Definitions
- the invention relates to an insert for an elongated Hollow profile and a method for insertion and fixing a profile insert in an elongated hollow profile.
- the method described here is also expensive and complex.
- the screws are also in the visible area annoying.
- strips can be made Fire protection panels or heavy foils (soundproofing) in the Hollow profile can be introduced.
- the invention has for its object a insert for Propose use in elongated hollow sections can be easily and quickly attached without one Screwing on the hollow profile is necessary.
- the invention is based on the idea that in one elongated hollow profile at least one profile insert and an elongated expansion element are arranged.
- the at least one profile insert is arranged in the hollow profile and is fixed by the expansion element.
- the expansion element is preferably an elongated one Eccentric, which by rotating about its longitudinal axis in the Hollow profile is self-locking fixable.
- the eccentric Preferably there is the eccentric made of metal or plastic. Choosing one of the two materials depends on the preferred Requirement. If fire protection is in the foreground, it is Training of the eccentric made of metal is necessary.
- the eccentric be made of plastic or metal.
- the eccentric is as open profile. This allows one Achieve material savings by using only those for the self-locking fixation or for attacking one suitable turning tool suitable areas of the eccentric are trained.
- the eccentric can be used as a closed profile be trained. This has the advantage that more even absorption of the pinching insertion resulting forces a higher structural strength of the Eccentric compared to the open profile can be achieved and thereby the required wall thicknesses can be reduced can.
- the eccentric in cross-section in sections or over the entire length an elliptical scope.
- the provision of an elliptical Scope has the advantage that the eccentric easily in Hollow profile can be inserted and using a suitable tool to turn the eccentric around its Longitudinal axis can be brought into a locking position which is the major axis of the ellipse towards the Cross-sectional dimension runs for the clamping Use of the eccentric is provided.
- the eccentric preferably further comprises one or more Fastening elements for the form-fitting attachment of a Tool for rotating the eccentric around its longitudinal axis.
- Fastening elements for the form-fitting attachment of a Tool for rotating the eccentric around its longitudinal axis. All possible variants can be used here, the insertion of an appropriately shaped tool allow and through a form-fitting contact with this Tool a transfer of the rotary motion of the tool in allow the eccentric to rotate about its longitudinal axis.
- the at least one profile insert is preferably a U-profile or flat profile.
- a U profile has the Advantage that with a corresponding vote Dimensions of the profile insert with the internal dimensions of the Hollow profile already a complete or partial Fixing the profile insert in the hollow profile can be achieved.
- a U-profile is more rigid than a Flat profile. Has the use of a flat profile on the other hand, manufacturing advantages, whereby the entire Profile insert can be manufactured more cost-effectively.
- the at least a profile insert a heavy foil with a support profile.
- heavy foil i.e. lead-containing foil with a high weight, improves the desired Soundproofing properties and can be done in a very simple way on one or when using multiple profile inserts one or more profile inserts can be glued on.
- the at least one profile insert a fire protection plate that with the metal profile insert is connected. It is therefore a composite construction of one or more profile inserts before, each consisting of a fire protection panel and a Profile insert made of metal, the profile insert made of metal the elongated eccentric when installed is facing.
- one or are several profile inserts in addition to the fixation by the Expanding element can be fixed on the hollow profile.
- the possibility of already larger pre-assembled units To transport construction site, thereby producing Buildings such as facades can be accelerated.
- the force when fixing the eccentric can be reduced because turning the eccentric possibly slipped in the open hollow profile Profile inserts not moved into their clamping end position Need to become.
- the Profile insert continues two guide parts that Profile inserts are arranged on opposite Sides of the hollow profile are placed.
- Guide parts can be used for the clamping insertion of the Profile inserts reduce the force required because of a self-locking fixation of the eccentric with a lower Force can be achieved.
- the guide parts are preferably in one piece with the Profile insert made of metal. This allows the Reduce assembly effort because the separate guide parts not before inserting the profile inserts on them must be attached.
