Description

The invention relates to a wall for a wooden house with an outer layer of wood and an inner layer and an insulation consisting of chips in the space between the outer and the inner layer. The invention further relates to a method for producing such a wall.

Walls or wall parts are known that are part of a wooden house. Such walls or wall parts usually consist of an outer layer of wood, which is made up of individual beams or boards, for example. The individual beams or boards of the wood layer are usually connected to each other with a tongue and groove connection. The inner layer can be constructed in the same way. It usually consists of tongue and groove boards or another plate-like material. The inner and outer layers of such a wall are connected by spacing elements, for example by beams, so that there is an intermediate space between the two layers which has to accommodate insulation.

It is known to use shavings, in particular shavings, as insulation. Other types of insulation, for example rock wool, glass wool, polystyrene or similar agents, are also known.

A wall of the type described has the advantage that the wall can, if desired, be made in the workshop. However, the insulation effect is unsatisfactory. With suitable insulation material, which preferably consists of plates and is difficult to fit, good thermal insulation values can be achieved. However, the sound insulation is poor. If chips are used as insulation material, for example shavings or chips of other origin, the advantage is obtained that the insulation material has only a low value. The disadvantage, however, is the flammability or the poor insulation in the event of a fire. It is possible to improve fire retardancy somewhat by using fire retardant additives. However, because of the very large surface area and the small dimensions of chips, the consumption of such agents is considerable.

The invention is based on the object of providing insulation for a wall of the type specified at the outset which has good sound and heat insulation properties with little production outlay and which also results in substantially better fire protection.

To achieve this object, the invention is based on a wall the genus specified at the beginning. According to the invention, it is proposed that the insulation consist of several adjacent layers, namely at least one first layer containing binder and at least one second layer of stuffed chips, the two layers, which individually have little or no stability, in the Wall support each other.

Because the invention provides at least two layers, an advantageous addition to the effect of the two layers is achieved. In particular, the advantage is obtained that the two layers support one another, so that the mechanical strength, in particular also of the first layer, can be low. This first layer, which can be a layer of mortar, for example, significantly improves the fire-retardant effect. The first layer either covers the chip layer or prevents a fire from spreading beyond the chip layer in the event of a fire. Of course, fire retardants such as aluminum hydroxide, phosphates and similar substances can also be used.

The first layer is fixed by the second layer, wherein either this first layer can be arranged between two layers of stuffed chips or between a chip layer on the one hand and one of the outer or inner wall layers on the other.

It has been found that when the chips are stuffed, ie when the volume is greatly reduced, the insulation effect against heat transfer increases. The air spaces between the chips are smaller, so that the convection currents are prevented. The additional consumption of chips is negligible given the low value of the chips.

The insulation effect against sound is particularly advantageous in the invention. The fact that the insulation is made up of several layers, which have a different stiffness and thus a different vibration behavior, results in very good sound insulation.

It is also advantageous that both layers, namely both the first and the second layer, are made of environmentally friendly material, so that, for example, no problems arise when the construction site is disposed of. The same applies to the recycling of waste during production.

The arrangement of several layers within the meaning of the invention also results in advantages with regard to the control of pests of any kind. Pests which, for example, overcome the chip layer are prevented from the solidified layer.

A mortar layer is preferably used for the first layer. It can be gypsum mortar, lime mortar, cement mortar or the like. Layers in which glue, casein, latex or plastic are used as binders can also be used.

In addition to wood chips or wood shavings, other materials, such as chopped straw or paper, polystyrene granules or the like, can also be used for the second, stuffed layer.

The insulation according to the invention will lie closely against the spacer elements which connect the outer wood layer and the inner layer to one another without special measures. In contrast to cut sheet material, there is no gap formation in the chip layer. The plug also has the advantage that subsequent collapse is avoided.

Chips can also be used in the first layer, which serve as filler material and are held together by binders.

