Definitions
- the present invention relates to a pillow or mattress-like Device comprising an outer casing for embedding a deceased person in a coffin.
- Bags or honeycomb mattresses which are a covering from cloth, jute or other fabric.
- these bags or mattresses have a side fabric edge on, which serves to cover the coffin walls.
- a coffin insert is used described, which preferably from a rotten and / or combustible material is produced, such as made of thermoplastic polyesters such as aliphatic Polyesters.
- thermoplastic polyesters such as aliphatic Polyesters.
- Polyhydroxybutyrate is specifically proposed and polyhydroxyvaleriate.
- Aliphatic polyesters, such as in particular the two materials mentioned are usually very expensive and are also very fragile, which makes them suitable for the specified purpose is not given.
- Another object of the present invention is in proposing a facility by means of which a deceased person aesthetically and hygienically flawless which can be laid out in a coffin Establishment related to transportation, warehousing as well is simple and inexpensive to handle.
- a polymer film proposed in this way according to the invention is suitable for the manufacture of a pillow or mattress-like Device for embedding a deceased Person in a coffin, for undressing one Coffin, for closing a coffin, as well as for the Making a sack-like shell for a deceased Person, the polymer film at least partially made of thermoplastically processable starch is.
- thermoplastic has proven particularly suitable Processable starch proven to be made from native starch by mechanical and thermal conversion using plasticizers or swelling agents, such as glycerol, Sorbitol or other polyalcohols can be.
- plasticizers or swelling agents such as glycerol, Sorbitol or other polyalcohols
- this can be thermoplastic Processable starch also in a mixture with others biodegradable components, such as polycaprolactone, Cellulose and other polymers and filling or Aggregates are mixed.
- biodegradable polymer material as well as the manufacture the polymer mixture is ultimately aligned according to the local requirements for such Material. It goes without saying even that, for example, due to southern countries increased moisture, higher requirements for water resistance be placed, for example, in northern countries, while conversely biodegradability less of a problem in a warm floor than in an earth in a northern country.
- Such largely biodegradable polymers which at the same time has sufficient water resistance have only recently been known, and are for example based on cellulose, cellulose acetate, Gelatin, polyhydroxy or valeric acid, polycaprolactone, Polyvinyl alcohol and / or other biodegradable Materials built up.
- the previous list is meant to only an extract of possible, for example used Represent materials that are currently intense Research in this area is constantly expanding becomes.
- a pillow-like or mattress-like device comprising an outer shell for embedding a deceased person in a coffin, with at least the shell at least partially from a biological at least largely degradable polymers are made, and chambers or interior spaces are provided to especially with air or a foamable, at least partially rotten material to be filled.
- Essential with this polymer used that is biodegradability or rotting like that is that the material used for burial of a coffin at least as quickly, at least largely biologically is dismantled as the decomposition of a body progresses.
- this polymeric material is at least insensitive to water is that any moisture in the coffin is this Can not attack material. In the end it is too important that the polymer in case of cremation can be burned easily.
- the inner chambers of the pillows are preferably or mattresses from the outside with air or a foamable Material designed to be fillable, one or more Filler neck are provided, which either can be used several times or definitely after one use are designed to be closable.
- the filler neck itself can also be used for the manufacture of the Shell used, biodegradable polymers made be.
- the pillow or mattress according to the invention can both be formed in one or more parts and such be dimensioned to be essentially at least largely to cover the whole coffin floor.
- a pillow can also be designed in such a way that Neck, arm or foot support pillows can be used.
- air chambers are tubular, diagonal, square, rectangular, triangular, polygonal, oval or round chambers are formed.
- the mattress according to the invention preferably comprises or the pillow protruding laterally or overlapping or welded-on edge foils or edge portions in order for the Lining the side walls of the coffin to be used.
- the mattress thus forms welded together with these or protruding edge foils a complete watertight lining of the coffin, with what the need for lining the Sarges are eliminated using tar or bitumen.