- the Guide parts firmly connected to the profile insert.

Preferably come carbon steel, stainless steel, brass or Aluminum used. 1 are shown schematically webs 14a and 14b also formed on the hollow profile 12, wherein when using the hollow profile shown in Fig. 1 to erect facades, the webs 14a of fastening sealing strips running in the longitudinal direction of the hollow profile and the webs 14b serve to attach a cover strip.
- these webs shown in Fig. 1 are for the present invention irrelevant and purely exemplary, so that the invention described below in the same way also with any other shaped hollow profile elements can be realized.
- Fig. 1 Two profile inserts 16 are in the hollow profile 12 inserted, each a U-shaped cross section have, as can be seen from Fig. 1.
- plate-shaped profile inserts 16 become clear from some of the following figures will be.
- the length is the existing one Leg selected only as an example.
- Fig. 1 are two in shown substantially identical shaped inlays 16; in the same way, of course, one or more Plates can be combined with a U-shaped profile insert.
- the profile inserts 16 lie on the inner wall of the hollow profile 12 and are due to the dimensions of the base part 16b Profile inserts 16 and by the clamping installation of the Eccentric 18 fixed in position.
- the eccentric 18 has an elliptical cross-sectional shape and a central web 20, which extends in the direction of Main axis of the ellipse extends and, as explained later will be, the positive recording by a tool serves.
- Fig. 1 is the position with broken lines an eccentric 18 'rotated by 90 ° about the longitudinal axis shown to the installation procedure for the profile strip too explain.
- the eccentric serves to counter the profile insert to spread the inner wall of the hollow profile.
- the tool used depends on the Geometry of the eccentric.
- a tool could be used on a elongated shaft has a groove into which the web 20 of the eccentric 18 can penetrate.
- the tool can be in a movement in the longitudinal direction, i.e. perpendicular to Drawing plane in Fig. 1, attached to the eccentric 18 and the tool can be turned until the eccentric 18 shown in solid lines in FIG. 1 Position.

- a shape of the eccentric 18 can be chosen, which deviates from that in 1 has flattened shapes on the sides, which are in contact with the profile inserts 16 in the installed state.
- the eccentric can be made of metal or plastic be, with regard to the metal Fire protection needs to be selected while metal or Plastic the longitudinal conduction of sound effectively weakened.
- FIG. 2a, 2b and 2c are different alternatives for the provision of webs illustrated with a suitable Tool for turning and locking the eccentric can work together. While that shown in Fig. 2a Design of the eccentric 18 that shown in Fig. 1 Example corresponds and a continuous web 20 along the Has the main axis of the elliptical eccentric 18, is in the example shown in Fig. 2b, the web 20 in divided two sub-areas 20a and 20b. That for use However, the tool that arrives can be the same as in connection with the profile shown in Fig. 2a to be used be trained.
- the design of the eccentric 18 according to Fig. 2b has compared to the embodiment of Fig. 2a the advantage that material can be saved.
- FIG. 2c Another variant is shown in Fig. 2c.
- Eccentrics 18 webs extending in the longitudinal direction of the eccentric 24 formed, which are spaced from the main axis 22. Between the four webs 24, one can accordingly Insert the shaped tool into the positive Contact with the webs 24 and the eccentric 18 at one Rotation of the tool about its longitudinal axis.
- the eccentric 18 can also be an open profile be trained. 3a and 3b Examples shown. While the profile shown in Fig. 3a is formed in one piece and is preferably extruded, is the eccentric 18 shown in profile in FIG. 3b roll formed, with sheet metal rolled into the shape shown becomes.
- FIG. 4a and 4b are profile inserts 16 shown, which consists of a metal body 26 and a Heavy metal foil 28 exist. Heavy metal foils, Lead foils, in particular, are commercially available in mats available and can on the carrier material in which example shown the metal body 26 of the profile insert e.g. be stuck on.
