- a facade with a supporting structure made of aluminum hollow profiles is known, in which a steel profile is used for stiffening.
- This steel profile essentially serves to maintain the stability of the facade construction in the event of a fire.
- a pure aluminum profile has a relatively low melting point. If the aluminum stability yields, the steel profile maintains the required overall stability, which is provided for such components, in particular DIN 4102, part 13, in accordance with the relevant fire protection regulations.
- this profile system has disadvantages in terms of processing and thermal behavior, since different materials are used for the profiles.
- a component is known in the manner of a support profile, which consists only of a hollow profile with all-round fire protection insulation.
- a visibly screwed steel sheet cover is necessary. This has a negative impact on the visual appearance of the facade.
- the support profile of a glass roof known from DE 37 39 741 A1 also only has a fire-protected steel profile.
- the invention has for its object to provide a facade in which the above-mentioned disadvantages are avoided and the relevant fire protection measures are still met.
- the required fire protection is only possible with aluminum profiles. This is particularly important for the critical corner area of facades, where there is a particularly high risk of fire.
- the fire insulation is advantageously protected against mechanical injuries from the outside, so that an impairment of the fire protection property is avoided.
- the facade forms a stable unit that is easy to manufacture. If only aluminum is used for the profiles, simplifications in storage, manufacture and processing are possible. Different processing tools depending on the material, as in the prior art, are then not necessary.
- the support profiles can also be made of steel, wood or the like. be made.
- the material for the fire protection layer is preferably a mineral material, e.g. based on silicate.
- a fire protection material is known, for example, under the trademark "Promatect-H” from Promat GmbH, Scheifenkamp 16, D-40880 Ratingen.
- the metal profiles of the structure of the facade are made exclusively of light metal, especially aluminum.
- the support profile 1 is a hollow profile of square or rectangular cross-sectional shape. It surrounds an inner chamber 2, which is completely surrounded by the profile cross section. In special cases, however, it may also be possible that the gaplessness is interrupted. This does not fundamentally conflict with the purpose of the invention, although the all-round hermetic sealing of the inner chamber 2 is advantageous for protection purposes.
- the inner chamber 2 of the support profile 1 is suitable for receiving an inserted, also made of aluminum support profile 3, which has a square cross-section in FIG. 1 and a rectangular cross-section in FIG. 2.
- the support profile 3 is also a hollow profile, for which the remarks made above regarding the cross-sectional shape of the support profile 1 apply analogously.
- the support profile 1 with an inserted support profile 3 can form a post or a transom profile of the facade.
- the mullion and transom profiles form the supporting structure of the building facade when properly connected. They delimit frame fields between them, which are filled by wall elements, in particular by fire protection panes 4.
- the panes 4 rest with the edge regions 5 of their inner surfaces 6 on the outer flanks 8 of the support profiles 1 facing the weather side 7 of the facade.
- the system takes place with the interposition of sealing profiles 9 made of rubber-elastic material.
- the sealing profiles 9 are fixed in longitudinal grooves 10 which protrude from the outer flanks 8 of the support profiles 1 in the direction of the weather side 7. They extend in the longitudinal direction of the support profiles 1, i.e. perpendicular to the plane of the drawing in FIG. 1.
- the edge regions 5 of the panes 4 are acted upon by pressure profiles 12 on their outer surface 11 from the weather side 7.
- the pressure profiles 12 are also aluminum profiles. They act on the edge areas 5 of the disks 4 by means of sealing profiles 13, likewise made of rubber-elastic material.
- the sealing profiles 13 lie in longitudinal grooves 14 of the pressure profiles 12, which are analogous to the longitudinal grooves 10 of the support profiles 1.
- the washers 4 are thus fixed to the supporting structure by clamping tension between the pressure profiles 12 and the supporting profiles 1, which are clamped together for this purpose by means of tensioning screws 15 screwed in from the weather side 7.