- the mattress is covered has open, groove-shaped depressions at the top, preferably arranged between the chambers to Absorb moisture and so the mattress surface to keep as dry as possible.
- the device according to the invention can also be in the form a duvet or a quilt, with which covered a deceased person lying in a coffin can be.
- a sack-like plastic bag which consists of a polymer film according to the invention is made.
- This is particularly advantageous if, for example, not enough in epidemic areas Coffins are present, so that corpses in such plastic bags can be packed up to later in to be laid a coffin. Because the plastic material is rotable, eliminates the need for the polymer shell has to be removed, since it can rot is.
- Fig. 1 is a schematic top view of an inventive Mattress shown embedded in a coffin.
- the coffin 1 shown schematically comprises two Long side walls 2, a foot wall section 3, a head wall section 4, and the bottom 6.
- an air mattress 8 Arranged on the bottom 6 is an air mattress 8 according to the invention, for example made of thermoplastically processable starch or a polymer mixture, largely including thermoplastically processable starch.
- thermoplastic Processable starch is, for example a starch material that is essentially dry with, for example, 25-35% by weight glycerol or sorbitol melted, machined, and then put into a mold as usual used in the plastics processing industry.
- the mattress is manufactured by means of general usual and known techniques, such as generally well-known air mattresses as a camping mat or be manufactured as a swimming aid.
- the thermoplastic processable starch for example in the form of granules, is easy to extrude or blow-molded, around foils or, as mentioned, the inventive Manufacture mattresses.
- the mattress 8 shown according to the invention comprises Air chambers 9, for example, by joining two foils can be produced by welding or gluing can. Again, the usual manufacturing technology referred to manufacture such air mattresses. Essential it is natural that the wall thickness of the Shell is chosen such that, on the one hand, generally customary Air pressures are recorded inside the chambers can, and also not damaged the mattress can be.
- These air chambers 9 can for example via a filler neck 11 with air or with be filled with a foamable material, the filler neck itself also made of thermoplastically processable Strong can be made.
- the mattress 8 is advantageously on its lower one Support edge 18 on all sides with protruding edge parts or welded edges 14 provided along the Coffin side walls 2, 3 and 4 arranged upward can be. At the upper edge of the coffin 15 can these side edges 14 by gluing or welding be firmly connected to the coffin. Likewise The individual edge parts 14 can be welded in the coffin corners 16, so that together with the mattress a completely impermeable to moisture Lining the coffin 1 inside.
- thermoplastically processable starch as a manufacturing material for the mattress according to the invention is of course only an example that can be expanded as desired.
- thermoplastically processable starch it is possible to use a different, biodegradable polymer instead of the starch, but it is important that the polymer used has sufficient water resistance.
- thermoplastically processable starch it is also possible to mix it with polycaprolactone, which results in a largely water-resistant polymer mixture, since polycaprolactone is known to be hydrophobic in contrast to starch.
- polycaprolactone it is also possible, for example, to use a cellulose derivative, such as a cellulose ester or a cellulose acetate / butyrate mixed ester, or an aliphatic polyester, such as polyhydroxybutyric acid or a polyhydroxybutyric acid / valeric acid copolymer.
- a cellulose derivative such as a cellulose ester or a cellulose acetate / butyrate mixed ester
- an aliphatic polyester such as polyhydroxybutyric acid or a polyhydroxybutyric acid / valeric acid copolymer.
- Other mixing components such as a hydrophobic protein or polyvinyl alcohol, are possible, but in most of the above-mentioned cases it is advisable to use a phase mediator, such as a block copolymer, so that the thermoplastically processable starch and the hydrophobic polymer phase are sufficiently miscible, and the ones made from them Films or mattress covers also meet the required mechanical properties and have sufficient water resistance.
- a polycaprolactone / polyvinyl alcohol copolymer may be mentioned as such a phase mediator.
- groups which are reactive with the starch such as epoxy groups or acid anhydride groups, which form the required phase mediator when mixed with the starch in order to enable a homogeneous polymer mixture.
