Die Andrückwalze 16 kann alternativ statt der Federn 27, die zwischen den Lagerböcken 22, 23 und der Bodenfläche 21 angeordnet sind, auch ein gesondertes, in der Farbwanne 13 angeordnetes pneumatisches Anstellsystem erhalten, so daß die Andrückwalze 16 nur im Bedarfsfall und direkt betätigbar ist. Weiterhin kann die Andrückwalze 16 auch kraftschlüssig mit einem separaten Antrieb, z. B. einem Motor versehen sein. Die Farbwanne 13 kann von einem nicht dargestellten Überlauftrog umgeben sein, der die aus der Farbwanne 13 überlaufende Farbe 14 aufnimmt und über ein Pumpsystem der Farbwanne 13 wieder zuleitet. Eine an den Formzylinder 1 angestellte Rakeleinrichtung ist mit 33 bezeichnet. Eine zwischen dem Presseur 9 und dem Formzylinder 1 in Pfeilrichtung durchlaufende Papierbahn ist mit 34 bezeichnet.The ink tray 13 has on its bottom surface 21 a reinforcing plate 28 against which a lifting device 32 consisting of two plungers 29, 31 which can be actuated hydraulically in the direction of the vertical 18 acts. Claims (8)

  1. An intaglio printing unit having an intaglio forme cylinder (1) which dips into a raisable and lowerable ink trough (13) filled with printing ink and which cooperates with an impression cylinder, and having an ink-application roller (19) which dips into the printing ink and cooperates with the intaglio forme cylinder (1), characterized in that within the ink trough (13) there is arranged an axially extending rotatable contact pressure roller (16) which acts from below on the outer surface (6) of the intaglio forme cylinder (1), supporting the latter, and dips into the printing ink, in that the contact pressure cylinder (16) is mounted to be rotatable in bearing blocks (22; 23) which are connected in fixed or resilient manner to a base surface (21) of the ink trough (13), and in that the ink application roller (19) is arranged laterally with respect to the contact pressure roller (16).
  2. An intaglio printing unit according to Claim 1, characterized in that the length (l) of the contact pressure roller (16) is less than the surface length (l1) of the intaglio forme cylinder (1).
  3. An intaglio printing unit according to Claims 1 to 2, characterized in that the contact pressure roller (16) is displaceable in the axial direction within the surface length (l1) of the intaglio forme cylinder (1).
  4. An intaglio printing unit according to Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the contact pressure roller (16) is drivable by a separate motor.
  5. An intaglio printing unit according to Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the centres of rotation (10, 15) of the intaglio forme cylinder (1) and the contact pressure roller (16) lie on a common vertical (18).
  6. An intaglio printing unit according to Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the centres of rotation (10, 15) of the forme cylinder (1) and the contact pressure roller (16) lie on a straight line (20; 20.1) which runs at an angle (± α), having its origin in the centre of rotation (10) of the intaglio forme cylinder (1), to a vertical (18).
  7. An intaglio printing unit according to Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the ink trough (13) is arranged to be raisable and lowerable by means of lifting apparatus (32).
  8. An intaglio printing unit according to Claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the contact pressure cylinder (16) may be placed against the intaglio forme cylinder (1) by means of a placing system arranged in the ink trough (13).
