Definitions

  • the invention relates to a floor display with at least two trays arranged at a distance one above the other and a support body arranged between the two trays, which in a support position keeps the two trays of the floor display at a distance from one another.
  • Such floor displays are already known in practice. They usually have four trays arranged one above the other, on which the goods are presented. The base of the trays can decrease towards the top, so that the impression of a pyramid-like tower is created. The support body sit centrally between the trays, so that the goods can be arranged around the support body.
  • floor displays have proven particularly useful for the sale of higher-value goods, there is the problem that the floor displays on the one hand consist of a large number of individual parts and are accordingly complicated to set up. As a rule, these storey displays are therefore delivered to the retailer in assembled condition, where they are then fitted with the corresponding products. However, this means that an enormous amount of space is required when transporting the fully assembled displays, so that the loading volume of a truck cannot generally be used.
  • the object of the present invention is therefore to improve a floor display of the type mentioned in such a way that it is easy to set up on the one hand and that it requires little transport volume on the other.
  • the support body consists of a folding blank connected to the upper and lower trays and from a flat folded rest position, in which the two trays lie flat on one another, can be transferred to the support position by lifting the upper tray, and in that the support body has opposite swivel tabs which are articulated at one end to one of the two trays, while the other Free ends ends, and which stabilize the support body in the support position.
  • this solution has the advantage that the storey display can already be completely manufactured in the manufacturing plant, in which the folding blank of the support body is connected to the upper and lower trays by gluing. Apart from the trays and the folding blanks, no further individual parts are required to assemble the display, so that assembly is unnecessary and the display can be sold directly. It proves to be particularly advantageous that the transport volume of the display can be reduced to 1/10 to 1/20 compared to conventional floor displays. Once in the store, only the upper trays need to be lifted, causing the support body to unfold and move to its support position.
  • the support body can furthermore have opposite guide plates, one end of which is pivotally articulated to the other of the two trays, while the other end is pivotally connected to the pivot plate, at a location between the two ends the swivel tab is located.
  • the swivel tabs are essentially parallel to the trays. If the upper tray is now raised, the guide tabs cause the pivot tabs to be pivoted about their pivot axis into an upright position, which then corresponds to the support position of the support body. In the support position, the weight of the upper tray then essentially rests on the swivel tabs pivoted into the upright position.
  • the length of the guide plates preferably corresponds approximately to the remaining length of the swivel plate between the connection point with the guide plate and its free end. In other words, this means that in the support position of the support body, the guide plate lies flat against the swivel plate, which contributes to a further stabilization of the support body in the support position.
  • the support body also has opposing stabilizing tabs, each with one end is pivotally connected to the one tray and at the other end is pivotably connected to the other tray, a crease line extending essentially parallel to the pivot axes being provided between the two ends, and furthermore the planes of the stabilizing tabs in the support position of the support body transverse to the levels of the swivel tabs are aligned.
  • the stabilizing tabs In the rest position of the support body, the stabilizing tabs are folded onto one another in an accordion-like manner.
  • the pivot axes of the stabilizing straps run transversely to the pivot axes of the pivoting straps and the guide straps.
  • the stabilizing tabs In the support position of the support body, the stabilizing tabs have the effect that the support body is stiffened and the pivoting tabs cannot move in a parallelogram-like manner even under high load.
  • a particularly simple possibility for fixing the free ends of the swivel brackets in the supporting position of the support body is obtained if latching projections are provided on the free ends of the swivel brackets which engage in corresponding latching recesses in the associated tray in the supporting position. It has turned out to be particularly favorable here if the latching recesses are designed as slots in the tray which directly adjoin the guide tabs.
  • the distance between the ends of the opposite swivel plates articulated on the trays is equal to the distance between the ends of the opposite guide plates articulated on the trays. And if the distance between the articulated ends of the opposite guide and swivel brackets is equal to the width of the stabilizing brackets. In this way, the edges of the stabilizing tabs rest directly on the inside of the guide or pivoting tabs when the support body is in the support position.
  • the stabilizing straps and the guide straps can be formed in a common punch cut in a structurally particularly simple manner, in such a way that they are connected at one end in each case via a folding line to a common adhesive flap of the same blank, with which the support body is glued to a tray.
  • the guide tabs are glued to the inside of the pivoting tabs with adhesive tabs, the adhesive tabs extending as far as the pivot axis of the pivoting tab. This results in further stiffening of the swivel tabs.