- the various air chambers 9 can all be connected to one another be so that filling the mattress 8 completely is possible via the filler neck 11. Indeed it is also possible to separate different chamber areas to be provided separately, each via individual Filler neck 11 are to be filled. Especially then if the mattress is different in different areas is to fill a deceased, the body dimensions adjusted accordingly to embed on the mattress.
- Fig. 2 along the line I-I is the coffin and the mattress shown in Fig. 1 in section.
- This edge section can either be integral with the Cover of the mattress 8 may be connected, or along of the two edges 13 are welded.
- these edge strips 14 can either be glued on or be welded on so that the inside of the Sarges is fully lined.
- head and foot are each corresponding edge areas arranged on the mattress 8, hence the walls of the coffin in these areas as well are covered on the inside.
- Essential to all of these Fringes is that they are also made of a rotten Material such as that defined in accordance with the invention biodegradable polymers are.
- FIG. 3 in turn shows a further embodiment of a Mattress 8 according to the invention shown, further comprising a pillow area 18.
- This pillow area 18 can either by means of the filler neck 11, which for filling the air chambers of the mattress 8 also serves be filled with air, or separately over an additional filler neck 11a.
- the advantage of one separate filler neck 11a is again in that the pillow individually to the body mass of the to be embedded Person can be customized.
- Fig. 5 shows an individual pillow 5, which also is made from the biodegradable material.
- the cushion 5 is also via a filler neck 11 fillable. With such a pillow can either the head can be placed higher, or else an elevated foot position can be achieved.
- FIG. 6 in turn shows a further embodiment of a Mattress 8 according to the invention shown, comprising transversely extending tubular air chambers 9a.
- Fig. 7 shows a single individual arm cushion analog Fig. 4, and in Fig. 8 are various forms of neck, Arm or foot support pillow shown.
- Fig. 9 is a feed pillow or duvet or one Quilt shown, again made from the biological degradable polymers.
- This preferably comprises Quilt or the duvet or lining pillow a colored, coated, flocked and / or with decorative Patterned outer shell, so that this pillow To give expression to a cloth-like pillow.
- this pillow surrounded by a cloth cover, which of course then the need to color the envelope the pillow itself is eliminated.
- Air or a foamable material can be filled without filler neck on the air mattress or pillow are to be provided.
- a needle-shaped organ 21 the mattress becomes, for example, in a corner area 22 stabbed, and air through this needle into the Mattress filled.
- the area 22 over a Sealed weld 23 which now the filled Air or possibly the filled foam can no longer escape.
- a coffin 1 is shown schematically in FIG Perspective shown that by means of an inventive Polymer film 25 is closed.
- the coffin The polymer film closing at the top is preferably on the side on the edges 15 with the side walls 2, 3 and 4 of the coffin overlapping edge foils, as in the previous Figures shown, welded or glued, to hermetically seal the inside of the coffin outwards close.
- the cover film 25 with the side edges of the coffin 1 glue or weld is also possible.
- the advantage of arranging Such a cover sheet 25 is that a the deceased is kept in a coffin for a long time can be, for example for longer transports, such as in particular for cross-border transports.
- Figs. 1-11 serve only the more detailed explanation of the invention and can modified in any way, of course, changed or supplemented by additional elements. So it is irrelevant whether the chambers of a mattress square, tubular, triangular, round, ect., formed are. It is also possible to have a mattress in one, two, three, four, etc., independent chamber systems to subdivide, each individually with air or a Foam can be filled. It is also immaterial whether these mattresses with air or a foam be filled, however, when in use a foam, necessary that this also at least is largely biodegradable. It is quite conceivable that a cellulose or starch-containing Material in foamable form driven into the mattress where this material then solidifies.
- a polymer film or a Polymer material for the manufacture of a mattress, one Air mattress, a pillow, a cover sheet or one sack-like shell made from an at least almost biological degradable polymer is made, so in fire or Burial no or only insignificant residues at Burn or arise when the material rots.