The first layer can have areas that are not consolidated. This can be achieved by moistening only the outer surfaces of a mortar layer so that the mortar does not set completely on the inside. In this way it is achieved that the first layer is constructed in several parts, which improves both the sound insulation and the heat insulation. In order to prevent trickling out, it is advisable to provide layers of paper or foil.

Good results are obtained if the insulation consists of a middle, second layer, which is covered on both sides by a first layer. In this way, the chip layer is very difficult to ignite, especially since the first layers have very little air permeability.

If wood shavings are used, it is advisable to compress them to about half the volume by plugging.

To improve the mechanical strength, it can be advantageous if threads or wires are embedded in at least one of the layers. This applies in particular to the first layer. The embedded threads or wires represent a reinforcement that prevents the layer from collapsing at least over a certain period of time, even if, for example, the chip layer is destroyed in the event of a fire. It is not necessary that only non-combustible material is used, since the material is stored in the mortar, for example. Plastic threads, textile materials, bristles, wooden wire or the like can therefore also be used. Wire material can also form a framework in the chip layer.

It is advantageous if spacer elements are provided which connect the outer wood layer and the inner layer and if these spacer elements have grooves which accommodate the edge of the first layer. Since this first layer is preferably introduced plastically, special fitting work is not necessary.

The invention further relates to a method for producing a wall with insulation. The invention proposes that the first and second layers are introduced into the intermediate space essentially simultaneously and that the first layer hardens only in the intermediate space.

The simultaneous introduction of the two layers into the intermediate space ensures that there is mutual support between the two layers from the start, so that the relatively low mechanical strength, in particular of the first layer, does not result in any disadvantages. The introduction into the intermediate space can take place, for example, in such a way that the wall parts are manufactured horizontally, the inner or outer layer of the wall having not yet been applied. The various layers are introduced into the trough formed in this way at the same time or at a short time interval, for example first a layer of mortar, then a layer of chips and then another layer of mortar. The chips can be compacted when building the wall or in an upstream operation. The trough is then covered.

The method according to the invention has the advantage that a wall which is produced in this way can be erected immediately can. It is not necessary to wait for the first coat to harden.

It is advantageous if the second layer is introduced into the intermediate space in a moistened manner. Moisturized chips are relatively easy to deform and only develop relatively low elastic restoring forces. The compression or plugging is thereby facilitated. If the chips subsequently dry out, there is an expansion effect, which in turn has an advantageous effect on the support effect with respect to the first layer.

The moisture in the moistened second layer can also be used to effect curing of the first layer. In this way it follows that the regions of the first layer adjacent to the second layer harden, but that regions further away do not harden or only harden insignificantly.

In a variant of the method according to the invention, it is provided that the first and the second layer are introduced into the intermediate space by means of climbing formwork, the climbing formwork continuously being raised and delivering the chips and a mixture containing the binder uniformly from separate outlets, with stuffing devices in particular on the Chips act. In this way, a wall can be made standing.

Für die innere Schicht können aber auch andere, beispielsweise plattenartige Bauelemente Verwendung finden.1 and 2 show that the wall has an outer wood layer 6 and an inner layer 7. The outer layer of wood 6 can consist of planks which are connected to one another by a tongue and groove arrangement 10, as is known per se. The inner layer 7 can be constructed from profiled boards. Other, for example plate-like, components can also be used for the inner layer.

The wooden frame 5, which connects the inner and outer layers 6 and 7, serves as a spacer.

The insulation is arranged between the layers 6 and 7.

In the embodiment according to FIG. 1, this insulation consists of a total of five layers. Layers 1 alternate with layers 2. Layer 1 is, for example, a layer of mortar, while layer 2 consists essentially of stuffed wood shavings. For the inner layer 11, which is a mortar layer, a groove 8 is provided in the spacer element 5, so that in particular the windproofness is significantly improved. Such grooves 8 can also be used in the other exemplary embodiments of the invention shown.

