Definitions

  • the invention relates to a key switch according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such a key switch is known from DE-AS 22 08 019. It is characterized essentially by the fact that the cover, which is preferably designed as a profile half-cylinder lock, cannot be dismantled without using the key provided for the cylinder lock, because in the key withdrawal position the beard of the cylinder lock engages behind the securing plate permanently installed in the housing. The cover can only be removed from the housing together with the cylinder lock after removing the fastening screws by inserting the key and rotating the lock cylinder of the cylinder lock before aligning the beard in alignment with a recess provided for it in the locking plate.
  • a disadvantage of the known key switch is the comparatively high outlay required for assembly and disassembly.
  • the aim of the invention is to provide a key switch of the type mentioned, which consists of as few components and fasteners and allows quick and easy assembly and disassembly of all components without compromising security against unauthorized dismantling.
  • the dimension of the locking plate in the direction of displacement in the locked Position is therefore at least and preferably just by the amount of the required displacement less than the corresponding inner dimension of the housing.
  • the securing plate according to the invention is therefore not fixed to the housing by means of fasteners, such as screws or nuts, which are particularly easy to handle, but rather simply by inserting it into the housing up to the stops provided for this purpose and then by a perpendicular to the direction of insertion Movement is secured against removal.
  • fasteners such as screws or nuts
  • This end position of the locking plate is in turn not fixed by special fastening means, but simply by the end position of the locking plate being automatically fixed when the cover is attached and attached to the housing.
  • this switch can also be used to fix the switch itself in the housing.
  • both in the installation and in the surface-mounting arrangement of the cylinder lock creates an undesirably large game between the beard of the cylinder lock and the locking plate behind it in one of the two installation positions.
  • the locking plate only has to be inserted in the housing by 180 ° in reverse.
  • a further expedient embodiment of the invention is characterized by claim 16.
  • a housing 11 which is preferably designed as a plastic injection-molded part, is essentially cuboid with rounded corners.
  • the housing 11 has the shape of a cylinder with a substantially square cross-section, i.e. that, apart from the internals described below, all cross-sections of the housing 11 are of the same design parallel to the plane of the drawing in FIG. 1, and a central axis 30.
  • the housing 11 has at one end a flat bottom 16 extending perpendicular to the axis 30 and on the opposite side an open end face 14.
  • the housing 11 is closed by a cover 15 inserted into the open end face 14, which carries in a circumferential groove 36 a seal 33 which bears sealingly on the inner wall of the housing 11.
  • the outer circumference of the cover 15 is complementary to the inner circumference of the housing 11 in the region of the open end face 14, so that the cover 15 is housed recessed within the housing 11.
  • Protrusions 29 are molded onto the inner wall of the housing 11, which are axially set back so far relative to the open end face 14 that the cover 15 rests on the end faces 29 'of the protrusions 29 after insertion into the open end face 14 according to FIG. 5 and so on is prevented from further axial penetration into the interior of the housing 11.
  • the cover 15 has a central receiving opening 20 for a profile half-cylinder lock 12, which with its front surface 19 having the key insertion hole 18 protrudes slightly beyond the front surface of the cover 15 and extends approximately up to half the depth of the housing 11 in whose interior extends into it.
  • the cylinder lock 12 has a rotatable lock cylinder 22 and a downward-extending projection 37 containing the lock positions, in which there is also a radial recess 38 into which an actuating beard connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the lock cylinder 22 at the inner end region of the cylinder lock 13 can be arranged sunk for assembly purposes by turning the locking cylinder 22 accordingly after inserting a key 34 shown in FIG. 5.
  • a fastening element 26 with a U-shaped cross section is injection molded onto the rear of the cover 15, in the U-recess of which the rounded projection 37 of the cylinder lock 12 rests (FIGS. 4 to 6).
  • the two legs of the fastening element 26 have bores 39, 39 ′ which are slightly offset from one another in the axial direction and which cooperate with a corresponding bore 40 in the projection 37 radially outside the movement path of the beard 13.
  • a mounting pin 27 can be passed either through the aligned bores 39, 40 or 39 ', 40. In this way, the cylinder lock 12 can be fixed to the cover 15 in two different axial positions. 4, 5, 6, the holding pin 27 is shown in the pair of bores 39 ', 40.
  • the cylinder lock 12 and the fastening element 26 extend axially through a securing plate 24, which is shown in detail in FIGS. 7 to 10.
  • the securing plate 24 lies significantly lower than the cover 15 on the end faces 41 'of ribs 41 which are also molded onto the inside of the housing 11.
  • the securing plate 24 has corresponding lateral recesses 43.
