Definitions

  • the invention relates to a protective helmet fastening system provided on both sides for adjustable Bracket from a face shield and / or ear muffs according to the preamble of independent claim 1.
  • a bracket which is on both sides of the Protective helmet by means of a screw connection, which the wall of which passes through, is fixed to the helmet (DE-A-22 60 311; DE-U-73 35 724).
  • a disadvantage of this Construction is next to the increased manufacturing effort an often inadmissible weakening of the helmet shell as a result of the two through holes, and one to be carried Privacy screens would have to be created separately.
  • Clamping parts were also developed on the edge of the helmet are to be fixed, with the clamping parts carrying bracket record for the ear muffs (DE-U-74 15 619; DE-C-27 05 348). These clamping parts are relatively simple in their constructive structure, but they are only suitable to hold a bracket. The simultaneous coupling face and hearing protection not possible.
  • EP-A-0 532 483 discloses a holder on a helmet, also only for a face shield that can be swiveled up or down is suitable, but not also for Ear cups.
  • the face shield is made by two Support brackets held. One end of each bracket is on the face shield attached while at the other end of the bracket Bearing journal is provided. This journal is in one triangular eyelet and can hold three different, locked Take positions.
  • US-A-4 124 902 describes a holder on a protective helmet for a face shield as well as ear muffs.
  • the bracket consists of several complicated molded parts with a fine toothing and a clamping screw, whereby there is a high manufacturing cost.
  • For insertion the face shield and / or the ear muffs you have to partially disassemble the brackets. More constructive Construction and assembly make the brackets in use susceptible to failure, which is the case under harsher operating conditions such as occur in forest work, particularly negative affects.
  • the known fastening devices Working helmets for fixing face and hearing protection elements cannot all be rated as optimal will.
  • the invention therefore pursues the objective of to create a fastening system to which both the brackets for a privacy screen, as the brackets for ear muffs at the same time can be coupled.
  • the handling of the head protection elements must be simple and safe. Also in The entire protection system should be used in the electrical sector be.
  • the fastening device by a certain robustness and sufficient against pollution be protected.
  • the constructive structure must Allow inexpensive manufacture. For special applications, where this is sufficient, the fastening system with reduced design effort only the inclusion of a face shield or ear muffs allow.
  • the main use case is assumed, namely that the mounting system for the bracket both of the face shield and of Ear cups is designed.
  • the new fastening system offers compared to the previous state the technology has considerable advantages.
  • the use of a with safety helmet equipped with this fastening system turns out to be advantageous.
  • the relatively small, compact and reduced weight construction as well as the function of the system leads to an optimal contact pressure of the Ear muffs when folded to the ears, for improved foldability - at a distance to the ears - and swiveling in the direction of the Back of the head. Swiveling is also improved of the face shield between the two end positions "lowered - shielding the face" and "raised - releasing the face ".
  • the constructive structure of the Fastening system enables a balanced mass distribution of the protective devices so that their stable positioning in the respective swivel position is guaranteed and for the helmet wearer none, noticeable changes in stress arise.
  • the system has no metal parts, so that one equipped with it Protective helmet also used for electrical work can be.
  • the brackets for the ear muffs and the face shield no longer differentiate between left and right parts will.
  • the protective helmet is used with both attached ear muffs as well as the face shield used, for example when working in the forest Chainsaws.
  • the fastening system is capsule-like The best structure against pollution and against manipulating Interventions protected. There is no relative in any way loosely attached parts, for example a tension spring, that could get lost.
  • the protective helmet 1 has according to Figures 1a to 1c on its lower edge, in the one that extends outwards Helmet rim 11 one on each side vertically extending insertion groove passing through the helmet rim 11 12, which of upstanding webs 13 is surrounded.
  • the insertion grooves 12 are arranged vertically above the ears of a potential helmet wearer.
  • a fastening device is in each of the two insertion grooves 12 100 used and with one from the fastening device 100 vertically bottom extending tab 121, the tab 121 penetrates the insertion groove 12 from above and is conducted in this.
  • the leadership is strengthened the insertion tab 121 in the insertion groove 12 through the the insertion groove 12 surrounding webs 13, so that a Type guide sleeve 14 is formed.
  • Every fastening device 100 is a support bracket 110 - the left one or the right one - the face shield 2 and each a bracket 150 for the respective left or right Hearing protector 3 fixed.

