Werden Späne als Isolationsmaterial benützt, beispielsweise Hobelspäne oder Späne anderer Herkunft, wird zwar der Vorteil erhalten, daß das Isolationsmaterial nur einen geringen Wert besitzt. Der Nachteil ist jedoch die leichte Entflammbarkeit bzw. die schlechte Dämmwirkung im Falle eines Brandes. Zwar ist es möglich, durch brandhemmende Zusatzstoffe die Feuerhemmung etwas zu verbessern. Wegen der sehr großen Oberfläche bzw. den geringen Abmessungen von Spänen ist jedoch der Verbrauch an derartigen Mitteln beträchtlich.A wall of the type described has the advantage that the wall can, if desired, be made in the workshop.   8. A method for manufacturing a wall with insulation according to claim 1, characterized in that the first and the second layer are fed essentially simultaneously into the cavity and that the first layer will harden only when in the cavity.
  9. A method according to claim 8, characterized in that the second layer is fed into the cavity in a moistened condition.
  10. A method according to one or both of the preceding claims 8,9, characterized in that the moisture effects the hardening of the first layer.
  11. A method according to one or more of the preceding claims 8 to 10, characterized in that the first and second layer are fed into the cavity by means of a climbing formwork, the climbing formwork being continuously raised and uniformly releasing from separate outlets the chips and a mixture containing the binder, with compacting means acting in particular upon the chips.
