Definitions
- the present invention relates to the field general technique of product application devices hot-melt, such as depilatory wax, ointments, creams, or even glues or varnishes, in which the product stored in solid form at room temperature, must be subjected to a heat flux to change state and pass at least in a pasty state so that it can be applied.
- product application devices hot-melt such as depilatory wax, ointments, creams, or even glues or varnishes
- the present invention relates more particularly an applicator of hot-melt products, in particular depilatory wax, comprising a casing associated with a means of gripping, a reservoir of the product to be applied in relation thermal with heating means, and at least one roller applicator disposed in the vicinity of an outlet orifice of the tank.
- hot-melt products it is advisable to understand within the meaning of the invention, all types of products likely to take at room temperature a state solid physical, even semi-solid or pasty, but likely to change state under the action of heat physical to tend towards a liquid state likely to allow its spreading in the form of thin layers.
- the invention more particularly aims to protect a depilatory wax applicator, but it's obvious that the applicator of hot-melt products conforming to the invention is in no way limited to this use specific, and that hot-melt products such as waxes or glues can be applied using the applicator according to the invention.
- the hair removal technique by applying a wax depilatory consists of melting a certain amount of wax, then apply a layer of this wax in the melt on the area to be epilated. - the slide 50 has two legs 51 extending substantially parallel, rigidly connected in opposite position by a spacer 52. Each leg is provided at its upper end axially aligned holes 53 for supporting the pins 17 of the roller applicator 15.
- the slide 50 is intended to be inserted into the body of the case 1, the legs 51 sliding against the internal faces of the head 11 ( Figure 8).
- Each leg 51 comprises in the central part a tongue of blocking 53 cut in the thickness of the jamb 51.
- the tabs 53 are terminate at their upper end with a flange 54 folded in the direction of the axis x-x ', each flange 54 being intended to come to engage, when the slide 50 is in the low working position, as shown in FIG. 8, with an inclined face 55 provided at the bottom of the head 11 to lock the position in position slide 50.
- the locking tabs 53 have sufficient elasticity to deform in the direction of the axis x-x 'and allow, by gripping the applicator roller 15, the erasure of the edges 54 out of the inclined faces 55 and sliding along arrow F1 of the slide out of the outlet orifice 11b to its high release position.
- the slide 50 is provided, towards the lower end of each leg 51, with stops external 56 capable of engaging the inclined faces 55 when the slide 50 is in the high release position to oppose its total extraction. A such an arrangement does not reduce the transmission of thermal energy to the core 16, because in the working position, the pins 17 are supported by columns 57 in the head 11.
- the applicator of hot-melt products according to the invention works as follows.
- the user first extracts the roll applicator 15 in order to clear access to reservoir 2 to ensure its loading with depilatory wax through the opening superior 2b.
- extraction can take place manually or using the pliers 30.
- the user grasps the arms 31 and the deviates slightly against the restoring force exerted by the circular half-crown 33.
- the clamp 30 is then positioning on the applicator roller 15 so that each arm 31 encloses the lateral faces of the roller applicator 15 ( Figure 4).
- Each lug 34 thus cooperates with the circular lip 40 associated therewith. By loosening pressure on the arms 31 these then come grip securely through each lug 34 the gripping sculptures 40.
- the wax After connecting the applicator to a source power supply the wax gradually becomes liquid and the user can then contact the applicator roller 15 on the surface to be depilated in order to allow the flow of wax on the application layer 18.
- the user can again, for cleaning purposes, for example, extract the roller applicator 15 using the pliers 30 according to the steps previously described.
- extraction pliers 30 avoids having to directly grasp the applicator roller 15 still coated with a certain amount of depilatory wax, and also allows to pose without risk of soiling for the medium surrounding the roller 15 by resting the clamp extraction 30 on the support legs 35.
- the invention also relates to an assembly applicator of hot-melt product comprising in combination both a hot melt applicator and a extraction pliers 30.
- the applicator assembly can have a base (not shown in the figures) for the support and storage of the applicator and the pliers.
- the base can be provided with a timer, in particular audible, allowing the user after connecting the applicator to the electrical sector, display the average time required for the wax to melt solid.
- extraction clamp 30 As a variant, it is possible not to make extraction clamp 30 as a separate element of the applicator as shown in Figure 3, but at contrary to integrating the extraction clamp 30 into a cap 45 for closing the applicator head ( Figure 5).
- the extraction clamp 30 is integral with the cap 45 and is provided on its lateral arms with pushers 46 passing through the cap 45 via openings so as to be operated by the user.
- the pushers 46 allow when one wants to extract the applicator roller to set the lugs 34 in motion allow their engagement with the gripping sculptures 40.
- the removability of the applicator roller 15 is then obtained by simultaneous extraction of the cap 45 and the roller applicator 15. Extraction of the cap 45 can be obtained without extracting the applicator roller 15, omitting activate the pushers 46.