- a lead foil represents a metal body 26 with a flat profile
- Fig. 4b the application of heavy film on a U-shaped Metal body 26 shown.
- the metal body 26 are in the Use of heavy foils, preferably made of steel or Made of aluminum.
- Composite profile insert 16 is shown in Fig. 5.
- a roll-formed metal body 26 made of steel, Stainless steel or, if the requirements are low, under certain circumstances also aluminum, shown, which holds a fire protection element 30. While in the present example the fire protection element 30 is held firmly by the metal body 26 and thus a single installation unit, it is in the same way conceivable that fire protection elements and profile inserts separately from each other can be inserted into the hollow profile.
- FIG. 6 is an illustration of an alternative Embodiment of the invention related to the 1 corresponds to the graphic representation.
- the profile inserts are located in the hollow profile 12 16, the profile insert 16c as a U-profile and the Profile insert 16d is designed as a flat profile.
- the Profile insert 16c has one leg, which with the help of Fastening element 32, in the present case one Fastening screw, can be attached to the hollow profile 12.
- the profile insert 16c and Fire protection elements 30a, 30c and 30d fixed relative to Hollow section 12 fixed.
- the fixation of the fire protection element 30b and the profile insert 16d is done by inserting and locking the eccentric 18.
- Fig. 6 Also shown in Fig. 6 are guide members 34 which 7 to 9 are described in more detail and in In the present case, elongated trough-shaped metal strips are glued to the profile inserts 16c and 16d or are welded to them. This asymmetrical with respect facilitate their longitudinal axis trained guide parts 34 the insertion and fixing of the eccentric 18 between the Profile inserts 16c and 16d.
- the predetermined curvature of the guide parts 34 the contact surface between the eccentric and the wall parts, between which the Eccentric is wedged, increased. This in turn increases the Friction, making it a safe and self-locking Attach the eccentric 18 can ensure.
- FIGS. 7a and 7b show the one-piece design of the guide part 34 with the Profile insert 16.
- the profile insert As shown in Fig. 7a, the profile insert as Flat profile or U-profile.
- suitable Materials come in extruded aluminum or else Consider copper or brass.
- the main difference between the formation of the guide part 34 in Fig. 7a and 7b is that the guide member in Fig. 7a both sides has a guide boss 36 while this in the guide part 34 according to FIG. 7b only on one side of the Case is.
- the main difference between these two Design alternatives lie in which direction of rotation the associated eccentric 18 is to be used. How is clear from the double arrow A in Fig. 7a is suitable the guide member 34 shown therein (integral with the Profile insert 16) that an eccentric 18 in both Directions of rotation, i.e. both clockwise and counterclockwise as shown in Fig. 7a can be turned.
- 8a and 8b are further alternatives for the integral design of the guide part with the profile insert 16 shown. In both cases they are in one piece Profile inserts roll-formed, the ends of the band-like Starting material forms the guide lugs 36. This Design is particularly suitable when using Steel or stainless steel for the production of profile inserts 16.
- the difference between the profile inserts according to 8a and 8b is that a profile insert is shown in Fig. 8b which forms a U-profile, while in Fig. 8a Flat profile is shown.
- a profile insert 16 has already been described in FIG. 5, that of a metal body 26 and a fire protection element 30 is built.
- 8c shows a further variant of a such a component, in which a metal body 26 holds a fire protection element 30, but is designed so that guide lugs 36 are formed at the same time.
- the Leadership approaches are in one piece on both sides of the with the metal body 26 formed guide part provided, but the two guide approaches 36 asymmetrically shaped so that the broken lines in Fig. 8c eccentric 18 shown only in the direction of arrow C to self-locking fixation can be rotated.
- the guide member 34 can also be separated from the Profile insert 16 be made so that the guide member 34th in a suitable manner on the one serving as the carrier plate Profile insert must be attached. This can be done through a Rivet connection, adhesive connection, welded connection or also Screw connection 38, as indicated in FIG. 9a, be carried out.