  • the swivel tabs themselves can be made from a common punched blank and articulated to a common adhesive tab with which the support body is glued to the other tray. Overall, the division of the support body into two punch cuts enables the highly stressed parts, such as the swivel tabs, to be made of a different material than e.g. the stabilizing and guiding tabs. For example, a multi-layer corrugated cardboard can be used for the swivel brackets.
  • the swivel tabs are attached to the underside of the respective upper tray and the guide and stabilizing tabs are attached to the top of the respective lower tray.
  • the trays can also have a continuous, upward-facing edge and can nevertheless be folded flat so that the trays are nested one inside the other.
  • the floor display 1 shown in the drawing comprises three trays 2, 3 and 4 arranged one above the other. Each of the trays has a circumferential, upwardly directed edge 5 which serves on the one hand to stiffen the trays and on the other hand to prevent the falling of goods placed on the trays .
  • Support bodies made of a folding cardboard blank are arranged between the individual trays.
  • the lowest support body 6, which is arranged below the tray 4, serves as a base for the floor display. However, a conventional base can optionally be used.
  • the support body 6 can be laid flat so that the floor display can assume a state as shown in FIG. 2. From this rest position, the support body 6 can be unfolded into a support position, so that the storey display 1 can be transferred to a use position, as shown in FIG. 1.
  • the support bodies consist of two folded blanks glued together.
  • the first folding blank comprises two swivel tabs 7, one end of which is connected to a common adhesive tab 9 via a fold line 8.
  • the two swivel tabs 7 are glued to the underside of the tray 2 via the adhesive tab 9. Accordingly, the swivel tabs 7 hinged end and a free end.
  • the free end of the swivel tabs 7 each has a latching projection 10 which can engage in correspondingly designed latching slots 11 in the underlying tray 3 (see FIGS. 3 and 4).
  • the other folding blank comprises guide tabs 12 and stabilizing tabs 13.
  • the stabilizing tabs 13 and the guide tabs 12 are each articulated via fold lines 14 and 15 to a common adhesive tab 16, which in turn is glued to the top of the tray 3, so that the Articulated ends of the guide tabs 12 are in the immediate vicinity of the locking slots 11.
  • the fold lines 14 of the guide plates 12 run parallel to the fold lines 8 of the swivel plates 7 on the one hand and, on the other hand, at right angles to the fold lines 15 of the stabilizing plates 13.
  • the stabilizing plates 13 themselves are again in their middle by a horizontal fold line 17 into an upper and a lower section divided.
  • the upper section of the stabilizing flap 13 is glued to the underside of the adhesive flap 9 with an end flap 18 which is articulated via a fold line (not shown).
  • the guide tabs 12 also have an adhesive tab 19 at their free end, which is pivotally connected to the rest of the guide tab 12 via a folding line 20.
  • the adhesive flap 19 is glued to the inside of the swivel flaps 7 and extends approximately to the fold line 8 of the swivel flaps 7.
  • the length of the guide flaps 12 corresponds approximately to the length of the region of the swivel flap 7 which extends beyond the guide flap 12 to the locking projection 10.
  • the width of the stabilizing tabs 13 corresponds approximately to the distance between the fold lines 8 with one another or 14 with one another.
  • the entire floor display is made of corrugated cardboard. Due to the two-part cut for the support body 6, it is possible to produce the stabilizing and guide tabs from a lighter, for example single-layer corrugated cardboard, while the swivel tabs 7 can be made from a stronger, for example multi-layer corrugated cardboard.
  • the upper tray 2 is first raised. Before lifting, the support body 6 is in the position shown in FIG. 6. If the tray 2 is raised relative to the tray 3, the guide straps 12 pull the swivel straps downward, as shown in FIG. 4. Shortly before the swivel tabs 7 assume their vertical position, they strike with their locking projection 10 on the top of the tray 3. In this position, the support body 6 already holds the tray 2, so that the tray 2 can be released without the support body 6 collapsing. However, the tray cannot yet carry any heavy loads.
  • the storey display is then in the position shown in FIG. 1. Any assembly of the floor display is done in reverse order. It is easily understandable that the disposal of the floor display is much easier than with conventional displays. Without the support bodies having to be torn apart, the storey display in the position shown in FIG. 2 can be removed in an extremely compact and space-saving manner.