  • the locking plate 24 in the view of FIGS. 2, 7 has a lower height than the interior of the housing 11, so that after the locking plate 24 has been inserted over the projections 29 between its underside and the opposite inner wall the housing 11 remains a clear distance.
  • the securing plate 24 has a passage opening 25 profiled according to the drawing.
  • the lower region 25 serves for the axial passage of the Fastening element 26.
  • the central round area serves to receive the cylindrical part of the cylinder lock 12.
  • Two recesses 45 which are symmetrical about the axis 35 and run at 45 ° to this axis are dimensioned such that when the cylinder lock 12 is inserted the beard 13 of the cylinder lock 12 brought into a corresponding angular position can pass axially through it.
  • the securing plate 24 has two bores 46 in addition to the passage opening 25, which cooperate with axial pins 47 (FIG. 6) on the cover 15 in the manner to be described below.
  • a rotary switch 17 is fastened to the bottom 16 of the housing 11 in that it is fitted by means of two holes 48 provided on diametrically opposite sides onto two complementary pins 49 molded onto the housing base. Against a movement in the direction of the front side 14, the switch 17 is held from behind by abutment on the securing plate 24, so that no further fastening measures are required for holding the switch 17.
  • the switch 17 has a fork-shaped actuating counterpart 23, in which the beard 13 of the cylinder lock 12 engages in such a way that when the locking cylinder 22 is rotated, the actuating counterpart 23 is carried along in one or the other circumferential direction and the switch 17 is actuated thereby.
  • the axis of rotation of the rotary switch 23 is coaxial with the axis 30, which is also the axis of rotation of the locking cylinder 22.
  • cover plate 31 is another on the front of the lid 15 smooth cover plate 31 is placed, the outer contour of which is also complementary to the inner contour of the housing 11 in the region of the end face 14, so that the cover plate 31 is also recessed in the front of the housing.
  • the cover plate 31 has a recess 32 which is complementary to the cylinder lock 12 and into which the front end region of the cylinder lock 12 extends.
  • Both the cover plate 31 and the cover 15 have, below the cylinder lock 12, axially aligned bores 50, 51, through which a fastening screw 28 extends to the securing plate 24, which has a threaded hole 52 axially aligned with the bores 50, 51, into which the screw 28 is screwed.
  • the securing plate 24 and the cover 15 are braced against the projections 29 from opposite sides, and it is thus ensured that both the cover 15 with the cover plate 31 and the securing plate 24 are fastened without play and with only a single fastening element.
  • the key switch according to the invention is assembled as follows: First, the switch 17 is placed axially on the pins 49 in the open housing until it rests on the bottom 16 of the housing 11.
  • the securing plate 24 is then inserted axially into the housing until it is seated on the end faces 41 'of the lateral ribs 41. Then it is then moved in the direction of arrow P in FIG. 2 until it sits in the gap 44 and abuts the lower wall of the housing 11 in FIG. 2. 6, the lateral bores 46 are provided with holding bores 53 and the projections 47 of the lid 15 to be placed so that the pins 47 enter the bores 46, 53 when the lid is put on and thus bring about a corresponding fixation of the switch 17 and the securing plate 24. This also contributes to the fact that the contour of the passage opening 25 is adapted to the contour of the cylinder lock 12 and the fastening projection 26.
  • the key 34 is first inserted into the locking cylinder 22 and the beard 13 is rotated such that it comes into alignment with one of the recesses 45. Now the cover 15 can be inserted, the beard axially entering the insertion recess 23 'of the fork-shaped actuating counterpart 23, which is aligned with one of the recesses 45.
  • the locking plate 24 has on one side protruding ribs 54, which extend above all in the area surrounding the passage opening 25.
  • the rear boundary surface of the securing plate 24 is arranged axially at different depths. The training is so that, depending on whether the cylinder lock 12 is attached to the fastening projection 26 in the front or rear position by means of the retaining pin 27, the beard 13 of the locking cylinder 22 when it engages behind the locking plate 24 without great play near the back surface of the locking plate 24 is arranged.
  • the securing plate 24 is in the position according to FIG. 7, while when the retaining pin 27 is arranged in the front bore 39 according to FIGS. 5, 6 for the Locking plate 24 the position shown in FIG. 8 is selected.
  • stop tabs 55 are injection molded onto both sides of the securing plate 24, as a result of which the retaining pin 27 is simply inserted into one of the bores 39, 39' and the bore 40 aligned therewith prior to placement of the cover 15 can be inserted into the housing 11 and does not have to be fixed axially because this task automatically takes over the stop tabs 55 after the cover 15 has been placed on the housing 11.
  • the invention thus provides a key switch that can be assembled and disassembled with the least effort and with a minimum of fastening means, and at the same time an unauthorized disassembly by persons who do not have a suitable key is excluded.