- the difference between the representations in FIGS. 9a to 9d, however, is not in that in FIG. 9b to 9d individual attachment not shown of the guide parts, but in their design. While in 9a shows a guide part 34 with two guide approaches is shown, which is substantially symmetrical to The longitudinal axis of the guide part 34 is shown in FIG.
- FIG. 9b an asymmetrical representation shown that the geometric Training of the guide lugs 36 in Fig. 8c comparable is.
- the example shown in FIG. 9b can also be used an eccentric 18, not shown, only by a rotation in Clockwise direction, based on the plane of the drawing in Fig. 9b, tighten.
- 9c and 9d are special configurations of the Guide part shown, each locking lugs 40th exhibit. While two in the illustration in FIG. 9c Locking lugs 40 are provided, between which the only eccentric 18 shown hint can be locked only a single locking lug 40 is provided in FIG. 9d a turning back of the eccentric 18 opposite the Direction of rotation when inserting and locking the eccentric prevented. When turning the eccentric 18 must therefore in the case the use of a guide part with a locking lug Resistance to be overcome.
- FIGS. 10a to 10d Various alternatives are shown in FIGS. 10a to 10d shown the self-locking fixation of the eccentric 18th explain on the profile inserts 16.
- 10a 10d to 10d are not shown Guide approach used, but the attachment of the Eccentric in direct contact with the plate-shaped, or but also profile inserts 16 designed as a U-profile carried out.
- the webs shown in Fig. 10b 44 or ramps 46, as shown in Fig. 10c are shown to train. The use of ramps has the advantage that the eccentric 18 is easier can be used and yet unwanted loosening avoided becomes.
- the webs can also be made as long be, as indicated in Fig. 10d, whereby the eccentric 18 used only on the webs 46, but not abuts the base part 16b of the profile insert 16.
- the solution according to the invention can thus either be achieved that stiff profile inserts over the full Length of the hollow profile can be inserted and by eccentric spread at the ends or over the full length be, or less stiff profile inserts over the full length of the hollow profile are inserted and over the full length can be spread by an eccentric.
- the guide parts 34 are only required at the ends.
- FIG. 11 is a longitudinal section of the open hollow profile 12 with the profile inserts 16 arranged therein schematically shown. As can be seen from the figure, this will be Spread the insert by inserting a wedge 54 causes in the longitudinal direction of the hollow profile.
- the wedge 54 will inserted in the direction of arrow N and works with the Element 56 together, which is fixed on a profile insert 16 may be appropriate. In the example, this is Element 56 is also wedge-shaped. However, this is not mandatory as long as the pairing of the elements 54 and 56 has an angle to each other that desired self-locking fixation enables.
- FIG. 12 is also a longitudinal section of an open Hollow profile 12 with profile inserts 16 arranged therein represents.
- a hollow profile 50 is used, which under Preload between the profile inserts 12 is inserted and then in the direction of arrow M against the profile inserts 16 presses and this fixed against the hollow profile 12.
- the spreading spring 50 can in the Profile inserts 16 grooves to be formed in the schematic representation in Fig. 12 are not shown.
- FIG. 13 Yet another embodiment is sufficient for fixation stiffer profile inserts is shown in Fig. 13, the also a schematic longitudinal section of an open Hollow profile 12 with profile inserts 16 arranged therein represents. Fig. 13 also shows the end portion of the Inlay. Between the profile inserts 16 is one Expansion screw 52 used with a suitable External profile is provided so that it is complementary for this purpose shaped tool, for example in the direction of arrow P can be rotated and thereby expands, so that the Profile inserts 16 are expanded against the hollow profile 12.
- Expansion screw 52 used with a suitable External profile is provided so that it is complementary for this purpose shaped tool, for example in the direction of arrow P can be rotated and thereby expands, so that the Profile inserts 16 are expanded against the hollow profile 12.
