Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a device for binocular refraction determination according to the preamble of independent claim 1.
  • CH-A-645 010 describes such a device in which the refraction glasses can be inclined towards one another in corresponding holders in order to determine the near-point refraction.
  • the holders can be adjusted to the pupil distance by means of axial adjustment handles on an elongated support.
  • the disadvantage of this device is the mechanically complex structure, so that the patient has to be presented with a relatively large housing,
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a device according to the invention
  • FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a holding element for a holder for holding the refraction glasses on a larger scale
  • FIG. 3 is a perspective view of an angular gear for the adjustment of the holder and the nasal support
  • FIG. 4 shows an eye test device with a projector for use in an inventive device according to FIG. 1, and
  • FIG. 5 shows an eye test device with polarized test characters for use in the device according to FIG. 1.
  • the carrier 10 consists of a rigid threaded rod, on which holding elements 11, 12, 13 for a refractive glass holder 20, 21 for each eye of a patient and for a nasal support 22 are applied.
  • the holding elements 11, 12, 13 are designed as angular gears according to FIG. 3.
  • a crown gear 31 is provided with an internal thread and moves the holding element 30 axially on the carrier 10 when rotating.
  • a pin 33 mounted in a guide 32 fastened to the holding element 30 carries a further gear wheel 34 which meshes with the crown gear 31. At its free end, the pin 33 carries a grip part 35. With such a holding element, the refraction glass holders 20.21 can be adjusted to the pupil distance of the patient.
  • the refraction glass holders 20, 21 are rigidly attached to a holding element 11, 13.
  • these consist of a fixed ring 23, which can be provided with a scale in order to determine the axes of cylindrical sections or the like.
  • a second ring 24 carries refraction glass carrier 25 and this second ring 24 can be rotated by a handle part 26 by means of a gear.
  • the nasal support 22 is fastened to a holding element 12, which can have the same structure as the holding element 30 shown in FIG. 3.
  • the rod 27 to which the nasal support 22 is fastened can be designed as a threaded rod, and this can be done by means of of a further holding element 28, which is rigidly attached to holding element 12, can be adjusted in height or in length.
  • brackets 14 which are articulated on the outside of the carrier 10, are pivotably supported up and down by means of a further gear 15 in order to adapt them to the different positions of the ears and eyes.
  • handle parts 16 For this purpose, handle parts 16.
  • all grip parts 16, 26, 35, ie without grip part 29 for the height adjustability of the nasal support 22 are arranged in a common plane, so that the optician only for the adjustment of the height of the nasal support 22 from the front against the head of the Patient must grip. All other settings can be operated from the side or from above, so that the patient never has to feel that his eyes are at risk.
  • the holding elements 11, 12, 13 can each be fixed by means of lock nuts 17.
  • an analyzer is provided in the beam path between the test symbol and the test subject's two eyes, the direction of polarization in each beam path being changeable by an electrically controllable unit.
  • At least one LCD unit can be provided as an electrically controllable unit, with which the polarization direction in each beam path is independent of the other beam. lengang is changeable. This does not necessarily mean that the polarization direction in the two beam paths must always be crossed by 90 °, rather, in certain cases, a simultaneous change can also take place.
  • LCD units for example, allows the visual impressions of the left and right eyes to be exchanged. Such a change can be carried out within a few milliseconds, so that the test person can find practically no interruption in the visual impression.
  • the LCD unit can be provided in or immediately in front of the projector.
  • This form of training has the advantage that the entire luminous flux is recorded and that irregularities in the LCD unit are averaged out. It is also possible to arrange the LCD unit in front of the test characters or in front of a projection surface onto which a projector projects the test characters.
  • FIG. 4 shows an eye test device with a projector 41, which is set up for projecting linearly polarized test characters onto a projection surface 42. Furthermore, the observation beam path is shown, in which the test subject's two eyes are denoted by 44 and test glasses or a phoropter by 43.
  • the electrically controllable unit 45 with which the direction of polarization can be changed in each beam path and which can preferably be an LCD unit, can, as already mentioned, be provided in or immediately in front of the projector 41.
  • the electrically controllable unit 45 shown in dashed lines
  • test characters are not projected, but are provided as linearly polarized test characters on a board 42.
  • the electrically controllable unit 45 can be arranged in front of the test characters or in the area of the test glasses, or combined with the test glasses.
  • an eye test device in which an LCD unit is arranged in each beam path, which can change the linear polarization direction in the two beam paths independently of one another or simultaneously.
