- Devices for mixing two components consisting of a vessel with a screw thread and a screw element that can be screwed onto the vessel, are known in a wide variety of embodiments.
- attachments which are able to cut films inserted into the vessel by screwing a screw element on a threaded neck of a vessel.
- a screw element in the form of a cap is provided with a tooth protruding into the threaded neck of a container which cuts out a film in the threaded neck when the cap is screwed. If the film separates two different components, for example two liquids or a liquid and a powdery substance, a mixture of the two components results after the film has been cut through and the container shaken.
- Such devices can also be used for the separate storage of a dusting product and a liquid.
- a dusting product for example a natural hair dye powder
- a disadvantage of the known devices is that they are not suitable for at least partial reuse. They are designed to be relatively complex and therefore expensive to manufacture. After a film separating the components has been destroyed, it is not possible for a user to restore the functionality of the device.
- the invention has for its object to provide a device for mixing two components, which does not have the disadvantages mentioned above, and in which the functionality of the device can be easily restored by a user.
- At least one cutting mandrel is provided in the region of the upper edge of an open vessel, a detachable depot vessel with a foil that can be cut open on the vessel is inserted into a screw element that can be screwed onto the vessel, and the lower inside diameter of the depot vessel is larger than twice the distance between the center axis of the vessel and the cutting mandrel.
- a detachable depot vessel with a water-soluble film arranged on the vessel side is inserted into the screw element.
- the depot vessel is placed in the screw element and then the screw element is screwed onto the vessel.
- the cutting mandrel arranged on the upper edge of the vessel pierces the film of the depot vessel.
- the screw element is tightened on the screw thread of the vessel, the film is cut open in a circle.
- a product component contained in the depot vessel reaches the underlying vessel to a second product component present there.
- the entire device for mixing the product components is hermetically sealed. The mixing of the two product components can be improved by shaking the device.
- the water-soluble film of the depot vessel is dissolved by an aqueous solution present in the vessel.
- the closed vessel is rotated such that the film comes into contact with the solution.

- the vessel and the screw element can be reused after cleaning with a new depot vessel. A user can easily restore the functionality of the device insofar as, instead of an emptied depot vessel, only a new, filled depot vessel has to be inserted into the screw element.
- the film is a plastic-coated aluminum film (claim 5)
- the two components are separated from a film which has very good barrier properties with regard to product diffusion due to the aluminum layer, and which is based on its plastic coating (for example the same plastic as the depot container) the edge of the storage vessel can be sealed.
- a particularly simple handling of the device according to the invention is achieved if, according to claim 7, the depot vessel can be positively clamped into the screw element. An emptied depot vessel is pulled out of the screw element, and a new depot vessel is inserted into the screw element.
- the edge of the depot vessel is pressed against the seal when the screwing element is screwed on, and the interior of the vessel is thus hermetically sealed. Even when the screwed-in device is shaken or rotated, no liquid can escape from the device.
- the depot is particularly inexpensive to manufacture if it consists of thermoformed plastic.
- the screwing element is designed as a threaded ring (claim 10)
- depot vessels of different heights can optionally be inserted into the screwing element.
- the individual depot vessels then protrude from the threaded ring at different heights.
- Depot vessels of different heights serve to hold different component volumes and thus different mixing ratios in the device.

- the device 1 is screwed together in the same way as described above. After screwing together, the device is shaken. This will make the water soluble Foil 19 wetted and dissolved by the liquid component 10.