- the clamping screws 15 are preferably self-tapping screws that drill the screw hole themselves before screwing in.
- the clamping pressure built up when the tensioning screws 15 are screwed in is cushioned or buffered by the sealing profiles 9, 13 lying between the pressure profile 12 and the support profile 1 on the one hand and the edge regions 5 of the disks 4 on the other hand.
- the support profiles 3 consist in particular of light metal or aluminum, namely of the same material as the support profile 1 and the pressure profile 12. However, production from wood or conventionally from steel is also conceivable.
- the support profile 3 lying in the inner chamber 2 is fixed with its outer flank 16 facing the weather side 7 to the outer wall 17 of the support profile 1 forming the outer flank 8. This fixation can be carried out in a particularly simple manner by screwing from the outer flank 8 of the support profile 1. This screw connection is identified in the figures by the screw axes 18.
- the support profile 3 lies with its outer flank 16 facing the weather side 7 directly against the inside of the outer wall 17 of the support profile 1.
- the screw connection itself can be produced in a particularly simple manner in terms of production technology from the outer region of the support profile 1 flanking the longitudinal grooves 11.
- the flanks of the support profile 3 located outside the outer flank 16 used for fixing, namely its two side flanks 19, 20 and their inner flank 22 facing the building side 21 are covered by fire protection insulation 23.
- the fire protection insulation 23 largely fills the space between the side flanks 19, 20 of the support profile 3 and the opposite inner sides 24 of the support profile 1.
- the fire protection insulation 23 is formed by plate-shaped cover elements. In the case of insulation of the support body 3, they can be combined to form a one-piece, essentially U-shaped protective body with U-legs covering the side flanks 19, 20 of the support body 3.
- the support profiles 1 and the pressure profiles 12 are spaced apart from one another by insulating webs 25 made of a plastic of low thermal conductivity.
- the insulating webs 25 are penetrated by the clamping screws 15. They serve to prevent direct heat transfer from the metallic support profiles 1 to the likewise metallic and therefore inherently highly heat-conductive pressure profiles 12.
- They are H-shaped in cross section.
- the H-legs are used for plug-in fixing or centering on the profile webs 26, 27, which are made in one piece on the one hand from the support profile 1 and on the other hand from the pressure profile 12 in the direction of one another into the space 28 between these profiles or between the disks 4 stand in.
- the H-legs of the insulating webs 25 are also covered on both sides on their outside by fire protection insulation in the form of plate-shaped insulating elements 29.
- the outer sides 30 of the pressure profiles 12 are also covered with fire protection insulation 23. It also provides heat shielding of the support profile 1 from the weather side 7.
- the pressure profile 12 is covered on its outer side facing the weather side 7, including the fire protection insulation 23, by a metallic cover profile 31, which here also consists of aluminum.
- the pressure profile 12 is penetrated by the clamping screw 15, the screw head 32 of which acts on the fire protection insulation 23 from the outside.
- the fire protection insulation 23 is of limited width, while in the case of the embodiment of FIG. 2 it fills the entire space between the profile legs 33 projecting in the direction of the weather side 7 and thus forms an enlarged fire protection to the outside.
- the immediate fixation of the support profile 3 to the support profile 1 dispenses with fire protection insulation between the outer flank 16 of the support profile 3 and the inside of the outer wall 17 of the support profile 1, this has no noticeably negative effect on the fire protection effect, because in In the event of a fire, the action of the fire heat occurs less from the weather side 7 than from the building side 21. In the event of a fire, the reactive glass isolates it.
- test guidelines and test requirements for fire protection levels of such supporting structures require that the structural integrity of the supporting structure is fully maintained over a certain period of time.
- the support profile 3 extends essentially over the entire effective length of the support profile 1 that runs perpendicular to the drawing plane of FIG. 1.

Abstract
Description
Dort zeigen:
- Fig. 1
- einen Querschnitt durch einen Tragprofilbereich einer Fassade.