Description
The present invention relates to the field general technique of product application devices hot-melt, such as depilatory wax, ointments, creams, or even glues or varnishes, in which the product stored in solid form at room temperature, must be subjected to a heat flux to change state and pass at least in a pasty state so that it can be applied.
The present invention relates more particularly an applicator of hot-melt products, in particular depilatory wax, comprising a casing associated with a means of gripping, a reservoir of the product to be applied in relation thermal with heating means, and at least one roller applicator disposed in the vicinity of an outlet orifice of the tank.
By hot-melt products it is advisable to understand within the meaning of the invention, all types of products likely to take at room temperature a state solid physical, even semi-solid or pasty, but likely to change state under the action of heat physical to tend towards a liquid state likely to allow its spreading in the form of thin layers. The invention more particularly aims to protect a depilatory wax applicator, but it's obvious that the applicator of hot-melt products conforming to the invention is in no way limited to this use specific, and that hot-melt products such as waxes or glues can be applied using the applicator according to the invention.
Regardless of the type of depilatory wax applicator considered, the hair removal technique by applying a wax depilatory, consists of melting a certain amount of wax, then apply a layer of this wax in the melt on the area to be epilated. After hardening, i.e. after cooling, the cold wax film is removed at using all appropriate means, the hairs then being extracts from the skin due to their attachment to the melted wax.
To implement this technique widely widespread, we already know hot wax dispensers ready to use, consisting of a heated wax tank by any means, such as a similar device to a bottle warmer. These devices are supplemented by a single wax distributor roller independent of the tank, that the user introduces into the wax mass in order to coat it with a mass of wax. These devices, of great hardiness, no longer meet the needs of depilatory wax users due in particular to numerous disadvantages of use. So the temperature application of the wax is practically uncontrollable as well besides the thickness of application of the wax layer. These devices are also considered bulky and give rise to a long, tedious hair removal operation, often messy and also involves over-consumption of wax.
To improve the previous devices mentioned previously, it has already been proposed, in particular in the request FR-A-2520601, an applicator assembly comprising a housing provided with heated housings in which are housed manual applicators intended to be implemented by the user. The applicators are provided with an internal reservoir of depilatory wax, and a wax applicator roller. Such an applicator obviously constitutes a noticeable improvement over previous devices, but it does resolve however not completely the essential problem of the control of the wax application temperature. Indeed, the heating of the wax does not intervene only discontinuously over time when the applicator is in the heated accommodation. It turns out that after a while of application the temperature of the wax decreases rapidly and is only consequence more at a favorable temperature level. This results in a increasing difficulty in application, and in particular the appearance of a wax spinning phenomenon negatively influencing the quality of hair removal. This drawback is accompanied by over-consumption of wax and heterogeneous application which ultimately leads to a non-depilatory result satisfactory. To partially alleviate this problem, the user is then obliged to frequently put the applicator back into the heated compartments, which thoughtlessly lengthens the time spent on the hair removal operation, without guaranteeing better control of the temperature of the wax or moreover a better end result.
It has thus been proposed, to partially remedy the lack of applicator assemblies separating the wax heating tank from the unit application, to perform, for example as described in the request EP-A-0368698 a manual applicator comprising in the same housing a wax tank, a heating resistor and an applicator roller. To improve the ease of application of the wax, but also to try to control the temperature of the wax as well as possible, it is provided in addition to the first heating means, a second heating means or a storage accumulator heat, arranged at the roller. Such a device ensures a certain control of the temperature of application of the wax and reduced by a certain way the risk of occurrence of the mentioned spinning phenomenon previously. The presence of a heating means directly in the applicator roller can cause a risk of overheating the wax or burns on the user's skin. Furthermore, such a device turns out to be of a delicate realization insofar as it requires the mounting of two means separate heaters in a box. Ultimately the reliability of such a device is not insured and its cost is high.
Cette simplification est obtenue grâce aux caractéristiques de la revendication 1.The object of the present invention therefore aims to remedy

according to the invention is simplified by the elimination of the second heating means.

The hot melt applicator shown in the

depilatory wax and includes a

The upper zone of the
the invention also includes an
The
(Figure
2a).The
rétrécissement 22.Maintaining the
disponibles.The production of a
L'applicateur conforme à l'invention comporte
The applicator according to the invention comprises

(Figure 3).
reposer en équilibre stable sur lesdits pieds d'appui 35 (Figure 6).The roll in or out
A titre
rainures ménagées dans la masse du noyau 16.The gripping lugs 34 are intended to cooperate with

(Figure 8).
ménagées dans la tête 11.Figures 7 and 8 show an alternative embodiment
of the invention according to which the
The applicator of hot-melt products according to the invention works as follows.
21.The user first extracts the
d'extraction 30 sur les pieds d'appui 35.After connecting the applicator to a source
power supply the wax gradually becomes
liquid and the user can then contact the
solide. The invention also relates to an assembly
applicator of hot-melt product comprising in combination
both a hot melt applicator and a
mettre en action les poussoirs 46.As a variant, it is possible not to
