Abstract

A radiator valve comprises a housing (1) on which are arranged a pipe union (11) for connection to the radiator and a screw socket (13) for receiving the first closure piece (4), which is arranged on a hollow valve spindle (3). The first closure piece (4), together with a valve seat (33) in the housing (1), forms a choke-like preset device for the throughflow. To allow the line or radiator to be emptied through the hollow valve spindle (3), the hollow valve spindle (3) contains a second valve closure piece (5), which can be actuated from the outside against the force of a spring and moved forward from the outside with regard to a corresponding valve seat in the valve spindle (3). The second hollow valve closure piece (5) is double acting and can be moved, with its end (52) opposite the discharge valve seat (33), through the first valve closure piece (4) toward the housing valve seat (14). Die Erfindung betrifft ein Heizungsventil nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruches 1, welches in Geradsitz- oder Schrägsitzbauweise in Heizungsanlagen mit mehreren Heizkörpern und verschiedenen Strängen vorwiegend im Rücklauf eingesetzt wird. Bekannt ist ein gattungsgemäßes Heizungsventil aus dem DE-GM 71 11 825. Bei diesem Heizungsventil ist im Schraubstutzen des Gehäuses eine ebenfalls der Voreinstellung der Durchflußmenge dienende hohle Spindel eingeschraubt, die über eine Schraubkappe gegen den Ventilsitz im Gehäuse zur Absperrung und zur Voreinstellung verschiebbar ist. In der hohlen Ventilspindel ist ein Kugelventil angeordnet, über welches der Strang bzw. ein Heizkörper entleert werden können. Durch die hohle Ventilspindel hindurch kann von außen mit einer aufschraubbaren Entleervorrichtung die Kugel gegen den Druck der Rückstellfeder verschoben und damit von ihrem Ventilsitz im Inneren der Ventilspindel abgehoben werden. Im Prinzip bestimmt die Stellung dieses ersten Verschlußstückes 4 zum entsprechenden Ventilsitz 14 die Voreinstellung für den Durchfluß. Mit diesem ersten Verschlußstück 4 ist das Heizungsventil absperrbar. In dem axialen Hohlraum 31 der Ventilspindel 3 ist gegen den Druck der Feder 6 ein doppelt wirkendes zweites Verschlußstück 5 verschiebbar. Mit seinem oberen Verschlußstückende 51 bildet es mit dem Ventilsitz 33 in in der hohlen Spindel 3 das Entleerungsventil. Durch Aufsetzen einer nicht dargestellten Entleerungsvorrichtung ist das zweite Verschlußstück 5 mit seinem Verschlußstückende 51 von diesem Ventilsitz 33 abhebbar. Zur Entleerung strömt das Wasser aus dem Strang oder dem Heizkörper durch das hohle zweite Verschlußstück 5 in den Hohlraum 31 der Ventilspindel und von dort nach außen in die aufgesetzte Entleervorrichtung. Der Hohlraum 53 im zweiten Verschlußstück 5 ist zum Gehäuse hin offen. Er endet unterhalb des Verschlußstückendes 51, so daß im in Figur 1 gezeigten Zustand der Ventilsitz 33 verschlossen ist.Reference is first made to FIG. 1. Claims (5)

  1. Radiator valve, wherein there are provided on a housing (1) a pipe union (11) for connection to the line, a pipe union (12) for connection to the radiator and a screw socket (13) for receiving a first closure member (4), which is disposed on a hollow valve spindle (3) and forms with a valve seat (14) in the housing a throttle-like preset device for the throughflow, and a second valve closure member (5), which is actuatable from externally in opposition to the pressure of a spring (6), is displaceable in the hollow valve spindle (3) from externally relative to a corresponding valve seat (33) in the valve spindle (3) for draining the line or the radiator via the valve spindle, characterised in that the second hollow valve closure member (5) is double-acting and is displaceable through the first valve closure member (4) in a direction towards the housing valve seat (14) with its end (52) situated opposite the discharge valve seat (33), a controller (9) being mountable on the valve and acting on the second valve closure member.
  2. Radiator valve according to claim 1, characterised in that a screw cap (8) is mounted on the external end of the valve spindle (3), which is upwardly received in an upper valve portion (2) so as to be rotationally connectable therewith.

Radiator valve according to claim 2, characterised in that a receiving means (34) for a controller, preferably a diaphragm controller (9), is provided on the external end of the valve spindle (3), which end protrudes through the screw cap (8), said controller engaging in the interior of the valve spindle (3) by means of an actuating member (92) and acting against the spring-loaded second closure member (5).
  4. Radiator valve according to claim 2, characterised in that a presetting nut (10) is screw-mounted on a terminally situated external threaded portion (23) of the upper portion (2) so as to be axially displaceable to a limited extent, said nut being in rotary connection with a setting ring (10a), which concentrically surrounds such connection and engages, with an external toothing, in a corresponding internal toothing of an indicator ring (7), which concentrically surrounds said setting ring, and said setting ring can be slipped from this indicator ring when defined in the axial direction in order to release the toothed connection.
