Definitions
- the invention relates to a cleaning cloth for clamping onto a wiping frame for such a cleaning cloth, with pockets for receiving the opposite ends of the clamp, as e.g. is known from DE-A-3 139 245.
- the edge of the cloth rises up and ensures that the wall attachment is cleaned, e.g. a rubbing strake.
- Known cleaning cloths of this type are either fringed on the edge, simply stretched over the frame or stand on all sides with an edge about 5 cm beyond the frame edges.
- the stenter frames are also general state of the art, as they are commercially available, so that they are not described in detail here.
- the wiper frames are angled into the pockets and then stretched to their extended, stable position.
- the invention has for its object to absorb dust and dirt better than previous cleaning wipes, also in the Corner areas on the baseboard can be cleaned better without the person cleaning them having to bend down and may have to clean these areas with an extra cloth.
- the edge of the cleaning cloth is preferably folded over and sewn onto itself at least twice, the resulting outer bead being at least three layers and the inner bead resulting therefrom being at least two layers.
- the width of the inner bead and / or outer bead is approximately 2 cm in relation to the seam in a preferred embodiment.
- the multiple turning over creates a relatively stiff construction consisting of outer bead, inner bead and seam, the forms a kind of rocker when the seam lies on the bracket.
- the bracket When inserted, the bracket presses this "rocker” around the seam, since it slips under the inner bead, thus ensuring optimal cleaning.
- the protrusion of the stenter into the bead ensures that it does not come into contact with furniture or the like, thus preventing damage.
- the construction according to the invention is also not as rigid overall as if plastic were used for the bags. Wringing out becomes easier, the effort is considerably reduced.
- the cleaning in the corners is improved in that the cleaning cloth has a trapezoidal shape in cross section to its longitudinal direction, this truncated cone-shaped body of the stretching cloth widening downward.
- this conical shape or trapezoidal shape in cross-section or truncated cone-shaped shape of the stretch cloth or pile has the advantage over the known products that even in negative offset walls an optimal Cleaning these corners can be achieved.
- the cleaning cloth can have an intermediate layer, on one side, for example the top, of which there is a long pile, and on the other side, for example the underside, of which there is a short pile.
- Bags as before are on both sides.
- a band of elastic material such as rubber is sewn into the pockets. This makes the seat even tighter and the clamping more elastic.
- a folded end of the rubber band can be attached to the base body, e.g. of the long pile, the other end may be sewn through the intermediate layer, for example with the second pile side.
- the elastic band can be sewn in two layers, the inner layer can be shorter than the outer one. This ensures that the thing is particularly elastic, since first the inner layer of the rubber band is tensioned, then, to ensure a better grip, the outer layer is also tensioned.
- top and bottom of the cloth have the same properties.
- the rubber band results in a tight fit of the floor cloth on the holder, which is inserted into the pockets as before.
- the same structure on the top and bottom helps that the cloth can clean or dry the double surface. This also extends the lifespan of the cloth and improves cleaning in the corners. Fast work is guaranteed by the tight fit of the cloth. The water absorption when cleaning or wiping dry is very good.
- the cloth 10 according to FIG. 1 is struck back at 12 once on itself, a second time on itself. This cloth 10 also serves to form the pockets.
- Figure 2 shows how the cloth is folded, manufactured, needled and thus stiffened twice.
- An outer bead is formed at 18 and an inner bead at 20.
- Figure 3 shows the construction after insertion of the tenter or the stretcher bracket S. It can be seen that the stiffening around the seam 16 one of the inner bead and outer bead 18; 20 rocker was formed, which pivots around the seam when inserting the bracket S or when starting against the wall.
- the bracket S engages due to the construction formed under the bead 20 and thus constantly presses the outer bead 18 down.
- W denotes the wall, against the corner of which is formed by the skirting board the short, stiff bead starts.
- the tenter frame is pushed under the pile or cleaning rag and (bead 20) presses the bead 18 projecting over the tenter frame S so that it can no longer fold over.
- FIG. 4 Another construction is shown in Figures 4 and 5.
- a kind of pocket or bar 32 is created perpendicular to the plane of the horizontal bead, that is to say vertically, from the material (covering) of the cleaning cloth lying horizontally by sewing at 30.
- this “tilting bar” 32 tilts up and down around the seam 30, according to FIG. 5 at 34 only downwards.
- This vertical bar can be stiffened as desired, for example by needling, gluing, stapling or the like, in order to remain in its position. A deposit is also possible.
- This vertical bar can also be designed like an accordion in other embodiments.
- Figure 6 (sheet 1) finally shows a different construction.
- the room R has, for example, a shape with corners smaller than 90 °.
- the cleaning cloth ST does not reach corner E, so this area remains uncleaned.
- a cleaning cloth 40 which has a conical, trapezoidal (in cross section transverse to the longitudinal extension) or frustoconical cross section Has.
- the truncated cone extends downwards. With the tip or edge it is possible to fully extend the corners, nevertheless the base part 44 lies fully on.
- the cleaning bracket can have a round or square or square cross section. Even in negative offset walls, as shown in Figure 6, this corner is optimally cleaned.
- the cleaning cloth according to the invention can be made on the basis of knitted fabrics, in particular knitted fabrics, knitted fabrics should not be excluded, but are rarely used for industrial purposes.
- the cleaning cloth can wear a pile that is designed in a special way.
- a fiber with a special texture is used, namely fibers with a saw blade-like effect or saw blade-like design are used. The success is that this means that only 5% of the cleaning agent has to be used as before in order to achieve a good result.
- a saw blade-like fiber is closely associated with a smooth fiber. This assignment can be loose, can consist of twisting or twisting and welding. Depending on the requirements, cotton components can also be used in addition to the synthetic fibers.
- the back of the carrier material can be prepared by adding chemical agents so that the fibers weld to the carrier material when heated or by this agent.
- 50% cotton fibers can be present in the pile of the cleaning cloth, with 50% synthetic fibers.
- thermoplastic fibers will be used both as smooth fibers and as sawtooth fibers.
- FIG. 7 shows a double floor cloth, which according to the illustration can be provided with a long pile 56 and a short pile 58.
- the two floras can also be the same and of the same nature.
- the pockets 52 are formed and flanged as before. What is new is that a rubber band 54 is sewn into the pockets. The inner and outer seams are shown again with dashed lines. As before, the holder is inserted into the pockets 52.
- an intermediate layer between the upper and lower pile which is designated by 60, is provided.
- a cleaning cloth is provided at the top and one at the bottom and sewn over the intermediate layer 60.
- the elastic band 54 can be sewn against the upper pile with one folded edge, as shown at 54, and sewn with the other edge against the fixed pile. At this point the elastic band is needled in particular through the upper pile, through the lower pile, through the back and through the intermediate layer.
- the rubber band can consist of two layers, an inner shorter layer and an outer longer layer, as shown, so that there is a gradually increasing tightness.
- the arrows illustrate the insertion of the holder H.
