Definitions

  • the invention relates to an insulating glass pane for an emergency exit window, consisting of two glass panes which are tightly connected to one another via a metallic spacing frame at the edge, the spacing frame consisting of frame parts made of hollow profiles and connecting pieces connecting these frame parts to one another, on which protruding wire cables for fastening the insulating glass pane over the end wall of the insulating glass pane are attached to the window frame and / or to arrange one or more handles, with the aid of which the insulating glass pane can be detached from the window frame in an emergency.
  • Insulating glass panes of this type are known and are installed in particular in rail vehicles. As a rule, they are provided with some wire cables at the upper edge of the pane, the free ends of which are fastened to the fixed frame in order to hold the insulating glass pane in place when it is released from the rubber frame surrounding the insulating glass pane. To remove it from the rubber frame, a suitable handle is used, which is fastened to two wire cables, which are fastened, for example, in the middle of the lower edge of the insulating glass pane to the spacer frame of the insulating glass pane.
  • An emergency exit window with this basic structure is described in DE-OS 21 46 788.
  • the wire cables are each attached in pairs to a solid holding block.
  • the connection of the wire rope sections with the holding block takes place in a known embodiment in the Way that a threaded nipple is attached to the wire rope ends, which is screwed into a threaded blind hole in the holding block.
  • the wire rope sections are fastened to the holding block by soldering.
  • the holding block can have two insertion ends for insertion into the adjacent frame parts and thus simultaneously serve as a straight connector for the frame parts.
  • the holding block is arranged outside the spacing frame of the insulating glass pane between the two glass panes and glued to them.
  • connection between the wire cables and the spacer frame of the insulating glass pane must inevitably have a high strength and must not come loose if the insulating glass pane is torn out of its enclosure via these cables.
  • the known solutions for this purpose which meet these requirements, are relatively complex. On the one hand, special metallic molded parts are required to which the wire ropes are attached, and on the other hand the connection process itself must be carried out carefully.
  • the invention has for its object to provide an insulating glass pane of the type mentioned, in which the structure of the spacer frame and the attachment of the wire cables to the spacer frame are designed so that on the one hand a secure attachment of the wire cables to the spacer frame is guaranteed and on the other hand none special fittings for fastening the wire cables are required.
  • the connecting pieces to which the wire cables are attached each consist of an intermediate piece made of the same hollow profile as the other frame parts, the wall of which is directed towards the end face of the insulating glass pane and has one end of the intermediate piece starting slot is provided that a metallic flat profile section is inserted into each intermediate piece provided with two bores and a wire rope passing through the bores through the bores, the two wire rope ends protruding outward through the slot, and that the intermediate piece has two straight connectors with the adjacent ones Frame parts is connected.
  • Another particular advantage is the extremely secure attachment of the wire ropes, which takes place in the embodiment according to the invention in such a way that a wire rope section is passed through the two holes of the flat profile section in such a way that it forms a loop, the two end sections of which are used for fastening the Form the insulating glass pane on the window frame or the pair of wire cables required for attaching the handle to the insulating glass pane.
  • the insulating glass pane 1 can in principle have any shape.
  • Fig. 1 it is shown as a rectangular insulating glass pane with rounded corners.
  • Glass panes 2 and 3 are preferably glass panes made of safety glass, for example single-pane safety glasses made of thermally toughened glass or laminated safety glasses, i.e. Multilayer glasses.
  • Adhesive layers 5 and 6 are used for bonding between the side walls of the spacer frame 4 and the glass panes 2 and 3.
  • the cavity between the outer peripheral surface of the spacer frame 4 and the edge regions of the glass panes 2 and 3 projecting beyond the spacer frame 4 is filled with a water vapor diffusion-tight adhesive sealant 7.
  • the insulating glass pane 1 is provided on its upper edge 9 with two wire cables 10, 11 arranged in pairs, each of which protrudes from the end face perpendicular to the edge 9 in the central plane of the insulating glass pane.
  • a nipple 12 is arranged, which is used to fasten the wire cables 10, 11 in the window frame.
  • the insulating glass pane 1 is provided in the middle with two wire cables 15 arranged at a short distance from one another. These wire ropes 15 are longer than the upper wire ropes 10, 11 and are also each provided with a nipple 12 at their free ends.
  • a handle is attached to the wire cables 15 in the installed state of the insulating glass pane. With the help of this handle, the insulating glass pane 1 can be torn out of the rubber frame surrounding it in an emergency. The insulating glass pane 1 then hangs on the wire cables 10, 11 and can then be folded away so that it releases the window opening as an exit opening.
  • the spacer frame 4 of the insulating glass pane 1 consists of a hollow profile, for example a rectangular tubular aluminum profile. It is composed of several parts, namely a straight section 18, a U-shaped frame part 19 and a U-shaped frame part 20, and intermediate pieces 21.
  • the frame parts 18, 19, 20 are connected to the intermediate pieces 21 by so-called Straight connectors 22, which usually consist of plastic and are inserted into the open ends of the hollow profiles forming the frame parts, are connected to one another.
  • Each intermediate piece 21 comprises a section of the same hollow profile from which the frame parts 18, 19 and 2o exist.
  • a hollow profile with a rectangular cross section is shown in the drawings, but the cross section can also have a different shape.
  • the length of the intermediate piece 21 is not critical; The length is expediently on the order of 10 to 20 cm.
  • the wall 24 of the intermediate piece 21 facing the end face of the insulating glass pane is provided on part of its area with a central longitudinal slot 25, the width of which is slightly larger than the diameter of the wire cables 10, 11, 15.
  • the slot 25 begins at an end face 26 of the intermediate piece 21 and extends to the point at which the wire rope 15 further away from the end face 26 is arranged.
  • a flat profile section 28, to which the wire cables 15 are fastened, is arranged within the intermediate piece 21.
  • This flat profile section 28 is supported on the outer wall of the intermediate piece next to the slot 25.
  • the height H of the flat profile section 28 is dimensioned such that the space remaining between the flat profile section 28 and the inner wall 29 is higher than the diameter of the wire rope 15.
  • the flat profile section 28 is provided with two bores 30 which are spaced apart by a few centimeters . A wire rope 15 is passed through these bores 30 in a loop-like manner, so that this results in two wire rope sections 15 which are held by the flat profile section 28.
  • the intermediate pieces 21 are first prepared.
  • a sufficiently long piece of wire rope is first inserted into the two bores 30 of a flat iron section 28 in such a way that on one side of the flat iron section 28 two wire rope sections 15 of approximately the same length protrude from the bores 30, while the loop-like middle section 15 'of the wire rope between the holes 30 is carried by the flat iron section 28.
  • the flat iron section thus provided with two wire rope ends 15 is now inserted from the end face 26 of an intermediate piece into the cavity of the intermediate piece 21, in such a way that the two wire rope ends 15 slide through the slot 25 into their end position.
  • the loop-like middle section 15 'of the wire rope which is preferably a steel wire rope, is pressed under elastic deformation against the wall 29 of the intermediate piece 21, so that the flat iron section 28 is sufficiently fixed at the desired position in the intermediate piece.
  • the further processing to the finished insulating glass pane is carried out in the known manner.