Layers 2 of stuffed chips and layers 1 completely fill the space between layers 6 and 7. It is thereby achieved that the layers 1 and 2 support each other. This applies both at the time these layers are introduced, if the layers 1 have not yet hardened, and later in the state in which the layers 1 have already solidified. If, for example, cracks appear in the mortar layer 1 over time, this is of no further importance since these layers cannot collapse because they are supported by the chip layers.

In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 2, a middle chip layer 2 is enveloped by the layers 1, which each have a binder. The layers 1 have areas 3 that are not consolidated, that is, for example, sand or powder. Such an arrangement is achieved when only the regions 13 of layer 1 which are in contact with layer 2 are moistened during the introduction, for example by the moisture required for curing being applied by the moistened layer 2. If layer 1 has areas that are not solidified, it is advisable to use paper or film intermediate layers 12 in order to prevent trickling out of areas 3 of layer 1. The The use of such sand or powder layers significantly improves sound insulation.

In Fig. 2 it is indicated that threads or wires 4 can be inserted into both the layers 1 and the layers 2, which act as reinforcement.

Fig. 3 shows the manufacture of the wall according to the invention in a lying position. The inner layer 7, indicated by dash-dotted lines in FIG. 3, is only subsequently placed after the insulation has been introduced. The wall initially consists only of the outer layer 6 and the spacer elements 5. The trough formed in this way is filled in a single operation by a pouring device 14, which is designed with three channels 15, 16 or 17, for example, according to the desired layers. The mortar or a suitable substance of a different composition is introduced through the channels 15 and 17 and the layer 2 of the stuffed chips through the channel 16. The chips can be pressed together at the moment of filling, which is indicated by the arrows 18. The vibrators 19 facilitate the inflow of the masses, in particular for the layers 1. During the filling process, either the pouring device 14 moves in the direction of arrow 20 or the wall is pulled along in the direction of arrow 21 under the pouring device.

The insulation can also be filled in layers, for example in such a way that first the lower layer 1 is filled in and then the chips are then inserted, in particular in the moistened state, and pressed together by suitable means. Then the upper layer 1 is introduced and finally the inner layer 7. It has been found that with such a production method and also with the continuous process described above 3, no mutual penetration of the individual layers occurs to any appreciable extent.

In this case, the wall consists of the outer wood layer 6 and the inner layer 7 as well as the spacer element 5. The wall can stand upright, approximately in the position in which it will be installed later. The wall can also be placed on the side. The schematically indicated climbing formwork is housed inside the wall consisting of parts 5, 6 and 7. The mass for the formation of the layers 2 slides from top to bottom between the layers 6 and 7. The mass for the formation of the layers 1, on the other hand, is conveyed by horizontally extending screws 22 and emerge from these screws downwards. Swivel flaps 23 are mounted above the screws, which execute a swivel movement of approximately 180 °. The swivel flaps are driven by a linkage 24 at the ends of the swivel flaps and by a schematically indicated motor 25, so that the inflow of chips for the layers 2 is not disrupted. The swivel flaps compress the chips for the layers 2, and the space between the layers 6 and 7 is filled in a uniform movement of the climbing formwork 26 upwards.

In the variant according to FIGS. 5 and 6, the masses for forming the two lateral layers 1 are filled in parallel to the masses for forming layer 2. The walls 27 of the climbing formwork separate the two masses for layers 1 and 2 during the filling process. Swing flaps 23 are provided at the lower end of the climbing formwork, which in this case execute swiveling movements by approximately a right angle in order to compact the chips to form layer 2 . In the lower area of the climbing formwork, the elastic film 28 separates the masses to form the two layers.

Further press flaps 29 also press the plastic masses for layer 1 downwards.

Fig. 6, which shows a horizontal section, shows that a pipe guide 30 is provided for the climbing formwork 26, which is arranged in the corners of the space formed by the layers 6 and 7 and the spacers 5. The drive motor 25 and the linkage 32 for the swivel flaps can also be arranged centrally, for example.

Rooms 31 can also be kept free for the pipe guides, which can later be used for laying installation lines.
