Definitions

  • the invention relates to an operating lock for the operating linkage arranged in a folded groove covered by a cover rail on windows, doors or the like.
  • Such operating locks are known in various embodiments.
  • the operating lock is now intended to prevent incorrect actuation of the actuating linkage when the wing is in certain positions.
  • the operating locks are usually located in the vicinity of the manual control element or gearbox for the control linkage, concealed in the fold of the wing.
  • DE-A-34 29 699 shows a pivotably arranged spring-loaded locking lever which is pivotably mounted on the cover rail and can engage in a hook-shaped manner in a corresponding recess in the actuating rod in order to lock it.
  • DE-A-33 33 702 shows a hollow cylindrical spring element with its axis parallel to the cover rail, which is held in a special bowl-shaped mounting plate and supports a plunger-shaped locking member perpendicular to the plane of the cover rail in a locking position.
  • the locking member has an inner widened locking head which engages in a recess of the actuating rod when the spring is relieved and is pressed when the spring comes onto an overrun portion of the other frame element below the level of the actuating rod so that it can be moved, the Shaft of the locking member slides in a longitudinal slot in the actuating rod.
  • the anchoring is carried out by foot parts which engage laterally with clamps in openings which are spaced from the locking member opening in the direction of the cover rails. Further designs for an operating lock are shown in DE-A-33 35 306.
  • a bridge-shaped arched leaf spring is located on the top of the cover rail as a locking spring, which with its in corresponding openings of the cover rail Ends is anchored.
  • the leaf spring carries the locking element, the connection between the operating lock and the cover rail in turn being made by a bayonet-type lock, for the locking of which a special pivot member is necessary.
  • the hook-shaped enlarged end section and the locking member itself can be threaded into an adapted profiled longitudinal opening of the cover rail, which is only possible with simultaneous elastic deformation of the leaf spring, which automatically occurs for the vertical after the end section has entered through the opening
  • Alignment of the locking member and for its reliable anchoring on the cover rail ensures that the enlarged end portion comes to rest under the cover rail in the assembled state or in the installed position.
  • the operating lock can no longer be released from the cover rail, unless it is tilted back against the action of the spring into a cover rail that is opposite the cover rail Positioned in which it can be easily threaded out of the opening.
  • the operating lock apart from the usual openings in the cover rail and actuating rod, is made of the leaf spring, the highest point of which is permanently connected to the locking member designed as a flat rod section. Due to the flat bar profile, it is only necessary to provide a correspondingly rectangular opening in the cover rail, which is adapted in shape and size to the cross section of the flat bar section, the flat bar section having a hook-shaped enlarged section at the end. A lateral extension can be provided on this, at least on one side, for locking with corresponding lateral extensions Recesses of a longitudinal slot in the actuating rod cooperates.
  • the leaf spring can also be provided with a separately manufactured or directly molded actuating part.
  • the actuating linkage with actuating gear (not shown in detail) has at least one actuating rod 1 which can be locked by the operating lock, for example in two of three possible positions.
  • the actuating rod In the area of the operating lock, the actuating rod has a longitudinal slot 4, the length of which comprises the three possible positions of the rod. In two positions of the three possible positions, the longitudinal slot 4 has edge recesses 5, 6 on one side or, as shown, on both sides.
  • the actuating rod is usually covered in a profile groove e.g. arranged of the casement.
  • FIG. 2 shows a wooden frame profile in which the wing 26 has a customary and standardized circumferential groove 28 in the area of the fold, in which the actuating rod 1 is concealed.
  • the fold groove 28 is usually covered by a cover rail 2.
  • the cover rail In the area of the operating lock, the cover rail has a longitudinal opening 7 designed in a predetermined manner in terms of shape and dimensions, which in the example shown consists of a rectangular opening 7 in which edge recesses 5 and 6 of the actuating rod 1 are provided with corresponding edge recesses 8.
  • the operating lock 3 has a bow-shaped leaf spring 9, the ends 10, 11 of which are slightly angled for easier sliding on the surface of the cover rail 2.
  • a locking member 14, which in the preferred and illustrated embodiment consists of a flat rod section, which forms the shaft 15 of the locking member, is rigidly connected to the temple apex.
  • the cross-sectional shape and the longitudinal dimension 20 of the opening 7 in the cover rail 2 is adapted almost exactly to the cross-sectional shape and dimensions of the shaft portion 15 of the locking member, so that the shaft 15 can be accommodated in the opening 7 smoothly but with little play.
  • the shaft section 15 is followed by a hook-shaped section 16 which is widened on one side and has a locking projection 17 on at least one side.
  • the hook-shaped section 16 oriented in the longitudinal position of the cover rail and the opening 7 has a length 19 (FIG. 3) which is greater than the cross-sectional length of the shaft section 15, which in turn corresponds to the length 20 of the recess 7 in the cover rail .
  • the locking member can only be inserted into the opening 7 if the locking member 14 is tilted with respect to the surface plane of the cover rail 2 with simultaneous elastic deformation of the leaf spring 9.
  • the hook-shaped end section 16 of the locking member can be threaded through the opening 7 until it engages under the underside of the cover rail 2.
  • the preload aligns in the Spring 9 the locking member in the normal position perpendicular to the surface of the cover rail and the operating lock is anchored reliably and captively on the cover rail 2.
  • the leaf spring holds the locking member in a position in which the hook-shaped section rests on the underside of the cover rail 2.
  • the lateral extension 17 is arranged with respect to the hook-shaped section 16 so that in this position it engages in a lateral recess 5 or 6 of the actuating rod 1, as shown in FIG. 4.
  • the actuating rod is thus locked.
  • the locking member is pressed inwards, as shown in FIG. 5, so that the projection 17 is released from the recess 5 or 6, whereupon the actuating rod can be moved.
  • the locking projection 17 automatically engages in the locking recesses 5 or 6.
  • the leaf spring has a separate or directly integrally formed actuating member 12 with an actuating slope 13 at its apex. As FIG. 2 shows, this interacts with an overrun section 27 of the frame 25 in order to move the operating lock into the release position when the sash is closed. If the wing is opened, the spring automatically tries to move the operating lock into the locked position, which takes effect when a position of the actuating linkage assigned to the edge recesses 5 or 6 is reached.
  • the operating lock on the cover rail 2 can also be installed after rotation by 180 °.