  • One of the Cross-sectional areas of the support edge 122 namely those which is the transition between arm 111 and the claw 112 facing the bracket 110 serves as a stop 123 when lifting the bracket 110.
  • a clutch cam 126 rises from the center of the bracket plate 120 a clutch cam 126 - here with the cross-sectional shape a hexagon - around which the claw 112 of the bracket 110 takes hold.
  • the clutch cam 126 has at least that Height corresponding to the material thickness of the claw 112, where the material thickness of the entire bracket is 110 according to the strength requirement and the space available certainly.
  • Lid-shaped on the clutch cam 126 sits a retaining washer 127; the clutch cam 126 and the holding disc 127 can expediently form a seamless part.
  • the holding disc The task of 127 is to prevent the Claw 112 and thus the entire bracket 110 from the Coupling cam 126 and perpendicular to the bracket plate 120 slides down.
  • the clutch cam 126 and the Inner contour 113 - here a hexagon socket - the claw 112 have an approximately complementary geometry.
  • the claw 112 is designed like a wrench, where the mouth opening 114 in the local variant extends downwards.
  • the claw 112 furthermore has a groove-shaped elasticity recess 115. This passes through the material thickness of the claw 112 and extends approximately from the transition between claw 112 and the arm 111 partially in the arcuate shape the claw 112 into it.
  • the elasticity recess 115 has the function that when plugging in and taking off of the bracket 110, more precisely the claw 112 on the Coupling cam 126, as well as when adjusting the attached Support bracket 110, the mouth opening 114 rather expanded and the operations are thereby facilitated.
  • the clutch cams 126 and the inner contour 113 are dimensioned to each other so that a tighter Seat results. Corners and flanks of the inner contour 113 of the Claw 112 press against the corresponding corners and Flanks of the clutch cam 126. With an adjustment of the bracket 110 from the lowered to the raised Position or vice versa there is a partial twist the claw 112 around the fixed clutch cam 126. When turning, the clutch cam 126 the mouth opening 114 and the claw 112 as such spread a little bit until there is continuous rotation between the inner contour 113 and the clutch cam 126 results in a next snap position. The The claw 112 is spread and contracted by the elasticity recess 115 favors significantly. In the geometric adjustment between the inner contour 113 and clutch cam 126 it is for relief the adjustment of the support bracket 110 is advantageous, remaining air gaps 116 in the clutch cam assembly 126 and this claw 112 to be provided.

Furthermore, the spring bar 148 is through a contact edge 156 on the claw 152, which by the The sliding surface 153 lies behind the switching edge 154 and against the underside of the bulbous nose profile 149 presses, slightly bent upwards from its rest position. When viewed vertically, the contact flank lies 156 through the bevels on the claw 152 around one shade lower than the one in this position Switching edge 154 forming ridge line. During adjustment the bottom of the nose profile 149 has this position the switching edge 154 skipped. It was a maximum Deflection of the spring bar 148 and thus also Peak spring force exceeded, so that the Retaining bracket 150 remains in this position.
  • This position means that the bracket 150 protrudes obliquely from the fastening device 100.
  • the stirrup became the folded position in a swivel motion with a certain effort moved outwards.
  • the spring bar lifts up 148 a little bit and the spring force increases itself, because the switching edge 154 is higher than that Contact edge 156. With further adjustment, this moves Nose profile 149 on the sliding surface 153. As this on the y coordinate viewed below the switching edge 154 lies, the spring bar 148 jumps in the direction of it Rest position.
  • the spring bar 148 is deflected upwards again because the lever arm by adjusting the claw 152 from the axis of rotation 151 to the underside of the nose profile 149 extended, causing the spring bar to be successively is pushed further up.
  • the maximal Deflection and spring force reach the nose profile 149, if the switching edge 155 the bottom of the nose profile 149 happens. Then the nose profile 149 jumps from the previously passed sliding surface 153 and the switching edge 155 just passed behind this, the spring bar 148 also drops suddenly.
  • the switching edge 155 is considered on the x coordinate left of the nose profile 149 and the bracket 150 remains in this position.
  • the putting on and taking off of the face shield 2 and the ear muffs 3 happens by inserting or pulling out the two fastening devices 100 in or out of the protective helmet 1 with those on the fasteners 100 already fixed pairs of carrying brackets 110 and holding brackets 150, on which the face shield 2 or Ear cups 3 are attached. It therefore exists no need, too easy to put on and removing the face shield 2 and the Ear muffs 3, which on the brackets 110, respectively hang on the bracket 150, directly on the or to be provided by the fastening devices 100.
