Abstract

Une barre de seuil profilée (10) présentant un sommet bombé (12) est fixée au sol et une barre profilée (20) en principe en T est fixée au vantail de la porte (1). Cette barre profilée (20) comprend un élément basculant (24) en étoile qui comporte trois branches. A son sommet, cet élément basculant est relié par l'intermédiaire d'une bande (29) non-rigide faisant office d'articulation, à une nervure (22) de la barre profilée. La jonction entre une branche intérieure (26) de l'élément basculant et une nervure horizontale (23) se fait en outre à l'aide d'une bande élastique (26a). La figure représente la position ouverte. Lorsqu'on ferme la porte, une branche inférieure (25) de l'élément basculant vient buter contre l'intérieur du sommet bombé de la barre de seuil profilée (10), l'élément basculant passe sur ledit sommet et une branche extérieure (27) de l'élément basculant recouvre l'extérieur du sommet bombé de la barre de seuil profilée (10), ce qui fait qu'une bande d'étanchéité (28) non-rigide recouvre l'extérieur du sommet bombé de la barre de seuil profilée. Lorsqu'on ouvre le vantail de la porte, l'élément basculant repasse automatiquement en position d'ouverture.
